Another Avon hit that I absolutely love: smells great, pretty, and simple, with a playful touch. Although the notes are synthetic, they’re executed really well; Expressions doesn’t smell cheap. It’s an intense garden of white flowers, featuring gardenia, lily of the valley, and jasmine; they’re fresh with that clean, soapy vibe I assume comes from the lily. The evolution is linear, which I like, because I enjoy those unexpected bursts of white flowers. The longevity is weak and the projection is moderate for the first hour, just the right balance between price and product that Avon offers. Bravo to Avon for trying to bring back those past glories like Timeless, Charisma, and their girls’ lines.
