I like it. From the start, a medicinal rose driven by the Oud, with papyrus adding dryness and chamomile a soft sweetness. Like the others by Kurkdjian, it feels more feminine than masculine. It’s quite linear. Quality and performance are unquestionable. Best for autumn and winter, for evening wear. Longevity is very long-lasting, with a heavy sillage.
Simply adorable. It’s not just a perfume; it feels more like a dream or a journey. 100/100 agreeable. It fits perfectly in any situation.
This is the second Oud fragrance from Kurkdjian I’ve tried after Satin Mood, and honestly, I’m sticking with the first one—not because of quality, but personal taste; I prefer Oud with nearly gourmand sweet notes over green or fresh ones. Here, the rose dominates, but it’s not powdery and soft; it’s sharp, backed by the medicinal character of the Oud, which, though subtle and light, lingers throughout, especially after a few minutes. Papyrus and chamomile balance it out, giving it an herbal, dry, and creamy touch that becomes more powdery as it dries down. Reminds me of Armaf’s Shades Wood, Monotheme’s Rose Oud, or Atkinsons’ Save the King. I see it as totally unisex and more wearable at night than during the day, though it could work as a nice companion in winter, on crisp mornings, or spring afternoons. Performance is good. Longevity is very high, projection moderate—even soft for an Oud, which is typical for Kurkdjian. Scent: 7.5, Longevity: 9, Projection: 7, Value: 5, Versatility: 7, Originality: 6, Overall: 7.5

A rough, dry, and sharp rose-Oud combo. Nothing like the brand’s typical hyper-sweetness seen in Satin Mood, which tames the Oud until it’s neutralized. Here, the rose is extremely aggressive at first, then chamomile makes it feel old-world and dignified. The Oud doesn’t smell very natural; I suppose it’s a blend of natural and synthetic. It’s a woody, medicinal accord that blends perfectly with the rose and chamomile. I don’t think the price justifies the quality of the notes. That said, it’s a beautiful and standout composition within the brand. Longevity and projection are more than adequate.

What a classy combo of Oud and Rose. The rose is pink and fresh, with wet, deep nuances of papyrus that sounds like a spicy, green sandalwood. Chamomile doesn’t go unnoticed, adding a touch like cypress or geranium—a top-tier green freshness. I feel more masculine thanks to the papyrus and the oud, which is woody and mineral as MSJ described. I wouldn’t pay $500; definitely max $190. It’s very potent (like Satin Mood); three sprays puts you in beast mode. It complements your oriental options as a fresh, spicy, green pink oud. Now I understand Mr. Francis’s 10/10 reputation. Great perfume!
