It smells of earth, leather, and minerals. I don’t know why, but it reminds me much more of that discontinued, watery classic Shiseido Basala.
The opening doesn’t let me notice the bergamot, but I do feel that vanilla-like touch from the habanaka, a fine rose, soft clove, and a delicious incense that is its strong note. I loved it. It projects for 4 hours and leaves a moderate skin trail until the 6th hour.
Black Agent is a very pleasant surprise. To me, it’s like a child between Spicebomb and Man in Black. The opening confirmed it instantly. I sense a sensual, dark pink pepper from the sweet incense and vetiver. It projects well for the first hour and then becomes more discreet. At 20-22 euros, it’s a great option for autumn/winter or night outings.
What a pleasant surprise this Black Agent is. In my opinion, it’s as if V&R Spicebomb and Bvlgari Man in Black had a child. The opening reminded me of Man in Black instantly. In my case, it highlights a sensual, dark pink pepper thanks to the sweet incense and vetiver. Good projection for the first hour, then it stays discreet. For those 20-22 euros, it’s a great option for autumn/winter or informal night outings.
It’s a fragrance that doesn’t leave anyone indifferent, very pleasant. The opening is dense, complex, and balanced, but soon it reveals its true face: much softer and subtler. It’s a winter beauty, totally unisex, perfect for going out at night. The trail and longevity are good: present but not intrusive. Black Agent leaves an impression of more than acceptable quality with an obvious resemblance to Spicebomb. Great value for money.
Starts with a potent, boozy alcohol that reminded me of Bentley Intense, but then it separates: here we have incense, violet liqueur, and an elegant touch blending musk, florals, and pepper. It’s a steal, though it outshines Drakkar Noir in richness and herbal notes. The projection is moderate, which is a plus since it’s not annoying. It resembles Spicebomb without the cinnamon, though it doesn’t reach its complexity, and calls to mind Bvlgari Man in Black, albeit with less refinement. I wear it on the sides under my shirt, and if I sweat, it gently reactivates. Given the price and current reformulations, it’s an excellent option by elimination.
