The notes smell a bit medicinal, but it’s so addictive I can’t stop smelling my wrist. I don’t get the fruity, amber, and sweet vibe from the description; to me, it’s herbal, spicy, and musky. It’s not seductive or mysterious, more of a vintage fougère vibe—cool and serious. It’s like a spice bomb without the sweetness or youthful freshness, but hey, it’s delicious and looks great. Not bad at all.

I don’t know what’s up with Byredo’s plum, but that’s enough, right? This note, distilled like plum cake rather than fresh fruit, isn’t for everyone; it gives off a toy, nursery, play-doh vibe that’s a bit hard to swallow. Eleventh Hour tries to escape that, even sharing the same plum DNA as its sister scents, drowning in a citrus touch that almost reminds me of Hermès Merveilles. I liked it, but not enough to buy it, especially at that price, where I see Merveilles or Merveilles Bleue as more apt and better assembled.
I’ve tried other Byredo perfumes, but this is definitely my favorite. It has a touch of sweetness balanced by spices, making it a sexy and cozy scent. Every time I wear it, people ask what I’m wearing.

Very woody and aromatic. At first, it smells strong of rum, but it fades quickly on skin (total relief, I can’t stand rum). On skin, it becomes more pleasant with a sweet citrus touch from the fig, though it remains very woody. On paper, it smells damp, like the air after rain. I loved it, perfect for autumn and winter. The longevity is top-notch, just like all Byredos on my skin.
