  • Begins with patchouli, avoiding the overly earthy or dark notes like those in Lorenzo Villoresi. Afterward, the amber gains body with subtle floral hints of rose and geranium. Vanilla wraps it all up, keeping patchouli and amber in the background. Longevity is solid, about 4 to 6 hours with good dry projection. I consider it unisex, with a stronger masculine lean. Recommended for cold climates and evening outings.

Starts with patchouli, but without that earthy, dark vibe found in other brands like Lorenzo Villoresi. Then the amber settles in with an almost imperceptible floral touch of rose and geranium. Finally, vanilla takes over, pushing patchouli and amber into the background. The longevity is good, lasting around 4 to 6 hours with decent dry-down projection. I see this as unisex, leaning more masculine, perfect for cold weather and night outs.

I love it. It’s an ambered patchouli with floral nuances of rose and geranium over a slightly musky vanilla base. It comes across as sweet and earthy, with chocolate undertones and a dry edge. It reminds me a lot of Mazzolari’s Patchouli. Great performance, ideal for autumn and winter and for nighttime wear. Longevity is durable and the trail is heavy.

I like it. Opening of an ambered patchouli, with floral nuances of rose and geranium, on a slightly musky vanilla base. It’s sweet and earthy, with chocolate memories at some points and a dry touch. It reminded me a lot of Mazzolari’s Patchouli. Good performance. For autumn and winter, for the night. Long-lasting longevity, heavy trail.

A Gentleman perfume, distinguished, sumptuous, luxurious. A slightly boozy opening where its notes combust, leaving behind the citrus that introduces this melody. After the first minute, you clearly notice an elegant, modern, and sophisticated patchouli, adorned with amber, vanilla, and musk, giving it a creamy and minty texture, really very good. What can I say about the Jovoy house? They have three jewels, and this is undoubtedly one of them. This perfume is for more experienced people, as it’s not the typical stuff; it goes one step further in complexity. I see it for all seasons except summer, in formal outfits, and for men over 30. Scent 5.5/10, Trail 6/10, Longevity 7/10, Projection 6.5/10.

A distinguished, sumptuous, and luxurious gentleman’s fragrance. The opening is slightly boozy, where the citrus intro gives way to a melody. After a minute, an elegant, modern, and sophisticated patchouli shines, adorned with amber, vanilla, and musk, creating a creamy and mentholated texture. Jojoy has three gems, and this is one of them. It’s for experienced people, not your typical scent, and it has great complexity. I’d say it’s for all seasons except summer, suitable for formal occasions, and for men over 30.

  • I bought it based on a review. It has a lot of patchouli, to the point where it can get a bit prickly due to its dominance. It’s a sweet fragrance. If you’re not a patchouli fan, I wouldn’t recommend it. It has a great trail and longevity, but it borders on being too feminine. I don’t recommend buying it blind; if you have doubts, better to try a decant so you aren’t disappointed. From my perspective, the price is a bit high for what I expected.

  • I bought it based on a review. It has a strong patchouli aroma, which dominates until it tends to get a bit sharp due to excess. It’s a sweet-leaning fragrance. If you’re not a patchouli fanatic, I wouldn’t recommend it. It has a very good trail and longevity. It leans feminine. I absolutely do not recommend it for blind buys; if you have doubts, better try a decant to avoid disappointment. From my point of view, the price is a bit high for what I expected.

It’s a sweet, almost cloying scent, but of high quality. The longevity is well above average, perhaps one of the most potent fragrances I’ve tried. In my opinion, it’s unisex, though it leans more feminine. I smell more amber and vanilla than patchouli. It’s very similar to Patchouli Reminiscence, but here there’s a mentholated vibe in the opening. In my experience, Psychedelique is more potent and longer-lasting than Reminiscence, although the latter is more attractive if you’re looking for more patchouli at the start. They dry down the same. The longevity of Psychedelique is surprising; it provides constant companionship.

It’s a quite sweet, almost cloying scent, but of GREAT quality (longevity far above average and perhaps one of the most potent fragrances I’ve tried). In my judgment, it’s unisex, but leaning feminine. I smell the amber and vanilla much more than the patchouli. It’s very similar to Patchouli Reminiscence, but here there’s a minty vibe in the opening. In my experience, Psychedelique is more potent and longer-lasting than Reminiscence (which is already potent). Still, considering the abyssal price difference and the almost non-existent aroma differences, I’d lean toward Reminiscence because you feel more patchouli at the start. They dry down the same. But I emphasize that the longevity of Psychedelique is surprising; it’s one of the few fragrances that generates a constant sense of ‘company’ throughout its entire duration.

  • With this brew, my mind goes wild and I see a thousand colors; this beautiful narcotic alters my consciousness. All the notes have their weight, but the protagonists are patchouli and amber. In recent years, I’ve been rediscovering patchouli, and this is the most elegant one I’ve encountered. With it, I feel in the darkness of a forest wearing a high-fashion evening gown. Although it has a seductive and slightly wild touch. Magnificent performance.

  • molletmod.73

This is a postmodern niche recreation of patchouli: earthy, potent, heavy, and old-school, the kind from the 70s house Reminiscence that’s easy to find (it was and is totally unisex) for about $70 for 100ml. If you want to add a personal touch, you mix it with vanilla, flowers, vetiver, oud, or leather—whatever comes out of your hole. You layer it with your other favorite perfume and run. You save a fortune. It’s a bargain. Health and luck, and pass the buck because it already smells like a fingernail and things are getting tight.

  • This fragrance is a hit. It’s long-lasting and the scent is frankly good. In my opinion, it’s for men over 40 and for when it’s cold.

  • A classic patchouli. Not much to add. I like earthy, dense, and chocolatey patchoulis. If I stick my nose in too far, I detect geranium, some amber that gives it a creamy touch, and deep down, a ravishing, sexy vanilla. Overall, it’s a masculine scent from tip to toe, sexy and classic. Good longevity and a heavy trail.

  • Magdalena Maria

Patchouli is like a Spanish omelet: it seems like the same thing, but some versions shine above the rest, and this is one of them. It stands out for its voluptuousness and generosity, making it velvety, balanced, and balsamic to the bone. I clearly smell the rose, a discrete vanillin, and a witty conversation with the patchouli. It gives the sensation of autumn nuts; it doesn’t smell like roasted chestnuts, but it makes you feel like you’re standing in front of them waiting for your cone. It’s the throbbing orange of the embers. At the same time, it’s sensual and secretive. It’s a marvel.

  • I’ll admit, I was fooled by the name into expecting something bold, but it turns out to be distinguished and elegant. This is where I learned to love patchouli: it starts fresh and minty, then shifts to earthy and chocolatey, with a hint of cheese so subtle it’s not scary. It’s dissected patchouli from start to finish. Complex within its minimalism, one of my favorites, and it changes depending on how close or far you hold it. It manages to avoid that typical plastic feel of other scents. While patchouli is usually just a base, here they strip it bare and take it seriously. In Chile, the word is used to refer to cheap colognes, so it’s a pleasure to slap ignorance with this. It’s elegant, but not formal; it’s cheerful, like a 60s hippie who’s now a design professor, with his beanie and cane, a world incomprehensible to the average person.
