It smells rich and conveys elegance, seriousness, and cleanliness; it’s Zegna-worthy, perfect for the office or formal events. Very pleasant for any nose. The downside: it projects little, has medium-low longevity, and a reduced sillage; it’s more about feeling clean than filling the room. Watch out, they say it’s no longer sold, and that hurts me—I bought it once and haven’t seen it since. If you can find it at a good price, buy it now!

Starts herbal with rosemary and Sicilian bergamot, very masculine. After 15 minutes, white pepper emerges, followed by powdery iris, patchouli, and oakmoss. Fabulous, timeless aroma, for men over 25, ideal for dates or the office, perfect in heat and not overwhelming. My October 2021 batch has somewhat poor longevity.

At first, I thought it was the same as Terre d’Hermès, but the opening smells like alcohol without much scent. Both are fruity, spicy, and woody with a warm feel; Hermès wins on the opening, but Zegna takes it on the dry-down on skin thanks to that elegant iris. Power and sillage are just average, nothing spectacular like in recent reformulations. It’s worth it to smell good without bothering anyone, noticeable only at a very short distance.

Italian style, similar to D&G Light Blue but cheaper. Longevity is low, but it smells incredible. Even though it’s from 2005, it doesn’t smell old; it’s ideal for the office. Bergamot dominates with a well-executed spicy touch of pepper and rosemary. It’s friendly, doesn’t offend anyone, and attracts compliments. If the longevity were better, I’d wear it as a signature. It’s a huge flaw that it’s so good.

I bought it on sale and it’s very pleasant, hard to dislike. On my skin, it lasts less than 2 hours, though I know it lasts longer for others, so it depends on the skin. It smells clean, highlights bergamot with rosemary, and patchouli shows up in the dry-down; I don’t detect iris. I wouldn’t recommend it for heat because it evaporates quickly on me.

Z by Zegna is fresh, spicy, woody with citrus. I haven’t used it in a while and I’m surprised it’s talked about so little. There are famous fragrances hyped by influencers, but this one gets little mention. It sits at my level alongside Versace Pour Homme, Light Blue, Polo Blue, or Acqua di Gio. Citrus and spicy opening like a fresh breeze thanks to bergamot and rosemary. Then notes of pepper and nutmeg without losing freshness, plus iris, musk, and woods add elegance. It’s versatile, for all seasons and any occasion. My bottle lasts about 10 hours and projects well at first, although the first time it was a bit weak. It’s the ‘Z’ version by Zegna; the new ‘Zegna Classic’ might have been reformulated and I haven’t tried it. I love it, but test it before buying blind.

This perfume closes the week of spring and summer fragrances. It smells fresh; the iris adds a slight sweetness but keeps it very discreet. Good balance between summer and discreet wood. Highly recommended for heat. It lasts 2 hours, then another 6 on skin. It cost $60; considering its performance in this season, Zara scents would be more suitable, diverse, and you could buy four of them.

The opening is similar to AB’s Mediterraneo, then it becomes spicier, like Montblanc’s Starwalker. It’s like a mix of the two.

Bought blind based on Fragrantica and YouTube reviews, and it was excellent. On my skin, it’s potent, fresh, sweet, and versatile, better for spring, summer, and fall. It’s in the style of Versace Pour Homme but authentic, not similar. Masculine, good sillage, and longevity. Suitable for formal and casual wear, though I think more for daytime, the office, or a date. It’s a ‘must-have’ for any collection; I recommend it.
Dansan04
Very well composed. By the hour, the iris comes through and gives it a very pleasant gentlemanly touch. It’s versatile and very similar to Versace Pour Homme. It’s here to stay!

A fresh, citrusy scent with a sweet touch—super versatile and suitable for any age. I wear it at the office or for workouts, and everyone compliments it, men and women alike. It’s a recommendation that everyone loves because it suits everyone; it’s not heavy and barely stands out, so in my rating, it’s 100% recommended. Versatility = 10 (for anything), Longevity = 8 (about 6 hours), Sillage = 8 (at least 2 meters), Price = 10 (not expensive), Total = 9 (you can buy it blind).

Fresh, citrusy, and slightly sweet. It’s super versatile and suitable for any age. I’ve worn it at the office and for sports, receiving praise in both settings from men and women. I’ve recommended it, and they were delighted because it smells good on everyone, isn’t heavy, and doesn’t stand out too much. Totally recommended. Versatility 10 (any occasion), Longevity 8 (approx. 6 hours), Sillage 8 (minimum 2 meters), Price 10 (not expensive), Total 9 (worth buying blind).

A perfume that feels vintage but isn’t. It starts citrusy, then abruptly shifts a few minutes later to a green, spicy sensation where pepper, oakmoss, and rosemary shine. By the hour, a base of patchouli, iris, and woods wraps around you; it’s very calming. I recommend it, giving it an 8/10.

It’s not a perfume that leaves you speechless or surprises you, but it delivers—it’s good. It smells citrusy and spicy without annoying anyone. Ideal for spring and summer. The best part is that it lasts long and has great initial projection; it’s above average for fresh and aquatic perfumes in terms of longevity.

It’s not impressive or surprising, but it delivers. It smells good, doesn’t bother anyone, and is citrusy and spicy. Ideal for spring and summer. The best part is that it lasts long and projects well in the first hours; it’s above average for fresh and aquatic scents.

This perfume was a gift from my great-uncle, an almost 80-year-old banker who left me books, this cologne, and the lotion. I’d never tried a Zegna until I happened to use it and absolutely loved it. It’s perfect for everyday office wear, giving a sense of security, presence, and cleanliness. I’ll definitely buy it again. I think the moss, wood, and musk are what make it special, plus the price is very fair for the quality. If you’re looking for something comfortable and affordable, this is your option.

I inherited this perfume from a great-uncle, an 80-year-old banker who left me books, this cologne, and this lotion. I’d never tried a Zegna lotion until I stumbled upon it by chance, and it pleasantly surprised me. It’s the perfect scent for the office every day; it exudes confidence, presence, and cleanliness. I’ll definitely buy another bottle. I think the moss, wood, and musk are the key elements, plus the price is great for the quality. If you’re looking for something comfortable and affordable, this is the option.

A short review, as this perfume deserves: it smells good but doesn’t last. It’s 100% generic, with nothing relevant or standout. I’ve read others love the bottle, but to me, it looks simple and bad-tasting. Anyway… just to get rid of it quickly.

Z by Zegna is Mediterranean and youthful. At first, it reminds you of old perfumes, but within minutes, it leaves a dominant spicy freshness. It’s an elegant fresh water that is spicy. The base notes aren’t very noticeable, so it’s better for sunny days and open spaces, where it reaches its full potential. I tested it in cold weather, and it feels strange and not very striking for fall or winter, plus it takes a long time to evolve. On my skin, it lasts 7 hours, projecting for 4, then stays close to the skin. I think it’s fine as is; if it projected more, the base notes would become too strong quickly, turning into a shocking spice bomb. Very good perfume.

Z by Zegna is a Mediterranean, youthful perfume. At first, it reminds you of certain old perfumes, but that feeling doesn’t last; a few minutes later, it evolves into a dominant spicy freshness. That’s it: a perfectly spiced fresh water that’s elegant. The base notes aren’t very noticeable, so it’s better to wear it on sunny days and in open spaces for the freshness and because the notes reach their fullness in the sun. I tested it in cold weather, and it felt dissonant and unremarkable for autumn or winter because it takes a long time to evolve. Its longevity on my skin is 7 hours, projecting for 4 hours and then close to the skin. I think it’s fine; if it had more projection, the heat would quickly amplify the base notes, turning it into a very jarring spice bomb. A great perfume.

I perceive it as a fresh and elegant aroma, quite citrusy at first. The dry-down is marvelous and feels more mature, woody, yet still elegant. It’s true that it doesn’t last long—about two or three hours projecting well, then another two close to the skin, and that’s it. It’s a pity because it could have been one of my favorites; I think it’s ideal for hot days.
danielfortu
Very fresh, subtle fragrance with its own light, elegant and refined. Perfect for daytime use in spring and summer. Good projection for the first two hours, then drops close to the skin but remains perceptible. On my skin, it lasts almost ten hours. It’s not overpowering and puts me in a great mood. I recommend it for the office, the cinema, or enclosed spaces. I give it a 7 out of 10.
fred
Very clean, a blended aroma of orange and walnut that makes it stand out from the other perfumes in the same line. I consider it useful for cold seasons.

Fresh and rich, smells almost exactly like CK Free. I enjoy it, but it barely reaches others; if I apply too much, the charm fades quickly.
beto_ruiz
Z by Zegna is Mediterranean, citrusy, spicy, and woody. It opens like a sea breeze with bergamot and rosemary, followed by nutmeg, pepper, and an elegant musk. It smells great, better than others in its class, but it fades fast and isn’t very noticeable. I like it for summer or fall, but that makes me hesitate to buy it.
derkaiser83
The best part is the bottle. The scent is good, not as generic as other designer fragrances, but the longevity and projection are an insult. I don’t understand how they release fragrances that last a mere breath.
WifredoSilva78
The bottle looks gorgeous in its case with a sober design, and I thought, ‘I have to try it’… well, it smells like 99.9% of designer fragrances, something that fades in two minutes. Three noses to create this? Prfff, I’d surely make something better with blind ingredients.
WifredoSilva78
The bottle looks very sober and beautiful in the store… well, the scent is the same as 99.9% of designer perfumes, and it’s gone in two minutes. Three sprays for this? Pfft, I’d definitely do better blind.
priethcallas
At first, it smells like soft citrus, like grapefruit and bergamot, with a touch of rosemary. Then comes white pepper, nutmeg, and musk with patchouli and wood. The opening is the best—elegant with better bergamot than other Zegna scents. I prefer the Intense version, which is more interesting. Due to the spicy notes, it’s for mild winter or intermediate seasons. It works well at the office, lasts a decent amount of time, but doesn’t project much. Ideal for young people or those not so young, for daytime. It’s too short for parties or night outings.
