The Gallagher house isn’t my favorite; I usually go for scents from its sister line, Pearlescent, but this September is one of the most horrible compositions I’ve tried this year. An excess and misuse of osmanthus absolute paired with a bitter black tea note that smells more like an earthy infusion of leaves, mud, and dry smoke, plus rancid apricots. Terrible composition, though it performs well—I wouldn’t wish this perfume on my worst enemy.
