Has anyone tried it? It’s very good, I couldn’t find anything similar. It’s a cedar magnolia. Weird, and I love it. I regret buying it for my sister. A fairly affordable perfume that pleasantly surprised me.
What a striking and singular fragrance!! Neroli and gardenias emerge exultant and extroverted at the start, telling the wonders of this new friend. But after a few minutes, their shyness becomes evident, dosing their words in the form of scent. And expectantly, watch as a magnificent magnolia emerges from the sea, floating on its waters with wooden petals, and cradled by a faint mist of musk and yuzu, it bids farewell gifting a moderate woody sillage, musky floral notes, and aquatic notes of a sea that will mourn the absence of the flower, with tears that will smell like you: Wild.
I love Salvador Dalí; these are elegant and distinct perfumes with a unique personality; with Dalí you never go wrong, that said, if you don’t like the first one, you won’t understand the rest of the line. They’re not as expensive as high-end brands but are on par with the most costly ones, which is why they’re sometimes hard to find, plus each one is a piece of art in its packaging… And although I haven’t tried this particular one, I really like what Ylla and Karimar say, and I imagine its aroma must be exquisite and special.
It’s a weird scent, but in a good way. At first, it smelled like grandma’s perfume, those kitsch ones hahaha, but after a while it mutates into something more relaxed; I think it’s ideal for cold days and for work or after office.
I liked it quite a bit, there’s very little left in the bottle. Gardenia, gardenia, gardenia… magnolia, a slightly exotic touch, I’m not sure if “wild” precisely. Obviously everything is according to my own impressions and what my skin reveals. Good-priced perfume, lovely animal print bottle with a very Dalí-style cap. Not one of my top favorites, but it looks gorgeous.
Nardos, green notes, gardenia, and cedar are the ones that hit me the hardest. On cold days, I barely smell it—only up close—but on a crisp autumn day, its personal trail really shines: comforting and fresh, though I doubt it holds up in extreme heat; better for mild days. The mix of greens and cedar with the nardos is super unique; for me, nardos are usually intense and kitsch, but here they have a sui generis vibe, not too sweet, which adds up. For night, it’s a gem. Like Salvador Dalí himself, affordable price, gorgeous and eye-catching bottle, medium-to-long-lasting sillage and projection, quality far above the price. Totally worth the risk and reapplying if needed.
Neroli, green notes, gardenia, and cedar are what I notice the most. I wore it on a cold day and barely felt it, except up close; on a fresh autumn day, however, I did catch its personal sillage, which in this weather feels cozy yet fresh, though I’m not sure if it works for extreme heat. It’s probably best for mild days. The greens and cedar make it disruptive with the neroli, which I like because they usually make me feel too intense; as I read in another review, it’s very kitsch, something sui generis compared to what’s out there now, not too sweet—that’s a plus. I think it’s a night treasure. Like everything Dalí, accessible price, beautiful and striking bottle, good quality for medium-to-long longevity and sillage; considering the price, the quality is superior, worth the risk and reapplication if needed.
Edit: It’s a delight, though the longevity and sillage are very scarce… what a pity because it smells incredible. The neroli and gardenia with those woody notes make it unique; I love it, it’s not pretentious, and, like everything by Salvador Dalí, it has the 3Bs. Definitely a discovery for me, since I’m not a huge fan of neroli perfumes; it has a vintage vibe… it reminded me of one my mother used by Elizabeth Taylor, can’t remember the name. Anyway, a 10/10 for this Dalí jewel.
Edit: Delicious, but sillage and projection are very weak—a shame because it smells incredible. The nardos, gardenia, and those woody notes make it one-of-a-kind. I love it; it’s not pretentious, and like everything Dalí, it has the 3Bs. Definitely a discovery for me, since I’m not a huge nardo fan; it has a vintage vibe and reminded me of one my mom used by Elizabeth Taylor, can’t remember the name. Anyway, a solid 10/10 for this Salvador Dalí treat.
