  Stronger With You Sandalwood is woody, spicy, and balsamic. The opening carries the line’s DNA with a chestnut aroma, slightly spiced, and a subtle touch of vanilla. Within a few minutes, you can detect the sandalwood, but its arrival in the foreground is slow; for a long time, the chestnut note dominates. After about 2 hours, the sandalwood along with a balsamic accord become the protagonists until the very end. It’s suitable for autumn, winter, and fresh spring days, ranging from casual wear to formal occasions or night outs. Longevity was good, lasting around 10 hours, with a notable sillage during the first 2 or 3 hours before it settles a bit. I prefer it in its dry-down phase when the sandalwood really shines; the downside is that it takes a while to get there. A plus is that it lacks the sweetness of other versions in the line like Intensely, so it might be less appealing to those who love the sweeter iterations.

  To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of the Stronger With You line because they tend to be overly sweet and heavy, but I absolutely loved this sandalwood flanker. At first, it smells like one of the most realistic leathers I’ve ever encountered: like brand-new leather shoes, belts, or handbags—vanilla-infused and softly smoky. After 10 minutes, the signature sweet and caramelized DNA of SWY emerges, but with smoky, aromatic, freshly cut wood chips, the kind used for smoking food. It’s these hot, smoky sandalwood chips that permeate everything, making it sublime and sophisticated. As it dries down, the sandalwood becomes creamy, refined, and slightly dry, like a cedar board spread with coconut cream, lasting up to 8 hours on skin or days on clothes. It’s relaxing and evokes contrasting images: a man in a modern patio by the sea, sitting on the sand in a leather jacket during autumn, gathering wet wood for a bonfire while watching the sunset. I’ll be wearing it for Christmas and Valentine’s Day; it’s warm, woody, smoky, and sensual. It exceeded my expectations.

Armani surprises us with a flanker that follows the SWY DNA but adds a woody touch: formal, sweet, dark, and refined. Perfect for special occasions or as a signature scent if you love it. If you want something similar, smell a stalk of bamboo with a hint of pink pepper; it literally smells like that, slightly smoky, as if you were close to a bonfire. My favorite fragrance so far.

  Bought it blind and it was a hit. I wore it in the morning and it still has incredible performance at night. The sweet sandalwood is the key note; sometimes it smells like iris makeup, but then it transforms into that sandalwood that accompanies the entire evolution. A great example of longevity and nuclear projection in designer perfumes. Elegant, perfect for events, gatherings, or dinners. Don’t use it in very hot climates or at the beach, it can be overwhelming. Great perfume!

  Very SWY opening, reminiscent of Rosendo Mateu 5 or Ish Al Shuyuk Gold, with a quick dry-down into an incredibly rich sandalwood like Santal Redden by Alvarez Gomez. Lasts about 4 hours, just right. If it lasted longer, it would be spectacular.

It’s a great example of how designer perfumes can offer longevity and nuclear sillage. It’s elegant, perfect for events, important meetings, or dinners. Just don’t wear it in very hot climates or at the beach; it can be overwhelming. Great perfume!

  Amazing! My favorite right now. This SWY becomes creamier thanks to the vanilla and sandalwood. In fact, someone told me it smelled like ‘huggable marshmallow’ and they were spot on.

  Masterpiece! A creamy, rich sandalwood with a Stronger With You base. Lasts incredibly long on skin. It didn’t project much for me, but I’m sure it does; I could still smell it on my skin at 6 hours, so maybe it was just olfactory fatigue.
