Descripción

Ghost by Ghost is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2000, the nose behind this composition is Michel Almairac. The top notes unfold a floral elegance with rose and jasmine; the heart reveals a warm blend of vanilla, peach, and amber; while the base notes land on a sensual foundation of musk and sandalwood.

  • I bought it blind based on the good reviews. It smells of powdery, sweet, and caramelized roses, but in a serious way—not gourmand. It would be perfect for a funeral or mass; it has a somber, almost ghostly touch. Over time, it becomes sweeter and less eerie. Pleasant and harmless aroma, but it doesn’t stand out. Important: I haven’t received a single compliment wearing it.

  • It’s a British fragrance, very Anglo. Delicate and hard to pin down, it works the rose in an almost spiritual way. The sandalwood blends well with the musk in the dry down, even though they’re opposites. It serves its purpose of bringing serenity. It’s interesting and worth a try for a spring or summer evening, provided it’s not too hot and you’re not looking for something cheerful.

Selling my 5ml EDT mini today so someone can find a new owner. I’ve had it for three years and it’s still unopened. I love the little bottle, but the scent isn’t for me—it feels heavy and aggressive despite its innocent appearance. It has tricky notes like musk, sugar, and powdery rose. It starts with crystallized jasmine and heavy roses, then softens into a sweet, powdery mess that eventually fades into that powdery scent. I wouldn’t recommend it without trying it first. Moderate sillage and lasts about 4 hours with light application.

I’m dying to add this to my collection; it’s not sold here. I wore it years ago and fell in love, but I was young and only working to pay for my studies. When I finally wanted to buy it, it was out of stock, and I’ve searched every store in the area without finding anything even close. I adore that powdery rose, exactly how Ghost handles it.
