  • Its dry, woody opening reminds me of Private Label, another perfume created by Cécile Zarokian, but after a few minutes it takes a totally different path, keeping that woody base but with a creamier, fruitier heart. From there until the end, it’s practically linear but never boring. The red fruits join saffron and amber alongside the woody base to create a well-balanced scent, without excess sweetness or too much dryness. Longevity can be deceptive, as carrying many synthetic molecules (acknowledged by Zarokian) can cause anosmia in some people. I personally used it twice, and the first time I smelled it for fewer hours than the second. As an anecdote, the first time when I stopped smelling it, my partner told me I still smelled quite strong. Anyway, I don’t complain about its longevity or projection, although some might find it a bit weak. I see it as totally unisex and suitable for any climate except excessive heat. Personally, I like it quite a bit. I find it quite original (minus the first 5 minutes) with good performance on my skin. Slightly synthetic scent but in a good way, and at a price not excessively high compared to most new niche perfumes. Anyway, I recommend trying it before buying.

  • The dry opening is woody and reminiscent of Private Label, another Cecile Zarokian, but within minutes it changes lanes: it keeps the wood but the heart turns creamy and fruity. From there, it’s fairly linear but never boring. The red fruits blend with saffron, amber, and that woody base to create a very balanced scent, avoiding both excessive sweetness and dryness. Performance can be misleading; due to the many synthetic molecules (as Zarokian notes), some people may experience anosmia. I’ve worn it twice: the first time it lasted shorter, but my partner said it was still detectable. I’m not complaining about the longevity or projection, though some might find it light. I see it as unisex and suitable for any climate except extreme heat. I really like it—it’s original (if you ignore the first 5 minutes) and has good performance. Slightly synthetic but in a positive way, and at a reasonable price for a new niche brand. Try it before buying.

  • It has clear reminiscences of Private Label (the one that smells like oud without actually containing or declaring it). This one doesn’t dwell as much on the dry, smoky, leathery drydown because it adds red fruits and amber, which really shine. Also, thanks (I won’t say it too loudly, haha) that the brand isn’t raising prices as aggressively. I only sprayed it once, and it seems to perform well.

  • It has clear reminiscences of Private Label (known for smelling like oud without containing/declaring it). This one doesn’t focus as much on the dry, smoked, woody, and leathery aspects since it adds touches of red fruits and amber that suit it very well. Also, we should thank (I won’t say it too loudly, lol) that the brand isn’t raising prices too much. I only sprayed it once, but it seems to perform well.

Nerotic by Olfactive Lab seems to me a very suggestive and captivating scent, as there are few scents made for the night and conquest, and I have no doubt that this is one of them. It’s mostly leather and woods with very dark red fruits that subtly sweeten the composition and are densified by spices and a smoky touch that gives it a mature and mysterious tone. Worth mentioning that it doesn’t resemble the Tuscan Leather archetype or anything like that, despite sharing notes; this Nerotic goes more towards woods and rounds off towards the dark, not towards the acidic or sweet. Its balance is excellent. It’s true that sometimes it appears slightly synthetic, but it doesn’t bother me at all. I see it as a scent for cold weather, the night, for conquest, and closer to the masculine side. Performance is quite good and aromatic quality is notable. I would definitely own it. Rating: 9/10.

Nerotic by Laboratorio Olfattivo is a suggestive and captivating fragrance; few pull off night and seduction like this. It’s basically leather and woods with very dark red fruits that subtly sweeten the mix, intensified by spices and a smoky touch that adds maturity and mystery. Worth noting that it has nothing to do with the Tuscan Leather archetype despite sharing notes; Nerotic leans more into the woods and the dark side, not the acidic or overly sweet. The balance is excellent. Sometimes it feels a bit synthetic, but it doesn’t bother me. I’d wear it for cold weather, night, and seduction, leaning slightly masculine. Longevity and aromatic quality are standout. I’d definitely own it. Rating: 9/10.

  • It’s a dark, woody syrup, very warm and dry. Sandalwood and wood are wrapped in a light, constant smoke along with something almost medicinal. Syrup. Perhaps it’s because the fruity and floral notes are very present but in a dark and deep way, as if instead of their usual luminosity they project a very nuanced and rich darkness. A syrup of deep, suggestive elegance, with a deep voice. It also has something that reminds me of a very well-stocked library with wooden shelves.

This perfume by Cécile Zarokian seems absolutely spectacular and underrated. An opening with very noticeable red fruits that gradually darken and smolder before settling into a dry, watery wood finish, very elegant for cold seasons. It’s evolutionary, assertive, original, and high quality; it’s my favorite from Olfactive Lab. Very good longevity on my skin, about 8 hours with moderate sillage. The quality/price ratio seems really good, as well as its presentation. Highly recommended.

This Cecile Zarokian perfume is an underrated beast. It starts with intense red fruits that gradually darken and smolder, settling into a superbly elegant woody-leather base perfect for cold weather. It evolves beautifully, feels purposeful, and is top-tier quality—it’s my favorite from Laboratorio Olfattivo. Lasts about 8 hours with moderate sillage. The quality-to-price ratio and packaging are spot on. Highly recommended.

  • A whirlwind of sensuality and mystery. Created by the talented Cécile Zarokian, this fragrance is an experience that captivates me from the first notes of bergamot and red fruits, leaving me hypnotized by its dry amber and leather base. To put it simply, it’s like that black dress everyone has in their closet, but in an olfactory version with a ‘wow’ touch that Zarokian adds with her magic. If I could ‘smell elegance,’ this would be its essence.

  • I liked it. I should also say it reminded me, especially in its heart notes, of another perfume among my favorites; this one doesn’t reach its level, although it’s much cheaper, so the quality/price ratio isn’t bad at all. Top notes are fruity but also have something that gives it a slightly musky and clean softness, or that’s what it conveys to me. Then the heart, which I like the most, is dark: woods, smoke, and darkness. Finally, close to the skin, you can detect that soft musk or clean creaminess, perhaps due to the sandalwood. I must say the notes smell slightly synthetic. I was surprised that its longevity is moderate; or maybe it’s that, or it causes olfactory fatigue because I can’t detect it after a few hours.

  • vladidelmundo

A difficult, complex, dark, gloomy, and dense fragrance where sandalwood, leather, and smoke rule. It’s in the style of Black Afgano but less green and more piercing. Frankly, I don’t think you’ll get compliments with this scent, but as a personal experience, it’s fine, though it doesn’t generate pleasant feelings for me and gives me a slight headache, so I’d only recommend it for people with a strong personality. Maybe the perfect perfume for a goth? Polarizing: you either love it or hate it.

Nothing easy; complex, dark, lugubrious, and dense. Sandalwood, leather, and smoke dominate. It’s like Black Afgano but less green and more piercing. Honestly, I don’t think you can receive compliments wearing this, but as a personal experience, it’s good, even though it doesn’t generate pleasant sensations for me and gives me a slight headache, so I’d only recommend it for people with strong personalities. Maybe the perfect perfume for a goth. Polarizing: you either love it or hate it.

  • First perfume from the brand; at first, I found it hard because I wasn’t familiar with this type of scent. But the more I wear it, the more I like it. It’s dense, mysterious, dark, and complex. I detect a very prominent raspberry and blackberry note that accompanies the entire fragrance, as if it were under a burning ember, adding a smoky touch; everything rests on a leather base that gives it that dense, animalic nuance. It projects a black image, as if the light has faded into a void. Impressive, totally recommended.
