Dolce Amalfi by Xerjoff is an oriental fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2017, the nose behind this creation is Miroslav Petkov. The top notes are quince, cardamom, apple, and saffron; the heart notes are cloves, balsam of Peru, and frankincense; and the base notes are vanilla, amber, tonka bean, cedar, and musk.

Sweet vanilla base with cedar, where the quince takes the lead, paired with apple, cardamom, and other nuances. Feels creamy, linear, with good performance and unisex appeal. One of the best in the line alongside Mefisto, Lira, and Italica. Well below the radar despite being fantastic: rich, pleasant, and easy to wear. A great surprise.
A somewhat obscure Casamorati that surprises. Sweet vanilla base with green apple and sour quince, a smoky incense touch, and subtle spices. Versatile if it’s not hotter than 25 degrees (ideal between 10 and 20). Lasts over 10 hours on skin, projects well for the first 3-4 hours. I’ll use it occasionally to enjoy it; 50ml is enough. The name fits perfectly.
Can you fall in love with a perfume? Dry down smells like pleasant quince, then cloves, vanilla, and soft incense emerge. It conveys peace and makes me feel good. Lasts 6-11 hours (12 at night, 6 during the day). 100% recommended if you’re looking for something sweet.
I love it; it’s like adding quince paste to Lira. Great longevity with moderate projection.
Smells amazing, but the sweetness is too intense and it stopped me from buying it. I prefer its siblings, Lira and Dama Bianca.
It’s beautiful, but the clove note bothers me a bit; it smells like pink bubblegum, similar to Moschino. Not unpleasant, it’s refined, but I’ll give it a try in spring. Moderate sillage, lasts about 8 hours.
