The dry-down has nothing to do with the opening: it starts resinous, liquorice-like, and spicy. Then it evolves, but without losing that overwhelming power or veering into darkness. Ideal for people with character and confidence. The atomizer is next level—watch out for those sprays!
Vilory
A scent not for the inexperienced nose. Inspired by Marly’s Carlisle, it copies even the quality. Made in France despite being an Arab brand, it’s incredibly rich and comes in a luxury box—a winter exquisite for day and night. Upon opening, the red tobacco liquor, sweet and musky, makes you vibrate (similar to Mancera’s Red Tobacco). Then comes the greenery of basil and sage. As it dries down, smoky notes of incense and violet emerge. The finish is woody, with soft oud and delicate leather. It’s not linear, developing new notes over time. It has an animal, sexy, and elegant touch. Not very versatile, 100% masculine, for cold climates and formal or semi-formal looks with a leather jacket. Smells like an expensive and exclusive perfume, denoting opulence and authority. On thick skin, it lasts 12 hours, projects 2 meters at the start, and on clothes, you have to be careful not to overdo it.

Amazing fragrance. A scent that isn’t for everyone… but if it’s for you, it’s enchanting. Extraordinary longevity. It easily projected for 7 hours and lingered on my clothes for days. It’s really the closest thing to a beast mode in style. So much so that it can even become a bit overwhelming.

Amazing perfume. Not for everyone, but if it’s for you, it’s enchanting. Extraordinary longevity: 7+ hours easily on skin and lasting days on clothes. Pure beast mode style, so much so that it can generate fatigue.

Great opening. Smells like tobacco, patchouli, and chocolate. Very potent. It reminds me of something from Pure Havane. Deep down, during the dry-down, I detect similarities to perfumes like Davidoff Zino and Salvador Dali Pour Homme, probably due to the patchouli. The final residue lasts on clothes for at least a week and resembles the generic bases of many sweet, amber, and vanilla perfumes (it particularly reminded me of Natura Dom). This final phase is excessively sweet for my taste, though I noticed that depending on the fabric, the perfume creates a noticeable variation in the scent characteristics.

Amazing perfume, the Arab version of Carlisle and Red Tobacco. Needless to say, I loved it.

The opening is fantastic: tobacco, patchouli, and chocolate. Very potent, reminds me of something from Pure Havane. In the dry-down, I find similarities with Davidoff’s Zino or Salvador Dalí Pour Homme, probably due to the patchouli. The final residue on clothes lasts at least a week and smells like generic sweet, amber, and vanilla bases (reminded me of Natura Dom). That last phase is excessively sweet for me, although I notice that the fabric material changes the scent characteristics significantly.

Refined leather, violet, and oud dominate. It vibrates elegantly, bright, slightly stuck, and mildly woody, without being cloying. It’s not ultra-serious, but a scent for adults, nothing like the One Million for teenagers. Lovely smell, good construction, and quality. This Borouj is a subsidiary of a major Arab house that manufactures in France, according to the box. I don’t know the Carlisle, but I suppose it stands up to it decently. Mid-low price justified by scent and performance. The 85 ml presentation and box are typical of Arab perfumery. Recommended 100%. It’s like a cousin of Carolina Herrera’s Mystery Tobacco, but without tobacco, perhaps just an aromatic coincidence.

Not easy. The opening is very boozy; I smell whisky, but after 10 minutes it disappears to give way to an atomic patchouli. The final phase turns slightly amber.

Wow, I love it. It’s not the most durable on skin, but I perceive it for about 7 hours. I don’t like the citrus and herbal opening much, but then comes the good stuff: incense, oud, and a touch of leather. Welcome to my collection because it doesn’t resemble anything I already own.
