Smells like those heart-shaped perfumed candies, but not overly sweet. It’s soft, lasts well, and the best part is that the price is a steal for something so lovely.

Sublime floral fragrance: elegant, vibrant, luminous, powdery, fresh with spicy, earthy, mossy notes, and just the right amount of sweetness. I love it for the scent and because it’s super versatile. In short, it’s a tightly bound red rose, complete with stem and leaves, slightly effervescent and lively especially at the start, with hints of amber and vanilla (even though they don’t list it), over a very woody base. Grise has a luxurious nature and a mysterious air. Worth trying, but don’t buy it blindly. Moderate to high performance.

Just bought this because it’s a chypre (one of my favorite families). Grise is delicious, incredibly elegant, and has great longevity. It’s totally genderless: my nephews (in their mid-twenties) loved it so much they even wanted to buy it themselves. They say it’s a dupe for Dior’s Gris, a fragrance I don’t know, so I can’t comment on that. But that note reference pushed me to buy Grise by MA, and I’m glad I did. It can be worn any time of year.
