  1. Starts with a rough, spiced leather very reminiscent of Tuscan Leather. As it dries down, the tea and labdanum take over, transforming it into an oriental jewel that becomes an elegant, mature skin scent.

  2. Maybe I was looking for a wilder leather, but this felt a bit tamed and lacking some charm, perhaps due to the price. While it has low projection, the longevity is brutal, lasting close to 24 hours.

  3. Bvlgari’s Onekh, launched in 2020, is part of the ‘Le Gemme’ collection inspired by gemstones and ancient cultures. It opens fresh and citrusy with bergamot and lemon, blended with the sweetness of fig. In the heart, neroli and jasmine mingle with white tea and orris root. It settles into a woody base of cedar, vetiver, and musk—warm and long-lasting. It reflects elegance and sophistication; the fresh opening blends with soft florals for a refined touch. The fig adds juicy sweetness, while the woody base gives it a masculine, sturdy vibe. Ideal for men seeking a sophisticated and elegant fragrance. It’s versatile, perfect for work or formal dinners. If you want to stand out with style and personality, give it a try.

It’s a straight-up No Limit$ by Philipp Plein. It hits that style: dirty leather that still maintains impeccable elegance.

  6. Smells really good. The opening is citrusy and spicy, then it darkens into a very wearable leather note—potent but perfectly acceptable. It smells elegant, exclusive, and at the same time fresh and creamy.

Although the website says tangerine and oud, on my skin it’s pure rough but elegant leather. It’s very well-balanced, doesn’t cross into animal territory, and is wearable. The smoky note gives it an archaic mystery, like garments worn by nobles or ancient priests—nothing cheap. It smells of power, lineage, and honor. It’s the scent of a leader, a Templar knight, or Indiana Jones. A paradigmatic leather of noble masculinity, reserved for those with strong spirits.

As Nathalie Lorson said, simple perfumes are the hardest to make; Onekh proves it. It’s complex and profound in its simplicity. It evokes antiquity, mystery, and objects of the past in wood and leather, like an allegory to Pharaonic Egypt. The black and gold obelisk bottle reinforces that royalty. It’s smoky, spicy, resinous, and has extraordinary longevity. Expensive, but spectacular. It’s the most powerful men’s perfume I’ve ever tried.

A brutal fragrance that transports you to another world; exactly what you’re looking for. Onekh is mysterious, elegant, and classy—it never goes unnoticed. It’s a mystical oriental scent evoking ancient Persia and Mesopotamia, with lost woods, top-tier leather, spices, balsams, oud, and resins; rumors say it’s from Laos. Animalic, deep, and primal. The longevity and projection are insane, lasting hours and hours and still going strong. It lasts days on clothes. The obelisk-shaped bottle with a magnetic onyx and gold cap is a showpiece for any living room. The fabric-lined box screams quality. Perfect for fall and winter; if it’s hot, it can be intense, but it pairs beautifully with dresses. Not for kids—I’d say 35 and up, and best for special occasions. It’s not cheap, but given how little you need and the quality of the ingredients, it’s worth it if you’re hunting for this kind of scent.

Incredible fragrance that transports you. It’s mysterious, elegant, and classy. It evokes a mystical East, ancient Persia, lost woods, and top-quality leather with spices and balsams. It’s animalic, deep, and primal, with impressive longevity and projection that lasts days on clothes. The onyx and gold bottle is a piece for the living room. Ideal for autumn and winter or with formal wear. Not for young guys, better suited for 35+. Although it’s not cheap, the quality of the ingredients totally compensates.
