Strawberries and Champagne by Victoria's Secret

This has been my icon since I was a teenager, just like the VS one. It’s not tiring, it’s unique, and there’s nothing like it. It came back in 2024-2025, but be careful—it doesn’t smell exactly like before. I don’t get bored of that scent, and the hand cream keeps the fragrance intact.

Refreshing… what does it smell like? Champagne with strawberries, nothing else. Delicious, delicate, boozy, and 100% feminine. One of my all-time favorite VS scents. It has a sparkling, almost citrusy opening, then leaves that strawberry sweetness on the skin. Perfect. It’s a body mist, so the longevity is short, but it’s great for refreshing the skin after a shower. I love it.

The moment I smelled it, it transported me to a camping vacation by a lake near my city. Interestingly, I don’t remember ever using a scent like this; reading reviews, I saw many people find it clean and soapy, just like the chamomile shampoo I used, which smelled the same as drying off in the sun at sunset. Besides the clean scent, I feel a sparkling, effervescent touch of champagne✨. It’s sweet, but I struggle to find the strawberry; to me, it seems more like raspberry, a bit more acidic. It’s summer here, so I’ll try it in winter with cooler temperatures.

I have the new version in cylindrical bottles, and it leans more toward champagne than strawberry. I get a citrusy vibe, like peach or unripe plum. It lasts longer than other VS mists, surpassing 6 hours with a wide trail.

I searched for it for a long time and managed to find an old triangular bottle before the 2020 reformulation. Although it smells good, its dry-down is the same as Bombshell but without the punch: very light, faint sillage, and short longevity unless you’re right next to it. Maybe it’s just time, but there are other BMs that are more potent. Pity.

I hunted down this discontinued gem, and although it wasn’t what I expected, I liked it.
