The only similarity with Tom Ford Noir Extreme is that they are sweet. This one is way off in the spices. Many reviewers sold the idea that they were similar, and the fanboys come to hammer home the resemblance to TF NE. As a user of TFNE, I say to you: GO AND TRY THE PERFUMES, JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES.
I don’t know what’s going on with first impressions, but the first time I tried this perfume, it seemed horrible. The second time (same bottle), it seemed like a completely different fragrance. It’s a very well-balanced scent between fresh, sweet, and elegant. It’s like a fresh candy between spicy notes like star anise and a Coca-Cola, but covered in iris that makes it more formal and elegant without being too serious. I think it’s perfect to wear with a suit without being scandalous or trying to draw attention, but yes, creating a very pleasant personal space for others; it smells great in the air.
It’s a very particular perfume. I interpret it as if they blended Dior Homme Intense, Givenchy Gentleman, PR Pure XS, and a pinch of JPG Le Male Le Parfum in a blender. It has tons of iris, a vibe a bit like Coca-Cola, makeup, and oriental spices (star anise?) with a certain sweetness. It’s a dense, exotic, sophisticated aroma that evokes elegance; wear it with a shirt or suit jacket. I don’t see it for daytime or just a t-shirt. Cool weather is a must. Regarding longevity, it’s quite good. Being dense and dark, it holds up well for the first few hours, then stays in a personal bubble that isn’t annoying until 8 or 9 hours. On clothes, it has great fixation. It’s not beast mode, but three times more potent than JPG Le Male Le Parfum.
Original perfume, elegant for cool weather. Let it macerate after the first use, and it smells amazing. Value for money, an 8.
I bought it a month ago and I have to say, what a delight!!! Its warm, sweet, and slightly spicy aroma gives a sense of well-being and harmony; I can wear it all day. I have to mention that it reminds me of a drink I hadn’t thought of in ages: it reminds me of Chai Tea! A delight, I recommend it so much!!!
I love this perfume; I think it’s about to become a blind buy staple. Its dominant note is amber, but it’s quite calm thanks to the iris, which gives it that makeup or women’s lipstick vibe. For a date or formal event, it’s a showstopper.
This fragrance is spectacular; I’ve never smelled Tom Ford Noir. Talking about the scent itself: it has a very pleasant cinnamon, not overwhelming or spicy, mixed with spices and a slightly caramelized amber that gives it the right harmony, not cloying at all. I sense the vanilla is subtle and the leather is barely there. It’s for an elegant, serious, and bold man. For the night.
Pleasant surprise, this perfume smells great. It doesn’t project too much and its longevity hovers around 4-5 hours, but it’s a beast. For 20 euros, it’s a great option.
This is how I want to smell when I’m older. It’s the Arabic fragrance that comes closest to a niche, quality scent. It doesn’t project much or have a trail (almost nothing), but the longevity is incredible (lasted on my skin until the next day; if I hadn’t showered, it would have lasted all day). It’s very intimate, good for dates, romantic, nocturnal, and inviting. Not for kids or teens; it’s mature and elegant. But it’s so good I wear it to sleep. Very delicious. I like it because almost no one wears it, and few men dare to smell masculine nowadays… everything is sweet and unisex.
Love at first sniff 😍😍😍. Unique fragrance. I tried Tom Ford Noir Extreme, and yes, they are similar, but it’s not a dupe or clone: they go down the same path. The iris aroma… wow, what a delight. It’s the first powdery iris I own, and it’s a unique sensation. From the start, it welcomes you with a warm, sweet embrace thanks to the amber and vanilla duo, vibrating with a cozy feel and spicy touches, plus super potent projection. After a few minutes, a refined, powdery iris takes the lead, while the gentle vanilla stays in the background, adding body. As it dries down, an elegant leather joins the iris, making it unique and addictive; impossible to stop enjoying every time it throws off bursts. I highly recommend it for special occasions, cloudy days, fresh and rainy weather, or formal events where you want to stand out with a refined, interesting aroma.
First off, the listed notes aren’t accurate. According to Armaf: top notes of tangerine, neroli, and cardamom; heart of orange blossom and rose; base of vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and woods. On my skin, it starts spicy with a citrus touch. The spice lingers throughout, while the floral aspect comes through in the middle. As it dries down, it shines brighter: vanilla and amber without being cloying. Longevity is top-tier, but projection and sillage are almost non-existent. It’s not bad; it’s for close proximity and elegance. For the price, it’s great, smells delicious, isn’t an overused scent, and offers decent performance.
It might remind you of Tom Ford Noir Extreme, but it smells more like a cologne than a perfume, with more vanilla and oriental spices. It won’t smell identical to what it imitates, but it’s very good.
This is a very well-crafted powerhouse. Without a doubt, one of the best in terms of quality and price on the market. I tried the Tom Ford version after using Odyssey Homme, and on my skin, they smell exactly the same from start to finish. The performance isn’t beast mode, but it performs well above average.
Odyssey Homme combines elegance and strength with a modern, oriental warmth. From the first spray, you notice amber and spicy notes, with a slightly sweet vanilla and dark wood base. It’s intense yet balanced, with a sophistication that surprises for its price. Ideal for cool nights or events where you want to project confidence without being too formal. It has excellent longevity and a trail that leaves a mark. It proves that luxury doesn’t always have to be expensive.
What a relief to read a review that ends by saying using the fragrance makes you feel like the best version of yourself. For me, that’s what it’s all about: well-being. No compliments, flattery, or pleasantries, nor those trivialities. It’s about feeling good about oneself, and nothing else matters.
I should have grabbed this sooner; I’ve always wanted it but always opted for other things. Today I received it, and the truth is, at first sniff, wow, what a great perfume—it’s a mix between Tom Ford Noir Extreme and Spicebomb with a touch of iris. Using it makes me feel like the best version of myself.
Masculine and elegant, it smells of powder and sweet spices like cloves or cinnamon, with cardamomo. It’s sober and carries a serious vibe, not for wearing with bright colors. Works well from casual to formal. Despite being affordable, it’s a great perfume: discreet but long-lasting. Perfect for dates or night outings to break away from common citrusy and overly sweet scents.
Elegant masculine aroma, gives me the feeling of a soft, rich, and relaxing incense. I love it, but it’s not your typical men’s perfume, so I recommend testing it first.
I bought it because I’m a fan of Tom Ford Noir Extreme, but this doesn’t resemble the original at all. It’s intense, spicy with iris, elegant, and mature—not for young guys. The amber and vanilla are barely noticeable because the spices overwhelm them. Noir Extreme wins me over with its Kulfi note: creamy vanilla and spicy amber, an absolute masterpiece. In Odyssey HOMME EDP, there’s no Kulfi, and the vanilla-amber blend isn’t as creamy as in the original.
An exotic olfactory experience on another level; it smells like a designer perfume in an Arab bottle for just $23. I’ve received so many compliments that people stopped me to ask the name and how good I smell. Nothing beats letting your scent speak for itself and leave an unforgettable mark. A great scent creates attraction, as if two worlds complement each other through desire. It leaves a sublime magnetism that is only felt when all senses are at their peak. My honest opinion: if you made it this far, it’s your sign. Don’t wait any longer and do yourself a favor—force yourself to own it. If you want to thank me later, don’t hesitate to come by; I’d be happy to receive it.
Ordered it in November and it just arrived. I’ve already received two compliments, even though I only sprayed it on my arm and haven’t left the house. It smells different from anything I’ve tried before. My wife adores it, and that’s what matters to me: I like it, and she likes it. The rest is just profit. Very interesting scent.
Picked this up on Black Friday. It’s warm, sweet, spicy, and has a dark touch. The opening surprised me—delicious and unique—but it evolves a lot until it’s almost identical to CK One Shock. I tested it on both arms: CK One Shock opens with a minty freshness, while Odyssey Homme is creamy and wonderful at first, but they dry down to the same scent. The difference is that Odyssey has a bit more spice. I’ve never tried the Tom Ford everyone talks about, but no further proof is needed: ‘Odyssey Homme is the Arabic vanilla version of a sweet amber scent like CK One Shock’.
Charming! Safe blind buy; I rarely buy Arab perfumes and this is the second one I’ve liked. It has a sweet opening but isn’t cloying, with a very well-executed vanilla. It doesn’t smell like that typical cheap Arab perfume. Its potential lasts 4 to 5 hours, then just reapply and you’re good. I bought a 200ml bottle for about $37.
I grabbed a 60ml blind buy for about €15 and thought, ‘cheaper than Zara, might as well try it.’ The top notes reminded me of CK ONE Shock for Him, but more balanced with leather and iris touches that add real interest. It dries down beautifully into an ideal masculine scent for cold weather. I’ll keep testing it… Okay, with 8 sprays I absolutely love the smell, but it projects little on my skin (1.5 hours) and lasts just 4 hours close to the skin. Conclusion: you can buy this blind, you’ll surely like it, but you’ll need to reapply. Since I don’t like smelling like a walking billboard all day, I know it doesn’t last long.
The top notes are great; people say it’s a Tom Ford dupe and I’m not surprised. I’ll definitely be buying it again.
Amazing amber, leather, and Arab spice scent, perfect for men. It reminds me of Asad or Tom Ford Noir Extreme, but the longevity is insane for the price: it lasted all day on my skin. If you like this style, buy it now; at $42, it’s an absolute beast and highly recommended.
Odyssey Homme gave me mixed but generally positive vibes. It doesn’t drive me crazy personally, but I admit it’s well-made, smells great, and works very well with people. On my skin, it stands out from the start with a warm amber sweetness, a marked spicy touch, and vanilla that adds warmth. I don’t clearly detect floral, iris, leather, or jasmine notes; for me, it’s a warm, sweet, and spicy journey with a curious sensation reminiscent of sweet and spiced Coca-Cola. It’s pleasant, modern, and easy to wear. Although it’s not a must-have for me, I’ve received compliments, which shows it projects well. The performance more than delivers: around 9 hours on skin with good projection and a pleasant trail—present but not annoying. It makes an impression and leaves a good one. I see it as very versatile for fall and winter, suitable for work, outings, or dates, since its spicy sweetness is pleasant and easy to enjoy without being invasive. Its strong suit is the quality-to-price ratio, especially regarding performance. In short: a sweet, amber, spicy, and vanilla perfume that delivers, is pleasant, and performs very well. Rating: 8.
As my first Eau de Parfum, I was overwhelmed on the first day and thought I’d made a blind mistake, but by the next day, once I got used to the potency, it seemed spectacular. The opening is rich and evolves beautifully with its heart and base notes. I recommend it for events or night outs, but not for teenagers like me; it’s a fragrance that’s hard to wear when young, but it’s definitely an excellent perfume.
The Odyssey Home Black is my first perfume from this brand and without a doubt one of the best. What I love is the longevity; it lasted over 6 hours on my skin. It’s sweet and pleasant from the opening to the dry down; that vanilla with amber smells delicious. What I’d improve is the projection, which is moderate, but otherwise it left nothing to be desired. Without a doubt, it’s one of the best dupes for Tom Ford Noir Extreme; if you’re looking for a cheap alternative, it’s very good and affordable. It’s a safe blind buy and is seriously underrated. Final note: 9/10, a great perfume, it just needs a bit more projection.
This is a beast of a fragrance that gives you way more than its price tag.
One of my favorite Armaf scents, and I’ll definitely be buying it again. I picked it up on Notino for €18, and almost three years later, it still performs incredibly well: over 8 hours on skin and lasting days on clothes. I guess it’s from one of the early batches. As they say, here’s my take: I’ve smelled Tom Ford, and this stays in its lane, but it reminds me of a flanker of JPG Le Male EDP and one of Valentino. The leather note is subtle; what hits me most is the amber that’s present all the time. I detect a light vanilla, but the key is that powdery iris that makes it addictive. It has presence, leaves a trail, and people tell me I smell good, though what matters is what I feel. If you find it for under €30, don’t think twice: great value for the price.
Spices, vanilla, and amber dominate. I barely notice the iris. But it projects nothing, has no sillage, and minimal longevity. Every day it’s harder to buy blind if you let yourself be led by reviews. The best is to try it first. Scent: 8/10, Projection: 4/10, Longevity: 2/10, Price: 9/10.
What a surprise! Without a doubt one of the best Arabic fragrances and the best in my collection. Odyssey Pour Homme is very masculine; it opens with an explosion of spices and delicious vanilla, reminding me of spicy chai, a gourmand opening. The amber lasts all day, but it evolves into something more powdery with elegant and sophisticated iris thanks to the soft leather that doesn’t bother. I’ve been complimented a lot, even getting confused with Givenchy Gentleman EDP, Prada L’Homme Intense, or Valentino Uomo Intense. Great because online they say it’s inspired by those. I also read it’s inspired by Tom Ford Noir Extreme but I don’t know if it’s similar since I haven’t tried it. If you like elegant scents, it’s for you. I’m in love and will buy more bottles. For iris lovers, it’s instant love. I like the quality; the people who compliment me think it’s more expensive and are surprised when they find out it’s this one (sometimes I play with expectations and it’s funny to see their reactions). Splendid performance: projects well for 4-5 hours and lasts all day, about 8-9 hours. I bought it in Nov 2025 with a batch from early 2024. I think Armaf has that plus of maceration and oxygenation; without much time in the collection its performance improved and will keep improving.
I didn’t like it at all. I feel it smells very much like cinnamon, giving off a car air freshener vibe like ‘new car’. Maybe that’s why I didn’t like it.
Rich and rich, nobody says it’s very similar to its white sibling. I have both and the opening is very similar; then this one fades and leaves an exquisite powdery vanilla. You can feel the leather but very lightly, almost imperceptible, and the spices give it an extra touch of masculinity. Honestly, if you put it on at $200k and say it’s designer, I’d believe you. I’ve tried some so it brings back memories, but I don’t know which one it is now. Price 10, scent 8.5. I’ll comment on performance later since I’m just starting to test it.
Less credible every time, Fragrantica. On the Armaf website the notes are: top mandarin, neroli, cardamom; heart rose, jasmine; base sandalwood, vanilla, amber, wood. Here they list iris, leather, jasmine??? Based on the fact that it has a different vibe than Tom Ford Noir Extreme, the official notes seem closer to the latter…
Good. I saw the app a year ago and stopped by a store; I found it for $20 when it used to be $26, so I bought it. First impression: rich vanilla with an amber touch that makes it creamy. Over time, that vanilla remains with a slight leather note that adds elegance. It lasts 6 hours on skin without staining and projects normally. I see it as a winter scent, obviously.
Not for everyone, but it’s decent.
Just tried a sample and it’s addictive. Smells like a piece of clean, dusty leather bathed in vanilla (very masculine and dark). It doesn’t smell boring; if you’re over 18, wear it at night or in the cold. Good longevity and a personal sillage that hugs you a lot. I’ll keep testing and will update later.
Update: Smells great, it’s dusty leather with vanilla, but it doesn’t evolve; right after applying it’s sweeter, then it settles. The downside: poor projection and just okay longevity (about 3 hours). The trail is minimal, only noticeable at intimate distance. Don’t buy it blind; it’s not worth it for the performance and it’s not for everyone.
