Christmas gift! Jacques Cavallier really nailed this proposal. The osmanthus, one of my favorite floral notes, does not disappoint. Imagine walking through the countryside at dawn, with dew still in the air and the sweet scent of flowers mixing with the moisture; a sparkling touch of neroli and the subtlety of jasmine transport me to the spring fields of Scotland, just after winter, when pollinating insects are at work. It’s ambrosia for the nose. For me, it’s not just a floral, but a full olfactory experience. I’ve never been a huge fan of this house, but this collection caught my attention so much that my partner gave this amazing gift a 10. In my opinion, it’s not just another floral—something both men and women can enjoy. The opening is delicate, subtle with green nuances but without losing its floral essence; the osmanthus is definitely noticeable in a decent way, not overpowering, but I do enjoy its astringent aroma. The trail is moderate, nothing extraordinary. I’d say it’s more for personal enjoyment than for showing off. I definitely recommend it to floral lovers who aren’t afraid to try unique notes.
