Stronger With You Powerfully pleasantly surprised me. When I tried it, I thought it would be a direct mix of Intensely and Parfum, an intermediate point. And partly, it delivers: it really smells like those two had a child. But Powerfully has its own spicy nuance, with an opening where that cherry character appears clearly, very interesting and striking at the start. It doesn’t stay all the time, disappears quickly, but leaves a mark and resonates in the dry down. This is where it gets interesting: it brings me a distant, subtle reminiscence, almost a nod to By the Fireplace. It’s not a direct copy, but there’s something in that warm, enveloping, slightly smoky-sweet air that reminds me of it. If I describe it in percentages: 40-45% Intensely, 40% Parfum, and that remaining 10-15% is that By the Fireplace touch that gives it depth, a point more adult and sexy.
Taking off the haters who write here: tested on skin, it smells like Intensely + Absolutely with a subtle cherry and smoky touch. It’s a bomb: projects for 3-4 hours without drama, then lasts on skin as long as the PSOE in government.
Unlike its siblings, it’s not cloying and is wearable daily without drawing too much attention. I loved it; the cherry isn’t the main note but it’s noticeable. Lasts about 8 hours (2-3 projecting), though I always carry a decant. For me, it’s an 8.5/10.
I’m going to avoid being like everyone else flipping out here: on skin, it smells like Intensely + Absolutly mixed together, with the addition of a subtle cherry and a certain smokiness. Now, it’s a bomb. It projects without exaggeration for 3-4 hours without issues and then lasts on skin as long as the PSOE in government.
Probably the worst in the line. It smells boring, indistinguishable, and very different from the stated notes. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s monotonous. The cherry must be in the color, because in the scent it’s imperceptible. It smells like Mercadona perfume, and charging 125 euros is ridiculous; at most 40, and even then. Although I’m not a huge fan of SWY or designer perfumes in general, this Parfum version or Intensely are a thousand times better. A similar but more complete scent is Jazz Club by Margiela, although I also talk a lot about that one.
Strong With You Powerfully caught me off guard. I thought it would be a straight hybrid between Intensely and Parfum, and partly it is: it’s like they had a baby. But it has its own spiced character and a very striking cherry opening that fades quickly, leaving a mark in the dry down. It subtly reminds me of By the Fireplace, that warm and smoky vibe. In percentages: 40-45% Intensely, 40% Parfum, and 10-15% that mature By the Fireplace touch.
I tried it yesterday at Druni and the truth is I can’t find anything that differentiates it from the others. If you look MUUUCHO, you smell that cherry they say it has, but it’s noticeable NOTHING. It’s more hype than anything else. Oh, by the way, that ‘cherry’ lasts about 10 minutes; after that, the fragrance transforms into a plain Stronger With You EDT.
That twist with the cherry is very interesting. Potent and very wearable; I thought it would be like its sisters, but it’s more for daily use since it’s not so sweet. Pleasant surprise, the opening is a bit feminine but the dry down is very good. Youthful, but not like the others. Many ask between Scandal Elixir and this… for me the winner in performance and scent, thanks to the longer-lasting cherry, is Stronger Powerfully.
I tried it yesterday at Druni and can’t find anything that differentiates it from the others. Only if you look closely do you smell that cherry they say it has, but it’s barely noticeable; it’s more hype than reality. That ‘cherry’ lasts about 10 minutes and then transforms into a plain Stronger With You EDT.
Ugh, the difference with Intensely is clear. They’re sisters, but this one came out much more exquisite. Longevity, projection, and sillage more than deliver, as is customary in the line. If you’ve finished a bottle of the family and are on the fence, just buy this one.
Unlike its sisters, it’s not cloying and is very wearable for daily use, without being showy, with that characteristic sweetness of the SWY line. I loved it, even though the cherry isn’t the main note, it is noticeable. Longevity is about 8 hours, projecting well for the first 2-3, although I always carry a decant. For me, it’s an 8.5/10.
Probably the worst in the line: boring, indistinguishable scent, and nothing like the listed notes. It’s not unpleasant, but monotonous; the cherry must be in the color because it’s imperceptible in the scent. It smells like a Mercadona perfume priced at 125 euros retail, which is absurd; at most 40, and even then. Even if I’m not a fan of SWY or designer perfumes, the Parfum or Intensely versions are a thousand times better. A similar but more complete scent is Jazz Club by Margiela, although that’s also an influencer perfume.
I tried it recently and the cherry note is barely noticeable. It feels more like a less potent version of Intensely. Nothing extraordinary.
Is it called Stronger With You Cherry? No, right? I read it doesn’t smell like cherry and it’s true. You have to distinguish between the lead note and an accompanying ingredient; in SWY it’s the chestnut. I love cherry and expected something more pronounced, but Armani wasn’t going that way. It’s not fair to blame others for my false expectations. If you want cherry to the max, buy Scandal Elixir, which is the best in its line and absolutely enchanting. SWY Powerfully is similar to the rest but with its own touch, keeping that typical duration and sillage. Smells like cherry or not, SWY remains in the TOP of designer fragrances and gets me more compliments than anything else in my collection.
It has an Intensely vibe: the cherry is at full blast in a sweet, fruity opening that fades after a while. It’s bright, youthful, and although the bottle doesn’t say it, the skin confirms it. It’s good, but it doesn’t bring much novelty and can feel a bit repetitive. However, don’t let us be fooled by the labels: if it’s enjoyable for you or as a first impression, those ‘cons’ lose weight. Is it familiar? Yes. Is it too youthful? Also. Is the cherry not noticeable? Maybe. If the perfume is all that, it’s worth it. Judging quickly and dismissing it for being known doesn’t do justice to those trying it for the first time.
That’s what a flanker is all about: a variation of an existing perfume. I think we’ve gotten used to flankers that are completely different from the fragrance they flank, keeping the name only for commercial reasons.
Stronger With You Intensely Powerfully by Giorgio Armani: a new chapter in the line. Hearing ‘Powerfully’ makes you imagine more intensity, sweetness, and explosiveness compared to its siblings. But that’s not what happens. It gives the impression of ‘okay, okay, here we go again.’ If you know the line, you’ll notice it’s a flanker. The brown, lavender, and vanilla trio is undeniable, with no surprises. If it’s your first time smelling the saga, you might be more impressed. Is it enough to stand out? What does it bring that’s different? Visually, the wine-red bottle hints at something deep: cherry. Here’s the question: does the cherry have the starring role the bottle promises? The intention was good, but on my skin, the lavender drowns out the cherry, turning it into more of a Stronger With You DNA fragrance. It’s not bad, but it leaves a feeling of a missed opportunity. Although many will be happy to keep the identity intact. It’s sweet, but not an edible gourmand; rather, it’s a powdery, woody sweetness with a dry base. It’s not cloying, but it gets a bit tiring. It feels mature within its youthful style. Perfect for cold days, nights, and almost any situation where you want to smell attractive without taking risks. The projection… well, it’s a Stronger With You, so it makes a note of itself without being excessive. Like the whole line, you need ninja skills to close the bottle. I’d love for the cherry to last longer, to be the real twist. But maybe for next time. Is it powerful? Yes. Is it different? Not really. Does it smell good? Absolutely. My score: 8/10.
I don’t recommend buying it because it’s a Stronger With You with a Chupa Chups opening; it just doesn’t work. The base is serious, while the opening is youthful and feminine. Maybe it was made to attract a younger audience, but given the price, you’re better off buying the Intensely, which outshines it because it doesn’t have that discordant candy-cherry vibe.
Is it called Stronger With You Cherry? No, right? I’ve read it doesn’t smell like cherry, and that’s a lie. You have to distinguish between the main note and a background ingredient; here, the chestnut is the queen. I love cherry and expected something more pronounced, but Armani wasn’t going that way. It’s not fair to blame others for my own expectations. Want cherry from start to finish? Buy Scandal Elixir, which is the best in its line and absolutely enchanting. SWY Powerfully is just as potent as the rest of the family, with that unique touch that guarantees its longevity. Whether it smells like cherry or not, SWY remains at the top of designer perfumes and is the one that gets me the most compliments from the entire collection.
A brilliant goal, but a miss for Armani. Originality and creativity: 404 error. It reminds me of when you were little: ‘Hey, can I copy your homework?’ ‘Sure, just change it a little so the teacher doesn’t notice.’ That’s the definition of SWY Powerfully. Basically, it’s an Intensely + Absolutely with a cherry note that disappears in 30 minutes. The rest is a copy. No glory, no shame. I pity anyone who paid almost $80 for this. Luckily, I only have decants. I’d only consider buying it if you own absolutely nothing else by SWY.
It’s true that the cherry is noticeable at the start and gradually fades, but thanks to that cherry-forward opening, the perfume has a unique point within the line, always maintaining the Stronger With You base. I find it a charming fragrance, very long-lasting with great sillage that won’t go unnoticed. Personally, it’s one of the best scents of the year, and it’s already February.
Bought this as a birthday gift for myself and fell in love at first sniff. There’s nothing as rich as this. I know it depends on taste but I was blown away by how addictive it is. I always say try before you buy but I recommend getting it because it’s a work of art. I haven’t even debuted it yet but it turns heads; if you want a woman to lose her mind over you or refuse to let you go this is what you need. The blend of plum woods vanilla and nuts is what makes it so sticky. I put one spray on my wrist and it projects a ton—I can’t imagine wearing three. Be careful not to overdo it because it can be overwhelming but seriously it’s incredible. The longevity is easily over 10 hours; the first 6 are very present and the last ones cling right to the skin. I genuinely recommend it: the $140 was the best investment of my life.
Stronger With You Intensely Powerfully by Armani: a new chapter in the saga. Upon hearing ‘Powerfully,’ one expects an explosion, more sweetness, and overshadowing the siblings, but that’s not the case. It gives the impression of ‘okay, again.’ If you know the line, you’ll know it’s a flanker with the chestnut-lavanda-vanilla trio; no surprises. If it’s your first time, it might impact you more. Does it stand out? Visually, the wine-red bottle promises cherry, but on my skin the lavender drowns it out, making it more SWY DNA. It’s not bad, but I feel a missed opportunity. It’s sweet, but not gourmand; rather powdery, woody, with a dry base. It’s not cloying but gets a bit tiring; mature style with a youthful vibe. Ideal for cold weather or night. Projection is good, typical of the line, and the bottle is hard to close. I would have liked the cherry to last longer as a distinctive twist. Powerful? Yes. Different? Not so much. Smells good? Absolutely. Rating: 8/10.
It’s a rich scent beyond the criticism from the line’s fanatics. If you don’t own all the SWYs and this is your first or second flanker I totally recommend it. It’s rich sensual pleasant and has great sillage. I own Natura’s Essencial Atrai and they smell very similar. If you’re looking for an affordable alternative that’s 70% alike and just as exquisite go for that keeping in mind the difference in potency. Uses: dates and intimate dinners. Ages: 20 and up. Climates: cold.
In my book a good flanker should maintain the essence add a distinctive twist differentiate itself and bring something new to the DNA. Stronger With You Powerfully just keeps the original aroma; it’s basically the same as the other flankers. It adds nothing to the line gets confused with any sibling and is used in the same situations. It’s a scam to trick the gullible into thinking the cherry note will add a twist (spoiler: it’s barely noticeable). Along with Acqua Di Gio EDP Intense Powerfully buries Armani as one of the most disappointing and boring houses of 2026.
The cherry note lasts 15 minutes then it smells exactly like the old batches of Intensely. Only buy this if you don’t already own any of the SWY line.
I created an account just to say this perfume is the same but IDENTICAL to the first batches of the SWY Intensely. It’s clear that Intensely has been reformulated and now smells spicier like the Parfum. It’s all a sales strategy gone wrong. It makes me angry because I instantly remember the scent that hooked me on the original Intensely. But fine 10/10 with an inflated price.
