Elegant, distinctive, and powerful. Many compare it to Ombre Nomade, its sibling, but it takes a different path with leather, cocoa, and caramel, making it warmer. Undoubtedly one of Louis Vuitton’s best. 10/10, DO NOT BUY BLINDLY.
Super elegant fragrance. Leather takes the lead, moves through sweetness, and settles into woody notes; I don’t detect any florals. Ideal for night out with a suit or an open shirt 😂. I’ve gotten tons of compliments, and friends keep asking for the name: 10/10. Lasting power is beast mode—it lasts days, yes, days. Projection is insane, and the sillage is no joke. Four sprays (or fewer) lasted 8 to 10 hours. On clothes, it lasts days; my girlfriend even said, ‘my sweater smells like you’ haha. Highly recommend 100%. Just a heads-up: it’s meant to surprise literally, don’t wear it all the time or you lose the impact and it becomes common. 😉😉
Bought a decant; extremely elegant, rich, and complex aroma, nothing commercial. I detected incense, oud, saffron, rose, and something petrolic, spiritual, like a European church. Does it remind you of Ombre Nomade? Yes, for collectors.
Totally elegant fragrance. Leather dominates, passes through sweetness, and finishes on woody notes. I don’t detect the floral aspect or those sparkling notes. Optimal for night, with a suit or an open-collar shirt 😂. I’ve gotten many compliments from girls and friends asking for the name: 10/10. In longevity, it’s a beast: it lasts days, yes, days. Projects a lot, and its trail is no less. Lasts about 8 to 10 hours with 4 sprays (or fewer), and on clothes, for days (a delight); my girlfriend said: ‘my sweater smells like you’. I RECOMMEND IT 100%. Note: it’s for surprising LITERALLY, don’t wear it all the time or it loses impact and becomes common. 😉😉
Nouveau Monde stands out; perhaps it’s one of the most ordered from LV’s initial collection. It’s sweet and woody, with a sweet oud that, combined with the leather, appeals to niche fans. It evokes New World spices: at the start, notes of cocoa, lots of caramel and vanilla mixed with a sweet, ambered oud and a petrolic touch of saffron. It feels like a woody gourmand; the caramel, cocoa, and vanilla with the oud grab you immediately, so I understand why it sells so well. This phase lasts about an hour. Once it dries down, I like it more: the leather shines, cocoa and caramel fade, leaving a coffee-like profile, similar to LV bags. The saffron still gives that petrolic vibe, now muted. It’s elegant, linear, and persistent thanks to the amber notes. Unisex, works day or night, but moderate the dosage to avoid headaches in the heat. To me, it feels more masculine, but I detected rose, so I see it as unisex. High longevity: at 3 hours, it’s subtle and mysterious; at 9 hours, it’s still noticeable as a rooted essence with oud and amber. High price, but worth it if you’re looking for sweet oud with leather. Does it remind you of Ombre Nomade? Not at all; that one has mineral oud, dark as wet stone, while this is distinct.
I’m not sure if it’s my nose, but I get a freshly polished shoe scent, and I have to say, I absolutely hate it.
I don’t know if it’s my nose, but I smell freshly polished shoes, and honestly, I don’t like it at all.
To me, it’s unique. I’ve been wearing it for 3 months, and on my skin, it’s luxurious. An exotic and addictive aroma, ideal for special outdoor occasions. The downside is that it doesn’t win everyone over, and I’ve received few compliments. In terms of longevity, IT’S A BEAST: on skin, it lasts all day; at 12 hours, you can still catch whiffs, and on clothes, it lasts for days. I detect leather, oud, rose, caramel, vanilla, and patchouli. The projection is good at first, then settles; at arm’s length, it’s still distinguishable.
WOW. Literally the most impactful fragrance of my life, no joke. It’s a raw leather scent, reminiscent of Gucci Guilty Absolute or Au Hasard, mixed with a generous dose of oud and a juicy rose I’ve never smelled before. In the base, bitter vanilla, burnt caramel, and resins round everything out. This isn’t a half-baked perfume; it’s a complete work of art. If you have experience with fragrances, you must try it.

It’s a raw leather vibe, reminiscent of Gucci Guilty Absolute or Au Hasard, with a nice touch of oud and a juicy rose note I’ve never experienced before. The base features bitter vanilla, burnt caramel, and resins that round everything out perfectly. It lacks nothing; it’s a complete work of art. Any perfume lover who appreciates history has to try this.
A perfume masterpiece. It’s not an easy scent, and the first impression might not be a hit, but once you find your way around it, you fall in love. Watch out: the vanilla note isn’t the sweet dessert kind; it’s bitter vanilla combined with caramel oud and leather. It’s worth trying. In my personal opinion, it’s better than Ombre Nomade.
Perfume masterpiece. It’s not easy, and at first glance, it might not please you, but once you find your way around it, you fall in love. One of the most elegant, mature, woody, and badass perfumes I’ve ever smelled. I love it; it’s sophisticated yet rugged enough to wear with boots and a t-shirt or a suit at night. It’s an oud that smells a bit like gasoline; in the opening, it’s spicy, leaning more toward leather, with a sweet resinous undertone and clean fresh notes floating around. SPECTACULAR.
I can’t tell you the olfactory family or notes because you can see that here, but as a final user, it’s perfect for non-hot weather. It lasts incredibly long on my skin, about 10 hours without any issues. For sillage, people have smelled it from two meters away; the secret is to spray it on the back of your neck. I love this scent and highly recommend it, but don’t buy it blindly; I don’t think it’s for everyone.
It shares similarities with its sister, Ombre Nomade, but here offers a more elegant, woody, darker, and less shiny facet. I detect more treated leather at the start, which captivates me. The oud and resinous notes are noticeable. It doesn’t feel as bright or airy as the other; I perceive fewer notes, making it perhaps rounder. That’s why it wins on versatility: perfect for night and formal wear. It denotes class. In the dry down, the leather is accompanied by a sweet base note that gives it strength. A perfect example of less is more. Like any LV product, it’s overpriced, but hey, how good is it. Elegant, different, ideal for cold weather with optimal performance. I hope to own it someday.
All due respect to Dior, Fahrenheit is well-crafted and rounded. It’s for specific moments when you want people to know you’re a man and you’re in charge. No woke agenda. A negotiation between men, and your perfume takes the lead. It’s not rough or crude, but it’s powerful. I think it’s incredible.
This is what desire smells like when dressed in luxury. Not all perfumes are discovered by chance; some, like Nouveau Monde, are the result of an obsession: mine with leather. I’d been searching for fragrances where this ingredient was the protagonist and landed on this LV creation, of which I only knew the bottle and some reviews. I’d never smelled it, but the elegant bottle and comments about its complex aroma captivated me. Enough to jump in and buy it blind. A risky bet that turned into one of the biggest hits in my collection. I remember the moment: I stopped everything, called my partner, and we opened the box together. It was symbolic because what I smelled didn’t resemble anything before and exceeded my expectations. Nouveau Monde is warm, mysterious, addictive, dense, and full of nuances. A balance of contrasts that makes it a sensory jewel. Obvious notes: leather (with a cobbler-like facet but tasty and refined), oud (which here doesn’t bite, it seduces), and a sweet accord where vanilla, cocoa, and creamy incense add sensuality. Accompanied by dusty rose and saffron that color it red and gold, like a velvet perfume. What’s curious is that it moves and impacts. In my blind reaction videos, it generates immediate surprise and phrases like ‘this smells like a millionaire’. It has the ability to stop time. What does it smell like? It’s complicated: it’s leather, oriental, gourmand, woody, floral… the balance of everything impossible. On skin, it’s dense, warm, and enveloping. In heat, more animal and wild; in cold, more mysterious and elegant. Changeable but fascinating. Projection and longevity: a real beast. It projects for hours, and you have to be careful with the amount; one over-application saturates. But with moderation, it leaves an unforgettable mark. Literally, there are clothes that smell like Nouveau Monde days later. When do I use it? I reserve it for special occasions. Not just because of the price, but because it’s an invisible armor that changes my mood. Perfect for events, night dates, or intimate dinners with restraint. Also in autumn or winter to enjoy its power. Would I recommend it? Yes, but not blindly. It doesn’t seek to please everyone: it has personality, density, strength. But if it loves you, it will love you forever. In my collection, it holds a privileged place. It’s an olfactory declaration. In summary, it represents a luxury perfume: character, exclusivity, depth, and quality without compromise. For me, it was my first introduction to LV and remains the most memorable.
Definitely reminds me of Ombre Nomade, but for me, it smells a lot like the Toscanos: pure Italians made of fire-cured Kentucky tobacco, and that’s exactly what it smells like. I love it.
I bought Imagination and got a decant of this perfume as a gift, and honestly… it’s terrible. Super potent (one spray on my wrist, and two hours later I had to wash it off because I couldn’t take it). Honestly, I don’t get why people romanticize these scents; it smells like aged liquor mixed with rose cream. If you want to repel people, this is your perfume. Just kidding, seriously, there are people who are human salmon and love going against the grain; this scent would fit because it repels anyone who gets close. You can’t really grab a hold of it; it doesn’t even seem like perfume. 0/10 in my opinion.
For me, my favorite Louis Vuitton fragrance. Yes, it reminds me of Ombre Nomade, but Nouveau Monde has something I can’t quite explain… it’s like premium whiskey. You enjoy it, it hits the spot, and you want another. It’s a shame that in Argentina it’s hard and expensive to get. That’s why I count the days until vacation… I’m going to buy 20 more bottles without thinking twice. A jewel, an addiction. P.S.: This scent makes many girls swoon 👌

Sebastián, the one down here. With that pre-teen taste I read in your profile and that habit of blindly buying clones, it’s clear you don’t get the quality of an opulent perfume. I’m not judging you, you just don’t know anything yet. Come on, man, you’ll figure it out eventually.
