A floral fragrance with a hint of smoke. It hits hard at first but fades to a skin scent after just four hours. Perfect for anyone looking for something simple and very soft.
From this line, I prefer the Rose Evening with liquor and the delicate Gardenia Rattan; this one isn’t essential, but I grabbed it at a good price. The whole Aerin range smells great, lasts at least six hours, has good sillage, doesn’t irritate the nose, and features sophisticated scents. The bottle is elegant with a vintage jewel-like cap. It doesn’t smell like powder as I expected from the iris and musk; instead, it’s purely green with cedar on clothes. On skin, suddenly it smells like face powder mixed with green and florals. I feel like wearing it during the day with friends.
The iris note only comes through at the start, then it simplifies and smells like a generic kid’s fragrance. Not worth the price they’re asking.
