Lyn Harris

Lyn Harris is a British independent perfumer. She is recognized for her innovative approach to creating fragrances and founded the brands Miller Harris and Perfumer H. Raised in Yorkshire and Scotland, Harris was surrounded by the natural beauty of the British countryside. Later, this early exposure to the scents and landscapes of her homeland would inspire her approach to fragrance creation, focusing on the use of natural ingredients and on evoking vivid sensory experiences. Harris moved to Paris to train under the guidance of Monique Schlienger. After completing her training, she worked with Robertet, in Grasse. In 2000, Harris and her partner Christophe Michel founded Miller Harris, a line of perfumes and candles. Among her creations are L'Air de Rien (initially made as a bespoke fragrance for Jane Birkin), Citron Citron, Tea Tonique, and Rose Silence. In 2012, Neo Capital invested in Miller Harris. By 2014, Harris shifted her focus to a new project while continuing to serve as a consultant and shareholder of Miller Harris. In 2015, she launched Perfumer H. Harris has worked with brands such as Claus Porto, Fresh, LEGENDÄR, Maison Trudon, Perfumer H, Solange Azagury-Partridge, and Vyrao. Some of her most popular fragrances include Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac, Miller Harris La Fumée, and Miller Harris Noix de Tubéreuse.
