  • To me, this is the most synthetic Tom Ford fragrance I’ve heard. The lavender gives me migraines, so I can’t wear it, though I like those two notes. I gifted it to someone, and when I smelled it on them, it was much more acceptable to me, with the lavender completely imperceptible. So, while tastes vary, I don’t see it as that unisex.

  • UnTalArmas

A scent you must try before buying. A strong and pleasant opening where leather and vanilla dominate with a slight touch of lavender. As it dries down, the leather becomes very dominant with vanilla in the background; I think it’s very masculine. Longevity is excellent, projection is acceptable, and it feels like a night fragrance, especially in autumn and winter. The recommendation is to test it before buying due to the price; you can’t afford to buy blindly.

  • OpiumYSL

It didn’t blow my mind, but between this Fucking Fabulous and Oud, I’m sticking with this one because it doesn’t feel as feminine or aggressive. Oud is very aggressive with a lot of leather. But we’ll keep testing this fucking fabulous one to see how it goes.

  • luisferg98

This is legendary: you either hate it or love it; there’s no middle ground. They tried to pull off a crazy experiment here, resulting in a weird but incredibly peculiar and amazing scent that truly honors its name—it’s fucking fabulous. In my opinion, it’s in Tom Ford’s top 3 alongside Tuscan/Ombré Leather and Noir Extreme. We have lavender, lots of vanilla, exquisite bitter almond, and leather—a rare but original combination that blew my mind. I hope they release it in the commercial line because it’s pricey; I bought 50ml for $400 and it’s worth it. I consider it unisex, projects well for about 2 hours, and lasts 8-10 hours without issues. It clings to clothes a lot. I’d recommend not buying it blindly due to the price; test it first. The bottle design is also very cool.

  • Delicious. Out of all the Tom Ford scents I’ve tried so far, this is one of my favorites. The bitter almond note stands out, a note that has had me head-over-heels since Pegasus. In this FF, it takes a different path—darker, more masculine, and intimate, yet equally strange and mysterious. Unfortunately, due to the price, it’s far out of my reach.

  • @margott you should respect all opinions. It’s very bold to say that perfume lovers are just following collective suggestion and call us sheep for buying it.

  • A fragrance you must smell and test on your skin before buying. The opening is extraordinary and lives up to its name: leather, vanilla, lavender, tonka bean, and a hint of caramel. It’s vibrant and attractive. Then it evolves with white woods, lily, and amber, though the leather stays central. It’s a must for anyone diving into niche perfumery. The blend creates a unique, distinguished, and luxurious scent—very sensual and perfect for close-to-skin occasions. Pros: unique and hard-to-imitate aroma, smells extremely luxurious, and the opening is masterful. Cons: it’s expensive, and its sillage/longevity are moderate. You won’t get many compliments due to limited projection; only those who intentionally get close will notice.

Maybe for very expert and picky noses, but I couldn’t handle this mess. It’s a strange, dark scent that smells synthetic and like burnt suede with a bitter floral touch, probably from the almond. For the price, it’s a rip-off. Nothing compares to Tobacco Vanille or Tuscan Leather. Damn, this has nothing to do with Fabulous; it smells like melted wigs with cheap cleaner and shoe polish. It has luxury ingredients but a grotesque combination that lingered on my wrist for hours; a real disaster.

  • It’s not as dark as Tuscan Leather; it’s more like Ombré Leather—soft with sweet notes that don’t feel heavy. I loved it in winter when temperatures were below 60°F, but in summer, it’s way too much.

  • Incrediblerodo

Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous is one of my favorite fragrances; I absolutely adore it and it never fails to make me sigh. It’s a solid 10 out of 10.

  • I’m a Tom Ford fanatic, and this fragrance is an absolute gem in the exquisite line. It has a floral and powdery opening that even makes you think of something feminine, but soon the leather, vanilla, and almond kick in, which is what projects more in the first hour. Once it settles, after two hours, the leather takes over, but not like in Ombre or Tuscan Leather, but rather a more floral and powdery one. It’s a special scent, not something to buy blindly; I can’t find anything similar. The first hour has beastly projection; for me, it projected for 1.5 hours, 2 hours without fail. On skin, it lasts over 8 hours. From my perspective, it’s not an all-rounder; it’s for special moments, cold days, and nights.

  • If you mix a custard dessert with walnuts, body milk, and talc with walnut shells… you have the main aroma of this perfume. It’s silky, creamy, melting, almond-y, light yet powerful, dense, and corporeal, milky. It reminds me of coffee-with-milk candies and almond dulce de leche. Perhaps the perfect image is a summer night on a gelato shop terrace with a large cup of custard and walnuts with syrup, an umbrella, and a sparkling sparkler. Or simply pure bitter almond. Judge for yourselves.

  • Alanirde11

I tried it before, and today they delivered it; honestly, they skipped the opening notes because within seconds it smells like fine leather, almond, and vanilla. I’ve never noticed declared notes working so well as in this Tom Ford. It’s a very wearable and pleasant scent, nothing dark or mysterious, more commercial. Top-notch quality, we’ll see how the longevity holds up.

  • gabit0nce

Absolute gem, but it has two downsides: the price and the fact that I bought the Arabic clone Fabulo Intense to wear it more often without spending so much. And honestly, the clone lasts longer on my skin than the original Tom Ford.

  • Alberto Brarda

I tried it once. What is that thing that smells at the beginning? Is it me or is it something horrendous? The dry-down is another story, I like it.

  • Gentil vagabond

A spicy, unique, and well-made fragrance; the price is too high as always for the brand, the projection is very potent and the dry-down is subtle, highly recommended.

  • Claudioargento89

Smells like bitter almond, leather, with a sweet touch of vanilla and tonka, though the opening is tricky and smells like bedbugs or katanga.

  • Honestly, it smells clean and sexy—perfect for night out, whether casual or formal. The almond note adds a formal touch, but the dry down stays sweet and vanilla-like with that clean scent. Ideal for the office or a select event. The best TF I’ve tried so far.

  • Black licorice opening with a hint of lavender followed immediately by musk that dominates everything even if it’s not on the label. That clean addictive soap scent is pure musk or something very similar. Bitter notes prevail with a sweet counterpoint. Almond leather—I can’t quite put my finger on the rest—but it’s all mixed together brilliantly. Impressive intensity and quality that lifts the soul. The talc-like creaminess wraps everything up while the tonka bean elevates it on the top notes. After the initial burst it becomes almost flat and that’s perfectly fucking fabulous. It leaves me speechless; it’s amazing. A Swiss Army knife for any occasion. Tom Ford never disappoints. The only question is whether it will get tiring or become common in the nose. Either way everyone else loves it so you have to try it more. Again I wouldn’t pay what they’re asking not even in my wildest fantasies of wealth. Ladies and gentlemen look for clones get close to the sun but don’t burn yourself on the way.

  • Gian Arévalo

The name fits perfectly. When you’re overexposed to current designer vanilla perfumes (JPG, PR, etc.), you realize they’re all the same because they share bases, so nothing surprises anymore. Just like certain leather perfumes that tend to be very aggressive and animalistic. Then comes this fragrance that mixes those notes in such a perfect and unique way that it gives you pleasure to smell it, and your nose is capable of appreciating and understanding it. Over time, it becomes more and more addictive; you don’t want to stop using it. Performance is excellent (10h+), with 5 sprays it’s great, 8+ if you want to burn noses. In the air, it’s imposing, it smells like what it costs, and people will know that without a doubt. It’s exclusively for winter; even in autumn it gets cloying. Its MA dupe is very similar but lacks certain molecules that make it feel inert, like a dental piece with endodontics; it works but lacks life.

  • Maverick Jessu

I feel like I’ve already smelled something similar, probably from some magazine 🤔, so a vintage scent comes to mind. I notice it’s very unisex and somewhat mature. As for longevity and projection, it’s a beast. I don’t like it, nor does it disgust me. Don’t buy blindly.

  • Tom Ford’s Fucking Fabulous combines mainly leather and almond with the aromatic touch of lavender. I must admit it’s a hugely original scent; I’ve never perceived such a profile. Still, it’s a fragrance I dislike immensely; I’ve tried and worn it numerous times and can’t understand or share the positive comments. I recommend you try it and draw your own conclusions; you might love it, or like me, you might hate it.

  • Le Changonguiers

Tom Ford perfumes are extremely difficult, and this is no exception, at least for me. Let’s put it in context: it smells like a freshly bathed baby when his grandfather picks him up and gives him a whack of stale tobacco on the poor creature. That’s your Fucking Fabulous for 11,200 Mexican pesos at Palacio de Hierro. Absolutely not because it generates supreme disgust in me.

  • elgranpol69

Many reviews come from trying it in an airport or a fleeting visit to a perfumerie: a spray from a poorly stored bottle under harsh lights… that just doesn’t work. After years of use, I’m reviewing it with more knowledge. It’s an iris perfume with a huge load of this ingredient of very high quality, acting as a cohesive glue that makes it special and unique, despite so many failed inspirations lacking proper iris. It’s the Tom Ford version of the leather, iris, and tonka perfumes that everyone loves today and that every brand should have, like Dior, Prada, Givenchy, etc. It starts with lavender and sage with metallic undertones settling over a base of bitter almond, leather, and vanilla, culminating in a very integrated orris patina, hard to perceive as such, but there to make everything sparkle, make sense, and be an elegant, warm, and original work of art. It feels like a delight that makes you feel secure, important, happy, and grateful to be alive. Despite its unjustified price and poor performance (on my skin it lasts 4 or 5 hours), it’s incredible.

  • This doesn’t smell like ‘I like your perfume.’ It smells like ‘Who the hell are you and why do I want to keep smelling you?’ Don’t expect compliments. It opens with bitter almond and surgical lavender: clean but with bad intentions. The leather kicks in quickly, rough and dominant, like you’re in an art gallery smelling of whip and expensive champagne. Tonka and cashmere give it body, but without softening it entirely. It doesn’t want to please you; it wants to mark you. Powerful projection, obscene longevity. It’s not seductive in the classic sense; it’s a perfume that doesn’t ask for permission, and if you need to ask, this isn’t for you. Is it worth the cost? If you have personality and budget: yes. If not, you’ll smell like you’re in disguise.

  • I don’t know, it’s not a bad perfume, but it is a bit difficult to wear. To me, it smells like metallic soap. It’s clean, but I’m not sure if I’d recommend it for daily use or specifically for a date.

  • xavi40rios

Bought this in Bern, Switzerland. Didn’t plan to, but when I smelled it at the Tom Ford counter, wow, I was instantly hooked. It smells like heavy leather, woody, with hints of vanilla and sandalwood. The longevity and sillage are excellent; it lasted on my skin from morning till night, about 15 hours. The price is steep, but it’s absolutely worth it. It’s one of my favorites from the Private Blend line, and as the name says, it smells fucking fabulous. Giving it a 10/10.

  • ElLocoDeLosPerfumes

It’s a shame that Fragrantica doesn’t incorporate excellent fragrances from my country, Argentina. I don’t have the original because its price exceeds the minimum wage for any worker in my country; it’s exclusive. But I smelled it in a perfumery and now I’m using FCKNG Fashion by Yves D’orgeval, an Argentine brand of dupes, and it’s very similar; you can feel the iris (though synthetic) and it lasts a long time. Recommended for fellow countrymen. Buy blind for $20-25.

  • This is the epitome of contemporary perfumery: misunderstood genius, bottled class and sophistication. Sublime and irreplaceable, an ode to perfumery itself. My words fall short in expressing my passion for this strong, beautiful scent that almost touches perfection and condemns the ignorance of anyone who dismisses it. Loved by those, like me, who know how to appreciate this work of art, because it goes beyond a simple fragrance. Its interpretation of sweet and bitter almonds with a constant leather note is sublime, free of pretension: sometimes dusty almonds, other times with a hint of tobacco, but always with a strong, elegant, and classy character. The ultimate representation of elegance, longevity, and trail, ideal only for special, formal, and intimate occasions in cold weather.

  • FF by Tom Ford is a rather unique perfume with a lot of personality; this obviously isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who already have a broad knowledge of perfumery. The quality with which it’s built is bottled genius. To be objective, this fragrance got me compliments every time I dressed in black or formally. Also, over time using it, I perceived that people don’t understand what they’re smelling; they just say ‘What scent is that, come closer so I can notice it,’ implying the perfume draws attention, but in its own way. Fragrance: 10/10 Longevity: 8.2/10 Originality: 9.2/10 Compliments: 7.5/10 Fucking Fabulous: 10/10

There are perfumes that simply exist. And others, very few, that impose their presence as a living declaration. Tom Ford’s Fucking Fabulous doesn’t ask for permission: it bursts in, conquers, and stays. For me, it’s one of the great exponents of contemporary perfumery. It’s bottled luxury, refined arrogance, pure power. This fragrance doesn’t just smell good; it’s an attitude, a way of being in the world. It evokes someone secure, sophisticated, with impeccable manners, shining with elegance and sensuality. A natural seducer, charismatic, magnetic, and yes, perhaps a bit selfish… but irresistibly charming. The type who walks into a room and without saying a word has already said everything. I remember the first time I tried it. I didn’t know what I was smelling, but its name—provocative and bold—was too short to describe the awe. I applied a single spray at 2 pm and couldn’t stop smelling myself every few minutes. Each inhalation revealed a new dimension, a new detail, as if the fragrance unfolded layer by layer. That night, before saying anything, a friend told me: ‘Man, you smell damn good. What did you put on?’ The scent is hypnotic. It opens with a unique lavender, far from classic barber shop codes. Here, lavender is bold, modern, sensual. It’s wrapped in impeccable quality black leather: neither warm nor cold, perfectly balanced, with a provocative and almost narcissistic attitude. The leather intertwines with a powdery iris that adds dusty elegance, while bitter almonds and white woods add depth. All this is gently caressed by a subtle amber that adds a golden warmth, as if fingertips were stroking a shiny surface. Fucking Fabulous isn’t a perfume you simply wear. It’s a perfume that takes you. It transforms you. It invites you to act with more aplomb, style, and intention. It’s an extension of character, a personal manifesto that feels as much as it smells. I can’t find words to do it justice. Saying it’s ‘art’ seems too short. But if art is what moves, transforms, and leaves a mark, then Fucking Fabulous is, without a doubt, a masterpiece. Thanks to Tom Ford for making this creation possible, marking history in fashion and perfumery, and contributing jewels like Tuscan Leather, Ombre Leather, Tobacco Vanille, Noir de Noir, Oud Wood, Black Orchid, Tobacco Oud, Costa Azurra, and almost all his perfumes. All reflect a fragment of his soul: sophisticated, sensual, bold, unforgettable. ‘This is Fucking Fabulous’.

  • An exquisite perfume dominated by lavender and chamomile; that floral duo is very pleasant and intense for the first hour. Afterwards, very balanced, iris, leather, and vanilla interact, giving the perfume a very pleasant depth. Excellent longevity and projection, a perfume for any occasion, very wearable for both sexes.

  • Marco Tabollo

The name says it all. The moment you apply the first spray, it surprises you with lavender and a creamy, bitter almond. As minutes pass, leather and tonka bean join in. Finally, at skin level, it leaves an exceptional combination: aromatic flowers, leather, and a clean scent. More than a fragrance, it’s an attitude. It’s one of those perfumes that gives you personality and fills you with ego. I’d define it as sexy, bold, elegant, sophisticated, provocative, irreverent, and even despotic. If someone smells it, they’ll ask: ‘What the hell are you wearing?!’ For all these reasons, it’s my favorite perfume and my secret weapon. Without a doubt, a masterpiece. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 9/10 Trail: 8/10 Projection: 8/10 Conclusion: If you have niche experience, try it, but keep in mind it’s polarizing; you’ll either love it or hate it.

  • Katsudannagoesgreen

On me, Fucking Fabulous smells like mixing The Honeykeeper lavender shampoo with a pinch of oregano using a silver spoon over a clean, fresh sweater, all with that elegant, eccentric finish very typical of the brand. I loved it: it had a one-meter trail for five hours before settling to skin-level. It stands out greatly on cashmere. The first time I used it, I noticed it didn’t evolve, staying the same from start to finish, which I appreciated. It’s totally unisex, with a sweet nuance but nothing gourmand, perfect for a cold day. However, wearing it under the heat of my old car at a McDonald’s drive-thru at 3 pm was overwhelming. It’s a perfume that demands fresh weather to shine.

  • Woman in Love

It’s a gorgeous scent. Brutal and incredibly attractive, like being hugged by a confident man in an expensive leather jacket… who just took a cough syrup. I see it as more masculine than unisex, though that depends on personal taste. The longevity and trail are excellent.

  • If anyone tried it, confirm it… It’s a CLONE of Kenzo Homme Boisse 2010 (no longer sold), just with a cool name and three times the price. That said, it’s magnetic and potent like its predecessor. I owned the original, and this Tom Ford version is just as fabulous.

  • Fucking Fabulous is the type of guy in jeans and a leather jacket that everyone stares at: a bit arrogant, mysterious, and dangerously seductive.
