A beautiful perfume to decipher: intense at first, powdery and creamy. Fruity iris and powder mark the beginning, followed by a subtle neroli and a transparent scent that the powder accentuates. There’s probably a touch of pink pepper. Another Erbolario that surprised me, though it suits feminine skin better. I always test on skin to be accurate: at first it smells very powdery, but not unpleasant. After half an hour, it’s already a classy creamy aroma. At two hours, for a split second, I thought it smelled like cardamom, but it was just a moment; the vanilla is clear but never dominant. It maintains a sublime creaminess, like being in a bubble bath. Lasting power is acceptable, though after two hours it fades and stays close to the skin. Thanks to its enveloping creaminess, it’s comforting for those gray winter days; applying it will surely make you smile.
Clean scent with that vintage old makeup vibe, super cuddly and more feminine than masculine. Perfect for cold weather; can be overwhelming in summer. Another gem from L’Erbolario.
