Thanks to SeleneHdez for the swap, I received L’eau d’Issey Florale. I like the original but don’t own it because on my skin it smells acidic and doesn’t convince me. Here, I don’t feel that note; it’s softer and more floral. The mandarin smells like several citruses that add sparkle to the rose and lily-of-the-valley; together with the woods, it smells clean and fresh. On my skin, it lasts from moderate to a lot, and the sillage was strong. I didn’t think it would have so much projection, but I noticed the aroma didn’t change, only the intensity. It’s simple but elegant, ideal for anyone seeking a fresh floral.
I owned it and loved it: smells like fresh roses with mandarin and woods, very fresh, feminine, and elegant—a great summer option. The problem was that over time it became saturated, developing acidic tones that overwhelmed me, so I traded it in. Now I see it’s in good hands. I still keep a 10 ml vial for special occasions. Its longevity was beastly, lasting over 9 hours, with projection more than moderate.
I owned it and loved it; it smells like fresh roses with mandarin and woods. Fresh, feminine, elegant, a great summer option. Over time, it became too much for me, giving acidic tones that overwhelmed me, so I traded it and I’m glad it’s in good hands. I keep a 10 ml vial for special occasions. Longevity is amazing, over 9 hours, with more than moderate projection.
This is the one I chose for my wedding: romantic, feminine, and light as a caress of rose. The bottle is elegant and simple, with a gorgeous color. Perfect for such a special day. Longevity: 8/10, sillage: 8/10.
I chose it for my wedding. It’s romantic and feminine, light as the caress of a rose on the skin. The bottle is elegant, simple, and a beautiful color. It’s perfect for a special day. Longevity: 8/10, Sillage: 8/10.
I love this perfume; it took some time to fall in love with, but it’s divine. It leaves a very sensual scent of dry roses on the skin, has the traditional base, and lasts forever. When you wear it, you feel like a successful woman with the world at her feet.
I love this perfume; it took me a while to fall for it, but it’s so divine. It leaves a very sensual scent of dry roses on the skin, carries the classic base, and lasts forever. When you wear it, you feel like a successful woman with the world at her feet.
At first, it seemed fresh and sweet, something I’d never smelled, but then the rose scent became too overpowering; it smelled like honey and irritated my nose. What a pity; I was excited about the notes.
I wanted it for a thousand reasons, but it was a disappointment. It smells too soft, very similar to Kenzo Le Par 2 but softer. The Kenzo version is better made.
Smells like roses with a touch of mandarin peel and woods, but the queen is the rose. I like it but didn’t buy it again; it smells like other rose perfumes, but in those others, the rose is more natural and lasts longer. It’s pretty, feminine, and romantic, very pleasant for hot days.
L’eau d’Issey Florale smells like roses with a touch of mandarin peel and woods, but the queen is definitely the rose. I like it, but I didn’t repurchase because it smells the same as other rose perfumes, only that in the others the flower feels more natural and they last longer. It’s a pretty, feminine, and romantic scent, very pleasant for hot days.
Very soft and fresh for summer. Peonies, jasmine, and very pink rose. Very feminine and subtle. It doesn’t smell like mandarin to me; it’s very floral. Ideal for gifting, daily wear, or the office.
I’ve always loved the men’s and women’s versions of L’eau d’Issey; they share a lot, though nowadays they smell more ‘chemical’ than the masterpieces of the 90s. I keep trying the flankers (though there are many and some are repetitive). I stumbled upon this floral EDT by chance—a friend wanted to toss it, and I didn’t hesitate. The cap scared me because pure rose isn’t my favorite, but here it shines. Upon application, it smells like the classic clean and ozonic, with elevated lily-of-the-valley overshadowed by a clean, soapy, primal rose. Mandarin adds a modern touch. It’s not my favorite (I prefer Lotus), but Alberto Morillas did a great job on Cavallier’s classic. The Calone is barely noticeable; the base is musky and slightly woody. I recommend it to rose and minimalism fans. Good performance for an EDT.
I’ve always loved both versions of L’eau d’Issey, men and women, as they share so much. Nowadays they feel more ‘chemical’ than the masterpieces of the 90s, but I still enjoy them and try the flankers (though there are many and some are repetitive). This floral EDT came to me by accident—a friend wanted to throw it away, so I took it. The cap scared me because rose isn’t my strong note, but upon applying it, that classic DNA emerges: clean and ozonic, with elevated lily of the valley overshadowed by a clean, soapy, primal rose. The mandarin adds a modern touch. While it’s not my favorite in the line (I think it’s Lotus), Alberto Morillas did a great job on Cavallier’s classic, Druid of the Night: he maintained the original balance, highlighted the florals, and gave starring power to a pink rose like its bottle. It’s neither too youthful nor vintage. The calone is barely noticeable or absent; the base is musky and slightly woody. I recommend it to unconditional fans of rose or the line’s clean minimalism. Performance is quite good for an EDT.
Minimalist, serious, and super elegant. I love it; it smells sophisticated. Perfect for rainy days, just like the other Miyake scents. Lasts well as an EDT and is gorgeous, very feminine.
