  Maffia is an excellent fragrance, totally unisex, mysterious and sweet, but without being cloying. A pleasure for the senses; the notes are perfectly distinct and it’s very harmonious. I like the alcoholic nuances it has; it contains oud, whisky, and tobacco, notes that are impossible not to like. It’s intense but very versatile. If you like fragrances like Ch Man Privé or Gentleman Reserve Privé, I recommend trying it; although it doesn’t resemble any of them, it has nuances of that style. It also has a gourmand touch due to the tiramisu note, but not a heavy gourmand, just the right touch.

  I own this perfume; it’s very rich and very long-lasting, but on my skin it comes off very masculine, perhaps because I’m not used to unisex scents. But in my opinion, I think it adapts and looks much better on men.

  I bought it on decant and it’s fascinating. Diabolically mysterious. Sweet, ambered, and boozy. It’s subtlety and mystery disguising darkness with a dim light, the hostility of a closed night at a fascinating threshold of smoke and alcohol.

  I asked Mauricio Carbajal what quality means in a perfume, and he said it’s when the notes are perfectly executed. Mafia is exactly that: a tiramisu soaked in whisky with a smoky wood scent, like a pipe in action. It’s a highly personal extrait that screams ‘I’m here,’ perfect for fall, winter, or crisp days. The trail lasts about a meter for an hour and a half, and with 6 to 8 sprays, the longevity hits 10 to 12 hours, though it does fade in bursts occasionally. Definitely a unique perfume to own.   I asked Mauricio Carbajal: What is quality in a perfume? He answered that the notes must be well executed. Maffia is exactly that. A tiramisu soaked in whisky with a scent of wood and pipe smoke. An extract with a lot of personality that shouts: “I’m here!”. Perfect for autumn, winter, or cool days. Its projection is one meter for an hour and a half. Longevity with 6 or 8 applications is 10 to 12 hours, always throwing bursts. A different perfume to own, without a doubt. Nina is a genius. Best regards from Argentina.

  Out of all the fragrances I own, I often thought none surpassed the others… until I met Maffia. Yesterday I received this extract, and as soon as I tested it, everything I thought about the others faded into the background. For me, Maffia is pure elegance and the love, work, and effort of its creator. It’s exquisite, I love it, and as they say below (and I agree 100%), it’s a work of art. In Argentina, we take pride in having great references in everything: sports, music, medicine, art. Let the award Nina won last year be the start for her to become a world legend in perfumery. Congratulations! P.S. Wait for Status Quo, another gem from Nina that I hope to see soon.

The longevity is impressive and sufficient; the trail lasts 2 to 3 hours at over a meter’s distance, leaving a mark in every room you enter. It’s friendly and addictive, perfect for special occasions and, in my opinion, better suited for cooler rather than hot climates. Along with the perfume, I received a sample of the upcoming launch of Nina, Status Quo. Their work is impeccable and superior. Highly recommended; their perfumes are a must-have for any collector.

  Smells very similar to Borouj’s Perlador, although some notes change, just like with Boss Bottled Absolu.

  A total beast. The promised notes are exactly what you smell, and they do so with an intensity that leaves you breathless. Upon trying it, my reaction was instant: “I have to have this, I need it in my life!”. It’s not about collecting rare bottles, but because I discovered a scent that conquered me, and in seconds, I wanted to become that aroma. I recommend it 100%. It’s one of those fragrances perfume lovers search for: the one that leaves you speechless and surprises you in the best way.
