Dose de Humor is a floral fruity gourmand fragrance for women, launched by Natura in 2020. This composition was created by Verônica Kato and Nicolas Beaulieu. Fresh and very cheerful, what great vibes!
It totally blew my mind, very pretty and a total surprise. At first, it smells like a sugar pill, then champagne comes out, and in the end, we’re left with the rose. A gorgeous fragrance that caught me off guard.
It’s a layering of pink musk and my own musk; when it dries, you get the woody note of my own musk and the citrus aroma of a grapefruit with a touch of red fruits.
I tried it a few days ago and it’s a real discovery: it smells different from everything I’ve heard. On my skin, the patchouli dominates, mixed with lemon and sweet notes of raspberry and pear, finishing with a slightly powdery touch. It’s in the Anna Sui fantasy style, but not the same; it just follows that path. Warning: if you don’t like patchouli, stay away, because it smells very much like that. Also, the bottle is matte and neon, but you have to take good care of it because it scratches easily. In short, I loved it, it’s versatile and lasts quite a while.
I bought it blind : ( because on the Fragrantica page it’s classified in the Floral Fruity Gourmand family, but it smells mentholated, similar to athlete ointments. I don’t know what to do; I already opened it and can’t return it in that state. I always thought gourmands were sweet, and I’ve gotten gourmand perfumes that make you want to eat them, but this is the first time I’ve gotten a weirdly mentholated one. I’ve been wearing it for a while now, and we’ve gelled; the intensity from the beginning has decreased, or maybe I just got used to it. A huge plus is the rose aroma, which isn’t overshadowed by the patchouli; it’s best applied moderately so I get along better with this fragrance.
My favorite from this line. It reminds me of lychee candies I used to buy at an Asian grocery store. It’s floral, fruity, and slightly fresh. I love it.
I really liked this one, honestly, it surprised me. I’m a huge fan of raspberries in perfumery, and they’re quite present here. On the opening, it didn’t convince me as much; the initial acidity put me on the defensive, but later on the dry down, it finally won me over. Very fruity, with a patchouli accompanying it decently; at times, it smells like sweet gummies. It’s true that it feels mentholated at moments, but the fruity notes predominate.
I really liked this one, honestly, it surprised me. I’m a huge fan of raspberries in perfumery, and they’re quite noticeable here. At the initial stage, it didn’t convince me as much; the initial acidity put me on the defensive, but then the drydown conquered me. Very fruity, with a patchouli that accompanies it worthily; from time to time, it smells like sweet gummies. Yes, it feels mentholated at times, but the fruity notes prevail.
I arrived expecting something softer, innocent, and sweet, like the raspberry and pink pepper or Kriska Shock, but nothing like that: it’s super potent. The lemon or capim limao is basically citronella, the herb used to repel bugs; together with the patchouli, it creates something strange and mentholated. It’s not ugly, but don’t buy it blindly. I like the fruity aroma it leaves after a while and I kept it. My boyfriend actually finds it disgusting, and the other time we killed a cockroach with two sprays before even using the insecticide. It’s hyper-potent; I went to my mom’s house, and after three or four sprays five hours ago, she asked if I’d thrown some fruit in the living room. Plus, it lasts more than a day, not even a shower takes it away. Perfumes usually last long on me because I have oily skin, but never anything like this! Well, I’ve stopped talking; I’m usually brief, but this time I went on a rant.
Based on the notes, I expected a much softer, innocent, and sweet perfume, like raspberry and pink pepper or Kriska Shock. Nothing like that. It’s super potent. The ‘limão capim’ or lemongrass—what we call ‘citronella’ in Argentina, the famous insect-repelling herb—combined with patchouli creates something very strange and mentholated. It’s not ugly, but don’t buy it blind. In fact, I like the fruity aroma it leaves after a while. I kept it. My boyfriend hates it, and the other day we killed a cockroach with two sprays, and it died before the insecticide did. It’s hyper-potent; the other day I went to my mom’s house, and after about five hours and three or four sprays, she asked if I’d thrown something ‘fruity’ in the living room in those minutes I went down to the dog. Plus, it lasts more than a day; nothing washes it off even with a shower. Perfumes usually last long on me, I think it’s because my skin is thick and oily. BUT NEVER SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!! Well, I’m done, hahaha, I’m a person of few words, but this time I went into detail.
Red fruits and a subtle patchouli in the background that won me over. I tried it today on a sample and was surprised. I’d heard this fragrance resembled cherry-and-mint gum from a popular brand in my country (Argentina) and expected a candy-style perfume for a teen audience. Nothing like that; it’s a beautiful sweet scent, not heavy at all, delicate, and powdery on me. It might have a mentholated touch on the opening, but don’t be alarmed. I loved it and already want a regular-sized bottle.
It’s a floral perfume with a candy aroma, powdery, a classic combination in perfumery, though a bit fruitier and synthetic. It produces a familiar sensation, ideal for daily use. In my opinion, it’s not a standout or highly recommended perfume since I find it a bit generic. However, if you’re looking for something lightly floral, semi-sweet, and powdery like a deodorant, this perfume can work. It might generate compliments in its wake due to the dynamic of its notes. It’s soft and already skin-scented after 30 minutes.
Wow, skin scent in 30 minutes? It lasts me the whole day and is one of the most potent fragrances I’ve tried. Maybe yours was the Argentine version and mine the Brazilian one, or vice versa—I don’t know. That’s so weird!!!!
I like it, but as I read in previous comments… don’t buy it blind! I don’t regret buying it since it’s the ‘freshest’ (or least gourmand) in my collection. It has pros and cons. It’s a simple perfume. On the opening, I feel a bit of bitterness due to the champagne and grapefruit. The citronella comes out in the background, harmonizing the earlier notes. On my skin, the rose is the most noticeable; I barely detect the raspberry. It’s more floral than fruity, not very gourmand. I recommend it for everyday wear when you don’t feel like being overly sweet and want to avoid a kilo of sugar. I also find it a bit powdery. I’ll highlight that it has good projection; it lasted four hours with great sillage. I got complimented only once, so meh.
Hi, I’m not sure if I’m wrong, but I compared it to Angel Nova by Mugler, and to my nose, they’re super similar. It’s a delight—super fresh and sparkling, perfect for spring and summer! I bought it blind based on the notes, and it turned out delicious.
Love at first sniff. I loved it; it’s an excellent perfume ideal for spring-summer, great for evening/night use. Longevity: over 12 hours, projection: 3 hours. Great job! Congrats to Natura. Would I buy it again? A thousand times. I love it, I can’t live without it. PER-FU-MA-ZO.
Love at first sniff, I really loved it! It’s an excellent perfume, ideal for spring and summer, to wear in the afternoon or evening. It lasts about twelve hours with a projection of about three, how great! Congratulations to Natura. Would I buy it again? A thousand times, I love it and can’t be without it. PERFUMAZO!
A beautiful, distinct fragrance that lasts a long time on skin, more than 8 hours, and leaves a nice trail. I received many compliments when I wore it…
Since I tried the sample, I thought it was HORRIBLE. It smelled like fruit-scented insecticide.
It’s a sparkling strawberry drink that stings the nose, just like bubbles would when you take a sip. It’s an astringent, slightly citrusy, and clean scent. It’s simple, a bit synthetic, but rich.
I love the idea that it’s inspired by my favorite drink: the berry gin tonic. I read reviews before buying, and when I got it, I loved the champagne aroma. I got it through a Natura consultant because it’s not easily available in the catalog, at least here. Excellent purchase, I’m thrilled.
Too intense at first, smells a bit like insecticide; you have to get close slowly to notice the scents. It lasted quite a while on the skin, and over time, the fruity notes and patchouli (which is too much for me) managed to stick around.
Too intense at first, a bit like insecticide; you have to get close slowly to notice the scents. It lasts quite a while on the skin, and over time, the fruity and patchouli aromas persist, which is way too much for me.
I need them to bring it back. I used it with such enthusiasm that now I miss it. The rose note isn’t prominent and gives me nausea, but the longevity is excellent and it has that Natura DNA that makes it my favorite brand. It’s youthful and energetic, perfect for an afternoon outing. I sense some pineapple even though it’s not listed. I love it, hoping it returns.
A good perfume with a moderate sillage and lots of personality. It opens acidic with that champagne note well present, and patchouli appears in the dry down. I recommend it if you like citrus and acidity; it has just the right touch of sweetness. I gifted it to my sister because that acidity overwhelmed me—it’s not my taste, but I admire how original it is. Before buying, always smell it first; it’s very particular.
Out of all Natura lines, Humor is my favorite, and Dose de Humor is a huge hit for me: it’s vibrant and lifts your mood. People tell me I smell incredible with this delicious perfume, and the compliments never stop.
If it’s the best from Natura, it’s by far. I’m not sure if it’s the formula, but you have to give it patience. At first, it smells weak, almost like insecticide, but once it settles, it becomes a beast, similar to Angel Nova. It fills the room and lasts 8 hours on skin and clothes until washed.
