An exquisite fragrance, unisex in my experience—meaning a true unisex scent rather than the CK One style. It’s an oriental fragrance that evokes a desert man riding camels with saddlebags full of spices, nuts, dates, myrrh, and more. It’s sweet, but with a subtle sweetness; on my skin, at least, it doesn’t suffocate anyone even after several hours in a car (though we did have the AC on). Buying it was a tough decision, not because I didn’t like it, but because I’d just returned from a trip and my budget was stretched thin, so I had to choose between Meharees and L’Erbolario’s patchouli, leaving the latter for a future purchase. I believe it’s mainly suited for men and women over 25, perfect for daytime wear and especially in cold weather, though in my case, it also works well on warm days.
Exquisite fragrance, unisex in my nose, let’s understand unisex here as an oriental fragrance that takes a man from the desert, transporting in his camel saddlebags full of spices, nuts, dates, myrrh, etc. It’s sweet, but with a subtle sweetness; on my skin, at least, it doesn’t suffocate anyone in a car traveling for several hours (which is what we had on). Buying it was a difficult decision, not because I didn’t like it, but because I had just returned from a trip and my budget was at the limit, so I had to choose between Meharees and the patchouli from L’Erbolario, so the patchouli is pending for a future purchase. I think it’s mainly a scent for men and women over 25, to use during the day and mainly on cold days, but in my case, it also works on warm days.
I wasn’t planning to try it, but the sales associate offered it to me, what a reason! I fell in love with its opening, with a certain spicy and sweet touch that I adored. It’s an oriental perfume without being cloying that you can wear in the morning or at night. It has a powdery touch like most L’Erbolario perfumes.
Smells exactly like the dry-down of Musc Ravageur by Frédéric Malle. I absolutely love it.
It dries down to smell like Frederic Malle’s Musc Ravageur. I love it.
An exquisite, addictive, and versatile spiced vanilla. Makes you feel good, makes you feel elegant. I adored its powdery scent. Lasting power is acceptable: about 7 hours. The downside: its sillage is weak; right after application, it stays right next to the skin.
Exquisite vanilla-cinnamon, addictive and versatile. It makes me feel good and elegant. I loved its powdery scent. Acceptable longevity: about 7 hours. The downside: its trail is weak and stays close to the skin when applied.
I’ve been wearing it since this morning. I’ll tell you, because it’s worth knowing a few things about this perfume, better said, a perfumón!!! The main thing is that you can tell it uses natural ingredients, especially the cinnamon, woods, and musk. It’s very well balanced, highlighting the cinnamon and musk, but you always perceive the rest of the notes, creating a linear accord from the first half hour without excessive evolution. It doesn’t matter, because it’s so clean, rich, and pleasant. I’d say it’s addictive and sensual, with the musk playing its role as a second skin. The opening is sharp on the spicy side. I don’t perceive the citrus notes of bergamot and orange as such, although they help create a very edible, non-gourmand cinnamon. The rose is slightly noticeable to give a tasty, fleeting powdery touch. After 20 minutes, it turns sweet and vanilla-like, and interesting woods come out, like those warmed by the sun, faithful to the bottle and its desert inspirations. Gradually, the musk becomes the protagonist. Clean and sweet. For those who have tried Alyssa Ashley’s Musk, this is it, but more natural, sweeter, younger, and more wearable. As for the similarity to Musc Ravageur, it’s true. The perception is that you’re wearing Frederic Malle’s. It’s less rich in nuances and lacks the dirty edge of Ravageur. It’s its little sister, not in ingredient quality, but in olfactory quality of those nuances and details that are intuited when smelling both, with the huge price difference. It lasts over 5 hours with 5 sprays; I can smell it around me. I’ve received compliments, and it’s been a while since that happened. I recommend it without doubt. I trust it won’t disappoint… A hug to all fragrance lovers!!!
I’ve been wearing it since this morning. I’ll tell you, because I think it’s worth knowing a few things about this perfume, better said, a perfumón. The main thing to highlight is that you can tell it uses very natural ingredients, especially the cinnamon, woods, and musk. In my opinion, it’s very well balanced, highlighting the cinnamon and musk a lot, but always perceiving the contribution of the rest of the notes, creating a very linear accord from the first half hour without excessive evolution. And it doesn’t matter, it’s not a demerit, because it’s so clean, so rich, so pleasant. I’d even say it’s addictive and sensual, with the musk playing its role as a second skin. The opening is sharp on the spicy side. I don’t perceive the citrus notes of bergamot and orange as such, although it’s probable they help perceive a very edible, non-gourmand cinnamon in any case. I dare to say that the rose note is slightly noticeable to give the whole a powdery touch as tasty as it is fleeting. After 20 minutes, it becomes a bit sweeter, vanilla-like, and some very interesting woods come out, like those warmed by the sun, faithful to the bottle and its desert inspirations. And gradually the musk starts to become the protagonist of the composition. Clean and without losing the sweet tone. For those who have tried Alyssa Ashley’s Musk, well, that’s it, but more natural, sweeter, and much younger and more wearable. As for its similarity to Musc Ravageur, I assure you it’s true. The perception for those who know Ravageur and smell this is that you’re wearing Frederic Malle’s. It’s true that this one is less rich in nuances and doesn’t have that famous dirty edge of Ravageur. It’s its little sister, not in ingredient quality, but in olfactory quality of those nuances and small details that are perceived when smelling both at the same time and that are intuited by the huge price difference between the two. It’s been over 5 hours since I put it on. 5 sprays and I can smell it around me. It doesn’t bother me. I’ve even received some compliments, and it’s been a while since that happened. I recommend it without doubt. And I trust it won’t disappoint you… A hug to all fragrance lovers.
This fragrance is delicious for anyone who loves spicy, creamy woody, and vanilla scents. It’s a beautiful combination of notes, carried with much love and pleasure in fresh or cold weather. Unisex, it’s for those who enjoy the blend of cinnamon, vanilla, woods, sandalwood, and Guaiac, with noticeable amber accords. Everything is so well-balanced that the sweetness doesn’t overwhelm the senses. The trail is moderate. It lasts 5-6 hours projecting, and up to 8 hours close to the skin. It wraps me warmly when I put it on; it’s like an instant hug; perfect for an autumn night, with spiced tea, a blanket, an imaginary campfire, and Netflix. What happiness.
Meharées is very well made in an excellent price range. I haven’t compared it to Musc Ravageur or Lira, but I did compare it to L by Lolita Lempicka, and it seems like a worthy substitute for that discontinued fragrance. In fact, I like it a little more. It smells of woody vanilla and very spicy, especially with cinnamon, without the soapy nuance that L has, which I don’t miss. It lacks the citrus part of L, certainly, but it’s warm and cozy, perfect for winter. Totally unisex, with moderate projection and about 8 hours of longevity on my skin. Scent 9/10, Longevity 8/10, Trail 7.5/10, Value 8.5/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 5/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
Meherées is a very well-made fragrance at a great price point. I haven’t been able to compare it to Musc Ravageur or Lira, but I did compare it to L by Lolita Lempicka, and honestly, it feels like a worthy substitute for that discontinued scent. In fact, I have to admit I like it just a little bit more… The scent is a woody vanilla with strong spicy notes, especially cinnamon, and it lacks the soapy nuance that L has on my skin, which I don’t miss anyway. It also misses the citrus facet of L, to be sure. It’s a warm, cozy perfume, perfect for winter. Totally unisex, with moderate projection and about 8 hours of longevity on my skin. Scent 9/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 7.5/10 Value for Money 8.5/10 Versatility 8/10 Packaging 5/10 Would I buy it again? Yes
I bought this fragrance based on the reviews, even though I already own Iris, which I find suffocating. Unfortunately, this doesn’t last even a quarter as long as Iris. It has a very strong opening but fades to nothing in no time. Longevity is extremely weak and sillage is moderate. The scent is quite generic; if Musc Ravageur smells similar, it’s a waste of money by God. Meharees is a decent perfume for the price, but it’s obvious it’s low-cost in terms of scent, sillage, and longevity. I won’t be buying it again. There are niche perfumes that cost a bit more but offer the same style with a noticeable difference in quality. Unfortunately, this perfume feels quite vulgar.
I bought this because of the reviews, even though I own Iris, which suffocates me. Unfortunately, this doesn’t last even a quarter as long as Iris. The opening is strong but disappears quickly. Longevity is very weak and the trail is moderate. The scent is quite common; it smells similar to Musc Ravageur, which is a waste of money by God. Meharees is decent for the price, but it’s obvious it’s low-cost in terms of scent and longevity. I won’t be buying it again. There are niche perfumes that for a little more money offer this style and you can tell they have class. Unfortunately, this smells quite vulgar.
Beautiful perfume. Méharées makes you dream of a desert journey: it starts fresh, like after a night in an oasis. Dates and oranges with a touch of oriental spices give it sweetness and energy. The sun rises quickly, the breeze caresses the skin with scents of woods, flowers, and damp sand. Then the heat arrives, the air gets heavy, and the freshness fades, but the wood, cinnamon, and roses accompany you with creamy elegance in the dry down. It’s harmonious and well-made, using quality ingredients. The trail is pleasant and lasts 4-5 hours, though the longevity is just okay. Ideal for the day, warm like a cushion on the sofa, or elegant for a summer night. It’s floral and spicy; I notice the creamy cinnamon. The performance could be better, but perfume lovers are safe: there are gels, shampoos, soaps, and creams to boost it, plus an aromatic candle. The prices are incredible compared to similar fragrances.
