It was one of my last perfume purchases this Christmas and it was a total hit. It’s a sweet and boozy scent but absolutely not heavy. It might make some people want to take a bite out of you as it smells very much like a cherry-filled liquor bonbon. Even though almonds aren’t listed in the ingredients you can definitely smell a hint of them. Verdict: delicious and ideal to accompany chilly winter days. Go ahead all the sweet-toothed folks (men and women) who decide to give in to such a treat.
The last time I wore it my mom screamed: Apple pie! and I felt like a winner seriously smelling like food is an achievement no joke xD. Even though it doesn’t list apple it smells like apples with cinnamon apple pie.. nom nom. There are plenty of room sprays trying to copy it but believe me this perfume doesn’t smell cheap or synthetic. The rum is sweet and smooth very similar to Gourmand Coquin. It has the exact amount of sweetness so it’s not cloying; it’s warm intoxicating and comforting perfect for cold days with a scarf and a giant sweater.. the scarf will smell like Dolcelisir for days it’s a fact 😉 Later someone said it smelled like Christmas and I couldn’t agree more what a curious perfume =) It’s totally unisex and it’s compared to Ambre Narguile which I haven’t had the luck to smell so I can’t say for sure. My small amount of Dolcelisir has seen me through this winter and I see myself buying a bottle for next year.
The last time I used it my mom shouted: Apple pie! and I felt triumphant seriously smelling like food is one of my olfactory achievements no joke! xD And it’s true without real apple it smells like apple with cinnamon apple pie.. nom nom. It’s common to see room sprays imitating that mix but believe me this perfume doesn’t smell cheap or synthetic. The rum is sweet and smooth very similar to Gourmand Coquin. It has the right dose of sugar so it’s not cloying; it’s warm intoxicating and comforting ideal for cold days with a scarf and a giant sweater.. the scarf will smell like Dolcelisir for days it’s a fact 😉 Later someone said it smelled like Christmas and I couldn’t agree more what a curious perfume =) Dolcelisir is totally unisex and it’s compared to Ambre Narguile which I haven’t had the luck to smell so I can’t confirm. Simply horrible, I hate the smell. It smells more masculine than anything else. It’s been a disappointment because I expected something different based on the reviews and ingredients. I knew that liquor wouldn’t suit me, but I expected sweeter cinnamon; for me, it has nothing sweet or tasty about it—it just smells masculine and rough.
Simply horrible. I don’t like the scent at all it smells more masculine than anything… for me it was a disappointment since I expected something very different based on the reviews I read and the ingredients it contains. I knew that liquor wouldn’t suit me but I was hoping for that sweeter cinnamon… in my opinion it has nothing sweet and rich just masculine and rough.
I’ve had it for less than a week and it smells like apple pie, with lots of cinnamon and vanilla. It’s delicious and surprising how long it lasts on the skin. I’d love to try Ambre narguile to see if they’re this similar, but for now I’m enjoying this beautiful, tasty gourmand. I recommend it; the price is very reasonable for 100ml.
The first time I tried Dolcelisir, it sounded familiar, like a Christmas scent. It reminds me of homemade punch with apple, guava, raisins, plums, cane sugar, hibiscus, piloncillo, cinnamon, and rum. It smells sweet, especially the apple, very spicy with lots of cinnamon, warm, with a touch of alcohol and a vanilla-citrus base. It lasts between 10 and 12 hours, the trail is moderate but noticeable with just a few sprays. Perfect for informal use in cold weather or Christmas parties with family.
