  Is it a sport fragrance? Cartier’s Roadster Sport is unisex (though advertised for men). The opening is very fresh, with green notes and no sweetness. I don’t get what makes it ‘sport.’ It smells great, you can tell it’s a different kind of fragrance, meaning quality. It’s for casual use, ideal for hot weather where it projects more. Longevity is poor; with about 6 sprays on hot spots (chest, neck, nape), it struggles to reach 4 hours. But it’s worth reapplying to enjoy. Anyone can wear it. When I smell it, it reminds me of a walk in the park watching leaves fall.

I’m not sure what makes it ‘sporty’—it just smells amazing and feels like a completely different kind of perfume. It’s quality. Perfect for casual wear, especially in the heat when it projects well. Longevity is weak; with about 6 sprays on pulse points (chest, neck, nape), it’s hard to last 4 hours. But it’s worth reapplying to enjoy. Anyone can wear it. To me, it smells like a walk in the park watching leaves fall.

  Rozz’s reviews are spot on, and this time he did it again. I’ll just add that the cap reminded me of Cartier’s Pasha, and that’s because this fragrance is a “juvenalized” and updated version of that classic (that’s how I see it as a Pasha user). Saying it’s a delight sounds like a cliché, but… it’s a delight for the senses!

  In my opinion, the trail and longevity are not deficient, so there’s no need to overapply it (it depends on each case). As Shiseido says, it’s “a delight for the senses.” Smelling it instantly evokes soft, clean, and subtly perfumed skin. Because it’s subtle, it’s inviting because it makes you want to get closer to smell it. I see it as ideal for men who value simplicity and neatness; imagine it with a white cotton t-shirt and jeans, everything clean and fresh, with logical and peaceful ideas. It has an exquisite and soft bergamot, accompanied by non-pungent citrus, and a blend of guaiac, rosemary, patchouli, and sage. I didn’t notice pepper. It’s fresh, delicious, and refined, although simple. I liked it a lot for men and it seems to be a fresher and lighter flanker of the original Roadster, which is my favorite. There are better and worse, but if you’re looking for something fresh, subtle, and quality to complement that personality, it’s a safe investment.

  Rozz’s reviews are spot on, and he hits it again. I’ll just add that the cap reminded me of Cartier’s Pasha; I see it as a ‘youthful’ and modernized take on that classic (as a Pasha wearer, that’s my take). Calling it a delight is cliché, but… it’s truly a delight for the senses!

  It’s in my collection and very elegant. From the standout bottle design to the refined aura of the scent, it’s worth owning and appreciating as one of the best. I wear it on mild days, not too hot; it’s luxury for autumn and spring. Great for daily use. Longevity varies, but sometimes I have it on my skin all day. A solid Cartier fragrance.

  I have it in my collection and it’s a very elegant fragrance. From the bottle design, which stands out from the rest, to the refined aroma it emits, it’s worth having. I prefer it on mild days, not very hot, and I think it fits perfectly in autumn and spring for daily use. The fixation is variable in my case, but sometimes I wear it all day. A good Cartier perfume.

  In my opinion, Roadster Sport has been unfairly criticized by critics, but it has a perfect balance. Although its trail isn’t huge and its longevity is average, it recovers the best notes of Santos and Pasha by Cartier. It’s very fresh and neat, far surpassing fresh colognes like those from Calvin Klein, and it’s an excellent bet for young people.

  I’ve had it for a while; the bottle honors its name with a classic Roadster shape, evoking simplicity. I feel it’s for daily wear in warm weather (not inferno-hot like Santiago), around pleasant 23°C is when it really pops. On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours when applied generously, with moderate sillage. Immediately, I thought it was for men aged 25 to 35. In the notes, it’s a citrus/woody hit at the start; at 2 hours, clinging to the skin with less sillage, it softens and you perceive the patchouli, if I’m not mistaken. After 6 hours, it’s very soft, skin-scent only. Personally, I like it and recommend it; it’s simplicity and quality in a bottle. I don’t see what’s special about adding ‘Sport’ to the name; it’s simple but potent. I’d apply it after a mid-morning shower on a cool summer day, but not necessarily after the gym or a soccer game, nor even after a hectic day.

  I’ve been wearing it for a while and the bottle is a real hit: it mimics a classic roadster and conveys that simplicity that I love so much. I use it daily on warm days, not on those infernal heats like in Santiago, but on pleasant 23-degree days where it really shines. It lasts about 6 hours with a generous application, leaving a moderate trail. At first, I thought it was for men between 25 and 35 years old. At first spray, it’s a hit of citrus and wood; after two hours, it sticks more to the skin without losing strength, softening to let the patchouli peek through, and after six hours, it’s very subtle. In summary, I love it: simplicity and quality in a single bottle. By the way, I don’t see why they put “Sport” in the name; it’s simple but powerful. Ideally, apply it after a mid-morning shower on a cool summer day, not necessarily after the gym or a match, but for a quiet day.

  Excellent fragrance for summer, elegant, sophisticated, and very fresh. But maybe it doesn’t suit me much due to my age.

  I picked it up recently in Chile at a good price, a great find. Very citrusy at first, then it becomes slightly more woody but light and rich. A quality citrus that lasts. For around 20-35 years old, sophisticated and elegant, nothing common.

  Subtle and refined luck, very classy. It starts citrusy, ideal for summer because it’s not bothersome. On my skin, it works perfectly, lasting between 7 and 8 hours, with the last notes lingering close to the skin. The trail is moderate. It doesn’t disappoint and is enchanting; the balance between citrus and pepper gives freshness. I love how it dries down.

  I’ve been testing this Roadster version launched in 2009, now discontinued like its predecessor. Roadster Sport is citrusy, woody, and aromatic, very pleasant. Upon application, the citrus stands out, especially mandarin, with herbal touches I assume are rosemary. Then the woods take over, particularly patchouli, but that citrus freshness never fades. I expected a resemblance to the original, but they’re very different; maybe only in the dry-down where the patchouli shines, since the original lacked the labdanum, mint, and vanilla that gave it personality. Still, it’s worthy of Cartier for its elegance and quality. Despite the name, it’s not for sports, but for casual wear in spring and summer. If I knew it was discontinued, I’d have grabbed it already; now I’m waiting for another chance because I really liked it.

  I just tried this version of Roadster, launched in 2009 and now I know it’s discontinued along with its father. Roadster Sport is citrusy, woody, and aromatic, very pleasant. Upon application, you note citrus, mainly tangerine, surrounded by herbal notes, I suppose rosemary is one. Then the woods take over, especially patchouli, but its citrus freshness is never lost. I expected it to be similar to the original, but they are very different; at most, they are similar in the dry-down where the patchouli is noticeable, but the notes of labdanum, mint, and vanilla that gave personality to Roadster are not here. Still, Roadster Sport is worthy of Cartier, denoting elegance and quality in its ingredients. Despite the name, I don’t see it for sports, but for casual use, especially in spring and summer. If I had known it was discontinued, I would have bought it already; for now, I’ll wait for another opportunity because I really liked it.

  A sporty fragrance with subtle elegance that’s very wearable. Right now in the middle of summer here, I’ve been eyeing citrus scents, and this fits perfectly. It smells great anywhere it’s hot. It combines the freshness of citrus with the warmth of soft, slightly sweet woods. On my skin, it’s a well-crafted fragrance with a classic vibe and nothing synthetic; it smells like natural essences. Ideal for gifting or wearing around the house and to work. The downside? Its performance is a bit weak, though the heat helps a bit. I liked it. I don’t see myself wearing it, but I recognize it looks great on a man or father with a classic style. A well-crafted citrus scent, and that’s hard to do; experts say making citrus fragrances is very difficult as they can easily end up vulgar and ordinary, but this is not the case.
