  Charriol is an interesting and quality oriental. At first, it smells dark with ebony and sandalwood, reminding me of TF for Men Extreme, but without that heavy truffle density. After 10 minutes, the myrrh takes over, though the cinnamon and vanilla soften the tone a bit. The projection is powerful and it works well on fresh days. I think it’s unisex and very different from typical Western perfumes, like those from Swiss Arabian or Al Haramain.

  I bought this blind based on the price and the claim that it smells like Mancera Red Tobacco, and honestly, it’s a hit. Right out of the bottle, the cinnamon and date notes dominate, giving a fruity touch mixed with vanilla. After a while, the date and vanilla linger, but the sandalwood and benzoin start to shine through. By the 7-hour mark, it’s just sandalwood and ebony left. At 1.5 hours, it’s very similar to Natura Essencial Oud, though this one leans a bit more powdery. For the price, great purchase.
