My sister gifted me this for my September birthday, and I ended up taking the pack along with the other new one. At first, I thought I preferred the other, but honestly, Ciel Rouge is my absolute favorite. It’s an enveloping, soft, velvety scent—sweet and floral, yet distinct from today’s trends. It also has fruity and vanilla notes, plus a touch of white flower that I thought was neroli, but it’s not there… It reminds me a bit of L’Interdit, the more intense versions. I’m not saying they’re the same, but it evokes that feeling in me. It’s sophisticated and impossible to ignore. Smells amazing, projects just enough to get compliments, and lasts a solid six hours on skin and longer on clothes… This could be my signature scent; I think it will be mine… It smells like you’re eating a delicate French pastry while strolling under white flowering trees at night, with some rose bushes nearby… Delicious! (I have no idea what davana smells like).
