Just finished my bottle and realized I never reviewed it. It’s super relaxing, but that’s about it. The only thing saving it is the initial blast right after application. They really need to research better fragrances for sensitive skin; otherwise, it’s a waste of money.
This little perfume doesn’t smell much like white tea to me… It feels more citrusy than herbal (thinking of tea as a leaf, not a fruit). The White Tea by Elizabeth Arden and The Blanc by Bvlgari, which are similar to each other, are quite different from this Solinotes. Still, it’s very nice—fresh, almost cold, clean, a touch of citrus, and more carefree than formal. To my surprise, paired with the Yuzu as the box suggests, it reminds me a lot of Hermès Jardin en Méditerranée. Longevity and projection are average, which speaks well of Solinotes in terms of price-to-quality ratio, and it’s not embarrassing to reapply if needed. A great option for anyone seeking freshness without diving into classic or heavy scent combinations.
It’s not there… it’s rich but a whisper 😔
Sparkling, fresh, and soapy. The top notes are acidic, with an undeniable presence of cardamom, citrus, and sage. It’s not very persistent nor does it have a strong sillage, but it’s ideal for layering. I wear it with the Yuzu from the same brand, and it creates a truly novel, youthful, relaxed, yet vibrant aroma. It surprises people who are used to mass-market scents. It also works wonderfully with tonka for an informal night. Whether worn alone or layered, it’s a great option for exploring new territories at a very convenient price.
