Rediscovering Midnight Jasmine was a hit: rich, with a creamy jasmine and that familiar DNA of Oajan or Ambre Narguille (fruits, honey, cinnamon, tonka/vanilla base). The result is good, natural, and balanced, typical of the house. The jasmine adds its touch, but it’s not enough if you already own one of those earlier ones to justify buying it. Still, try it on your skin, where the experience changes as the notes blend. Rating: 8/10, tested on a sample from Gallagher Perfumes.

I bought this blind based on the notes, as I usually do. Now it’s my favorite from the house and ranks among my top 20 perfumes overall. The quality of the notes is key: an opening of blooming jasmine that floods the room and melts into the skin with ripe plum and a seductive, addictive honey. Then the jasmine softens, giving way to rose, sugared vanilla, sandalwood, and cinnamon. It’s delightful to smell all the notes so well crafted. It’s intoxicating, versatile, and unisex (slightly feminine due to the jasmine). I love the packaging: box, bottle, colors, cap—everything is perfect. I don’t recommend buying blind because in my circle, some notes stand out more than others, although the jasmine always dominates.

It’s a sexy perfume. At first, you get the amber, then it flows into dried apple mixed with honey. Definitely, if you like sweet and mature scents, you need this one.

The opening is pink plum, spiced and cozy. Within seconds, a gorgeous jasmine hits you with an amber slap. As minutes pass, apple chips and cinnamon join in, finishing like a warm apple and jasmine pie dusted with cinnamon, sugar, and honey. In the dry down, sandalwood adds a creamy halo alongside soft tonka bean and honey. It’s a very niche scent; I don’t recommend buying blind unless you really love cinnamon in gourmand perfumes. It’s beautifully crafted and balanced, suitable for any weather or occasion except very hot days. Projection is high for the first hour, then drops to moderate, lasting over 8 hours.
