This is a super complex fragrance: it starts sweet with licorice without being cloying, but quickly reveals a very dark, sweet, woody, and resinous orchid. It has great projection and lasts over 10 hours on skin; at the end, patchouli emerges, giving it that unique touch. The first time I smelled it, I thought it was very feminine, but after testing it several times with a sample, I’d say it’s more masculine, much like Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. The scent is exquisite at times, sometimes giving me a lollipop vibe, perhaps due to the Ambroxan. Is it worth the price? At 250 euros, I think yes, it’s worth it. Without a doubt, it’s a winter or cold-weather fragrance. I hope to have it in my collection someday.
