  It’s the younger brother of Duran Duran, much more mischievous and playful; you can tell just by looking at the bottle’s colors. It features a very prominent fig with fruity, sweet notes over a dark base, which I imagine comes from saffron and Peru Balsam. I think it’s one of those fragrances you either love or hate; it can be a bit loud, but if you’re looking for something different and want to turn heads, this is perfect.

  I tried this launch yesterday that had me intrigued. At first, I smelled sweet fig mixed with rum and balsam. As it dried down, it became sweeter, ambered, with a smoky touch. It gives a barbecue vibe without losing its sweetness. The balsam always stands out on my skin. Ideal for very cold days or night outs. Just in case you’re wondering: yes, all four neon bottles smell the same.

  The first thing that comes to mind is black licorice; it smells exactly like that. Maybe due to the fig and rum blend… It’s a special, dark scent not for everyone. It’s voluptuous and nocturnal. The rum gives that warm amber heat, enveloping everything in a velvet, sensual intoxication. The fig adds a sweet, juicy note, but it’s not a normal fig—it’s more like a fig soaked in rum. The star is Peru Balsam, which gives it body and maturity, while the myrrh adds a carnal, animalic edge. The result is a mature, dense scent, perfect only for cold nights. But exquisite.

  At first, the alcohol hits a bit strong, but later everything blends perfectly. The honey is the star, wrapping everything in warmth. The Xerjoff rum (just like in Monkey Special) goes a little overboard at the start, but since it fades quickly, the final blend is spectacular. Moderate projection, but it lasts a long time. Scent 8.5/10, Projection 7/10, Longevity 9/10. Total 8.2. It feels like comforting honey!
