I was disappointed by this latest release from a house I usually enjoy. It sounds like a clone of Nishane’s Ambra Calabria and gives me the same vibe: I’m captivated at first by that green, luminous bergamot, but within minutes it turns into a dusty, amber base that doesn’t work for me. It lingers as an undefined scent, slightly sticky and sweet with powdery notes, neither pleasant nor appealing to me. That said, I’m sure others will love it; for the price, it’s worth at least trying.
