If you like patchouli, this is a good option because it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg like it usually does. I tried it quickly at a noisy place before and didn’t pay attention, but yesterday when I wore it properly, I realized it’s not for me. I just don’t like raw patchoulis at all. That minty, earthy scent is way too overwhelming for me. It’s true that after many hours it gets better, the notes shine, and the longevity is insane, but it’s just not my cup of tea.
Patchouli is present from start to finish. At first, it smells a bit citrusy due to the bergamot, and the patchouli is somewhat mentholated, fresher than earthy. Gradually, it becomes spicier, very cinnamon. It smells like deep, dense patchouli without being too earthy, giving a sense of high quality. The hop adds a resinous touch, while the florals and woods round it out. On my skin, it performs amazingly; I can smell it at full strength for hours, and the longevity is incredible. I see it as ideal for fresh days and it’s totally unisex. This perfume by Cecile Zarokian has seemed excellent to me. The scent, quality, projection, and longevity… I have nothing to say. From start to finish, it smells top-notch. One of the best patchoulis I’ve tried, and I’d say one of the best perfumes overall.
