  • It’s the most subtle and least cloying version of the classic LVEB; I think it’s the bergamot that makes the difference. I love it and it doesn’t bore me like before.

  • I never thought anyone would say this, but I’m speechless: this new flanker I just received today is an obvious nod to Flowerbomb, especially the Dew in its opening. It reminds me of those aspirin we used to take as kids, how strange! It’s floral, musky, with very restrained sweetness. The iris takes charge, without patchouli or praline; while it keeps the essence of the classic LVEB, here it’s much more wearable, tender, and non-invasive. Perfect for intermediate seasons. I loved it. I wasn’t a fan of LVEB’s new launches (Soleil Cristal and Intensement were disasters), but with this one, I’m finally happy.

  • It’s the most refined and non-cloying version of the classic LVEB. I don’t know if it’s the bergamot or what, but I like it more and it doesn’t bore me as quickly as the original.

  • Very powdery, generic, and overused. That said, for those looking for something softer than the original, it works great. It’s Lancome 😍

  • No one has said it yet and I’m surprised: this flanker resembles Flowerbomb a lot, especially the Dew, in its opening. It reminds me of the aspirin we took as kids, incredible. It’s floral, musky, with very measured sweetness. The iris dominates, without patchouli or praline. Although the classic is there, this is much more wearable, tender, and nothing invasive. Ideal for intermediate seasons. I loved it. I wasn’t a fan of LVEB’s new flankers, neither Soleil Cristal nor Intensement, but with this one, I’m finally happy.

  • Very powdery, generic, and overused. That said, for those looking for something softer than the original, it does its job. It’s Lancome 😍

Among the hundreds of millions of flankers of this already iconic fragrance, I think I can say I’ve finally found the LVEB tailored to my taste (with L’Éclat being my favorite, this is undoubtedly the one that follows). It carries the DNA of the original; you can tell it’s another ‘flankerstein’ of the line… but here we find a potion higher in brightness, cleanliness, and versatility, and lower in sweetness, power, and patchouli. Longevity of more than 8 hours on my skin, I’d say over 10… moderate trail but very noticeable. People praise it, which doesn’t happen as much with the original. The bottle is the same, but that frosty touch makes it very beautiful in my opinion. Limited edition and 50ml… I’ll have to get another bottle. Although I’m using it with the weather getting cooler, I think it will be a total love in spring.

The bottle is incredibly beautiful (that’s why I bought it). I like the scent (it’s my favorite of the LVEB flankers, though I must admit I’ve never been passionate about any of them). For me, it’s a mix between the LVEB EDP (which I don’t like) and Flowerbomb Dew (which I adore). I think it’s a great option if you like the LVEB scent but find its sweetness overwhelming. The iris is quite noticeable with a more manageable sweetness.

I’ve been searching for this fragrance because of Mar Cielo y Tierra; if anyone can tell me where to buy it in the USA or, if that’s a lost cause, in Spain, please 🥺

The bottle is a work of art (that was the reason for the purchase). I love the scent, although even though it’s my favorite in the LVEB line, I confess it never really took my fancy. For me, it’s a hybrid between the LVEB EDP (which I don’t like) and Flowerbomb Dew (which is my dream). If you like LVEB but the sweetness turns you off, this is your option. The iris is very noticeable and the sugar is at a manageable dose.

  • At first, it didn’t grab my attention, but now that I have it drying on my clothes at home, I’ve realized something: it’s like a feminine version of Dior Homme Intense!!! I swear to you, it reminded me of its DNA so much! Let’s say it’s the most wearable and affordable option; I find it unisex. Earthy, powdery, patchouli… I promise you, Dior comes to my mind instantly. I smell the iris mostly, the white flowers too, but what lingers most are the earthy musks and the patchouli. A true discovery!

  • First impressions: iris and more iris. Very fine. Like a romantic, innocent powder puff. On blotter, you can feel more of the original LVEB DNA, but on my skin, it’s pure baby powder. Beautiful bottle, like all in the line, but I wouldn’t buy it. Should be tested in cooler temperatures to see what happens.

The opening is a sweet orange blossom with a very sugary bergamot, almost candied. Fortunately, the sweetness fades, leaving a sensation of orange blossom and bergamot flowers dusted with sugar-flower powder over a very fine musk veil. Over time, the musk takes center stage, embracing the other notes and becoming a sweet, creamy musk with orange blossom and iris (the bergamot’s citrus just balances things so it’s not cloying). The pepper occasionally peeks through, and the patchouli just supports without being noticeable. Looking at the notes, I realize there’s jasmine… I never detected it lol. It’s a soft, sweet scent, right at the limit of acceptability for someone who hates sweet fragrances. The trail is moderate and the longevity is excellent. It follows LVB’s olfactive path but takes a detour; an option for those who love musk and Lancôme but hate LVB could be Tressor Nuit Musc Diamant.

It starts with very sweet orange blossom and bergamot, almost at full strength. Fortunately, the sweetness drops afterwards, leaving orange blossom and bergamot flowers as if they were dusted with floral sugar over a very fine musk veil. Over time, the musk takes charge, embracing the other notes and becoming creamy and sweet with orange blossom and iris (the citrus of the bergamot only balances so it’s not cloying). The pepper appears occasionally and the patchouli just holds without being noticeable. I found out it had jasmine and I never sensed it, haha. It’s a soft and sweet scent, right at the limit of what I can tolerate if I hate sweetness. The trail is moderate and the fixation is excellent. It follows the LVB path but takes a detour; if you love musk and Lancome but hate LVB, try Tressor Nuit Musc Diamant.

  • Basically iris, musk, and orange blossom. It’s the equivalent of Pure Poison but in the Vie Est Belle range. Like the other one, it breaks away from the fragrance house’s traditional line. Calmer, softer. The bottle and packaging are better than the scent itself.

Still available at El Corte Inglés with a small discount. I grabbed it spontaneously a few days ago at a physical perfumery while looking for other discontinued scents. Only one was left, and I thought, ‘Take it home!’ There was also L’Éclat EDP, in case anyone is looking for it and doesn’t want to pay double on all those resale apps we all know.

  • Lizilla Rojas

It’s an LVEB EDP with a musk base; I didn’t notice the pink pepper at first (thank god), nor the neroli in the heart (what a pity). The soft patchouli earned some points, but the sweet base notes held it back. Not for anyone who dislikes LVEB.
