It’s called ‘Arabian Smoke’ and it fits perfectly. It’s spices, incense, and the scent of a solitary rose drifting through the desert. Right after spraying, you clearly detect cumin and coriander; over time, the incense and cardamom take over. As it dries down, it becomes slightly creamy thanks to the vanilla. It brings back memories of opening a treasure, walking through the desert, a spice market in the Middle East—mystery, spirituality, and sensuality. It shares with Amouage Interlude that same incense and depth, but while Interlude is resinous, liturgical, and spiritual, La Fumée Arabie is dry, sensual, and spicy. The longevity is brutal, lasting more than 12 hours.
