A safe but uninnovative bet from DKNY for this year where everything is coconut-themed. Smells quite naturally sweet and juicy coconut, very pleasant but not very long-lasting. I really like the coconut note for summer, so I’ll enjoy the perfume but won’t repurchase when it’s finished; I think there are many better coconuts out there.

  • Reminds me of that Revlon Coco Lime cologne I used to wear, but this one has better quality and lasts longer. The problem is I have a condition and I’m not sure if I’ll use it again: it has a burnt caramel note at the base that gives me a headache. It smells beautiful until that note appears and takes over. I had to gift it away on 3/25/2023; I can’t stand it, that burnt caramel note kills me.

  • I didn’t like it at all. It smells like very synthetic coconut, like cheap bathroom air freshener. The kind that gives you nausea.

  • Mmm, a disappointment… the opening smells like coconut with cucumber and two drops of mild vinegar, and that lasts for a while until only the coconut remains. Very far from that sweet little coconut they claim it is. I can’t find a moment or season to use it. I’d have to try layering it and figure out what it pairs best with. Edit!!!: A few days later I gave it to a friend, and it smelled great on her; she enjoyed it a lot during summer.

I got this through a swap and didn’t like it because it’s a designer fragrance, since a catalog perfume offers the same performance at a much lower cost. This is a generic, extremely simple aroma… it’s just sweet, flat coconut, with no personality. If you mix Kosiuko store scents from Argentina with Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen, voilà! You get this perfume. Up close, it lasts about five hours, but you have to spray a lot for others to even notice it. Forget about projection and sillage; any Impulse deodorant does a better job at those tasks. The fragrance isn’t unpleasant, however, so for all the reasons mentioned, I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • I read about COCO Summer Edition and thought ‘this has to be mine’. On the first spray, besides smelling coconut, I could also smell chamomile. Yes, chamomile. For the first 5 minutes. Then it faded and only the coconut remained. It’s not an evolving perfume, nothing extraordinary. I wouldn’t say it’s for summer because I feel it’s a bit heavy for the season. I applied it to my skin 3 hours ago and can only smell it by bringing my nose close. It leaves no trail. It’s a simple perfume with a coconut scent, but from a designer brand. Its value isn’t fair in terms of fragrance, longevity, and sillage.

It’s a simple coconut-scented fragrance from a designer house, but the price isn’t justified in terms of scent quality, longevity, and projection.

  • I like it, it didn’t blow my mind but it didn’t disappoint either. It’s nothing more than coconut. I feel like I once walked into a clothing store and that was the scent they used on the clothes. On my skin, it has good longevity and sillage. It’s for smelling good without overcomplicating things… that said, you really have to like coconut because it’s not just a note, it’s the ENTIRE PERFUME.

Soft aroma of coconut with cucumber and apple. It disappointed me. I thought it would surprise me, but it’s just another scent. Nothing extraordinary. I prefer the Guerlain one.

  • Something weird happened with this perfume. As soon as I heard about the launch, I wanted to try it. It didn’t surprise me (I expected something creamier, gourmand, and less citrusy at first), but I liked it and bought it. Yes, the opening has a citrusy note reminiscent of the Revlon Naté Naturals coconut and lime cologne I used to wear for a long time. At first, I thought I’d regret it running out, but now I’m sure I won’t repurchase. It becomes predictable and tiring quickly. Beyond that, with COVID in the mix, something happened. My husband and I lost our sense of smell for a couple of weeks. I think I recovered my “full” sense, but he started perceiving undeclared notes in my perfumes to the point of no longer tolerating them (I chose to wear this only when I wouldn’t be home all day). In short, in Be Delicious Coconut, he perceives a very strong, almost unbearable smell of wet earth, moss, and woods. I see the listed notes, and nothing mentions that. I also perceive (it was always there, before I lost my sense of smell) that earthy note that gives the base the character of an astringent fougère with very dry woods. Coconut takes the lead in the first few hours, but then the sunny tropical beach abruptly turns into a dark, cold forest.

  • It came to me as a bundle with the regular Be Delicious, and honestly, I thought it looked really ugly. Sold it. Fuchi :3

  • It’s like a breath of fresh tropical air. This fragrance blends the best of pineapple freshness and coconut, creating a sweet and exotic aroma that isn’t cloying. The citrus notes give it a vibrant touch at the beginning, while the coconut and tiare flower add a beachy and relaxed vibe. At the end, the musk and sandalwood base adds a soft and warm touch, making it perfect for daytime wear. The bottle, like other Be Delicious versions, is modern and simple, but with a tropical touch that fits the summer theme. It’s ideal for heat because it’s light, cheerful, and refreshing, yet it has good longevity, accompanying you throughout the day. If you’re looking for a fresh, fun, and easy-to-wear fragrance for summer days, DKNY Be Delicious Coconuts About Summer is an excellent option.
