I tried it at Druni a month ago in a dry room and it stuck in my head. A few days ago it was 14.95€ and I left. First impression: it hit like alcohol, or I was cheated, or I don’t know what they did with the potency. Then I saw it lasts 5-6 hours on skin but the projection is short, with sporadic bursts, nothing special. Second, comparing this to Tuscan Leather is olfactory terrorism. I like the smell (especially in a dry room) quite a bit; on skin it’s ‘meh’. Probably I wouldn’t have bought it if I had tested it properly; it gives a reasonable likeness to leather notes with an interesting fresh scent, from a moderate distance. To me, it smells like gasoline with bubblegum, very particular. I wouldn’t recommend buying it due to low performance and low projection. Longevity: 6 hours. Projection: Low, bursts. Scent: 6/10. Emotional: Yes. Originality: 6.3/10. Price: 19.95€ (100ml). Recommended: Low.
I grabbed this on sale and blind, but the vibe tempted me: it smells of wild berries that smolder and turn creamy. Think cobbler’s leather, ash, and marzipan. Perfect for cold or mild weather, elegant without forcing you to wear a suit. Low projection, but it lingers on the skin for ten hours like magic.
We have to admit that Tuscan Leather created a trend in leather. In this Heritage oud, we find isobutyl quinoline again as the axis, but at contained intensity and sweetened. It creates a small personal bubble, with acceptable longevity of 7-8 hours. It’s completely linear. I loved the care of the box and bottle. At 14.95€, it’s highly recommended if you like these scents.
Tuscan Leather popularized leather scents, but this Heritage Oud tones down the isobutyl quinoline intensity and sweetens it. It creates a very closed, personal bubble lasting about 7-8 hours. It’s linear from start to finish. I love the box and bottle quality. At €14.95, it’s a sensible buy if you like this style.
I’ve had it for months and love it for the scent and price. Normally it costs around €15 and here it lasts 5-6 hours on the skin. Comparing it to Tom Ford is like comparing a Fiat to a Ferrari: both have four wheels, but they’re not the same. Many €60+ designer fragrances wouldn’t match this longevity. It’s ideal for approaching leather without pretensions. Better than cheap knock-offs like Divain.
I’ve had it for a few months and I love it, especially for the scent and price. What can you ask for from a 15€ fragrance that lasts 5-6 hours on skin? I’ve read comparisons to TF, forgetting that they cost 50ml for 200€!!! Comparing this to a Ferrari is exaggerated. Many 60€ brands would kill for this longevity. It’s good for getting into leather, with no higher pretensions. Recommended purchase before imitations like Divain or Refan.
Great perfume for performance and price. It doesn’t have the quality of the niche scents it reminds you of, but for those who want to try leather and oud (undeclared notes) with smoky wood and amber, it can satisfy many beginners and non-demanding veterans. The projection for the first two hours is spectacular, then it fades into a pleasant but one-note sillage. Ideal for autumn-winter and evening-night, without standing out, for guys who have passed thirty. Cheers.
Great performance for the price. It doesn’t have the quality of the niche scents it reminds you of, but for sampling leather, oud (even if not declared), smoky wood, and amber, it’s perfect for beginners or less demanding veterans. Projection is spectacular for the first two hours, then settles into a pleasant sillage. Ideal for autumn, winter, and nights. Recommended for people over thirty.
I tried it out of curiosity thinking it was similar to Tuscan Leather, and it was a mistake. It gave me a headache and made me want to take it off. The scent itself could be a mediocre match to the dry-down of the original (which is the part I like least), but it’s like comparing a draftsman to a classical painter. In perfumes, that difference is between a headache and a good experience. Tuscan Leather isn’t the 8th wonder of the world nor is it overpriced, but it’s pleasant; this Heritage Oud has nothing but the price. For €20 there are much better fragrances. Goodbye.
I tried it out of curiosity after hearing it was similar to Tuscan Leather. Big mistake! It gave me a headache and made me want to take it off my wrist. The scent itself might be a moderately reasonable likeness to the dry-down of the original (which is the part I like least), but it’s like comparing a draftsman to a classical painter. In perfumes, that’s the difference between a headache and enjoyment. Tuscan Leather isn’t the 8th wonder (it’s overpriced), but it’s pleasant and well-made; this Heritage Oud has nothing but the price. At 20€, there are superior fragrances. Goodbye.
I still have it in my stash. It’s a high percentage of the Tuscan Leather Tom Ford and La Yukawam Rasasi leather phase, but less fruity and more modern and wearable. I never detect fruit or raspberry, nor do the declared notes stand out on their own. The cade petroleum is what gives it the air similar to Tom Ford or Rasasi. But the results are more in line with young perfumery, wearable today, without such a classic base. If you find it, it’s a good buy and it worked for me as a gift. The price was a laugh.
Still have it in my stash. It reminds me a lot of Tuscan Leather and La Yuqawam in the leather phase, but it’s more modern and wearable. I don’t detect fruit or raspberry, nor isolated notes; the resemblance to Tom Ford or Rasasi comes from the cade petroleum. The results fit today’s younger perfumery better, without such a classic base. If you find it, it’s a good buy and works as a gift. The price was a laugh.
I liked it. Maybe I’ll get criticized, but this Heritage Oud doesn’t smell much like Tuscan Leather to me. To me, the original smells like leather with clear raspberry, while this Beverly Hills Polo Club doesn’t seem like leather, although the cade petroleum note is well-worked and a bit confusing. The opening is pleasant with cardamom and citrus. The development has thyme and synthetic smoky wood, friendly and understandable. The base softens the tar with vetiver. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s modern, sensual, and elegant. Good projection and longevity. Modest but well-made, great value.
I enjoyed the experience. Maybe I’ll get criticized, but this Heritage Oud doesn’t remind me as much of Tuscan Leather. To me, that one smells like leather with clear raspberry, while this doesn’t, although the cade petroleum note is so well-made it’s confusing. I was surprised by the opening: aromatic cardamomo barely refreshed by citrus. The development is interesting, with thyme and synthetic smoky wood, friendly and understandable. The base softens the cade petroleum with evident vetiver. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s pleasant, modern, and sensual/elegant for its price. Projection and longevity are good. A modest product but well-crafted. Not my first choice, but it counts for a lot regarding cost/benefit.
If you’re looking for synthetic leather and oud (even if they don’t say so) for 15-25€, this sells without a prescription and I like it quite a bit. Tuscan Leather is far behind; here we have something tough, spiced, and smoky with a surprising development for the price. It opens citrusy-spicy and then settles into a sweet, smoky, almost petrolic oud. It’s super synthetic but warm and pleasant, much better than Penthouse Windsor Rue Broca. It gives comfort, ideal for cold weather. Try it before buying.
Honestly… it smells like sewage.
At first, I was a bit scared, but then I realized it has character. I always look for longevity and sillage, and for this price, it’s a gem. It’s not for everyone because of the strong oud, but it pleasantly surprised me. The brand offers real quality compared to its cost.
