I was undecided when buying it. The box and bottle are fuchsia with sparkles, the spray nozzle is too, and it says ‘energizing eau de toilette’—maybe it’s a limited edition. It smells different from other scents in the brand: starts intense and dense, minty and fruity, then honey appears. It reminds me of Mugler’s Aura and Angel. Honey dominates later, so use it moderately because it’s strong. In the end, it leaves a fresh trail and that minty-honey touch returns again. I liked it; it’s different. I love minty scents; Cacharel’s Eden is still my favorite.
I have a question: which fragrance are they referring to when they say ‘DKNY Torre Mujer’? There’s a lack of creativity with the bottles. The opening is intense citrus, very similar to CK One.
It doesn’t work for me at all. It feels very thin, lacks character, and the alcohol sting is terrible. The scent is weak, so I won’t be buying it again.
Nothing like it… It’s very weak and lacks personality. The alcohol stings too much, and the scent is barely noticeable. I wouldn’t buy it again.
I love it! Super refreshing and clean, it gives me energy and feels different. Perfect for hot days, daily wear, sports, or the beach. On my skin, the citrus and white florals really stand out, and that liquor note adds a special touch without being annoying—it’s exactly what gives it that energy boost. It lasts over 8 hours with a soft trail that gets reactivated by sweat. Give it a try; it’s a winner for me.
Delicious, I love it. It’s very energetic and smells like mandarin, very long-lasting and different, a fragrance with personality.
Rich, I love it! Very energetic and smells like tangerine. Super long-lasting and unique, a fragrance with real personality.
My clean scent, for daily use, all year round. I love it and never get tired of it.
It smells clean, but in a fresh citrus way. A fragrance that refreshes you and makes you feel good, perfect for warm climates and high temperatures. Its scent intensifies with sweat and heat, which is curious. Personally, I love it; I’ve been smelling it for hours, and it lasts days on clothes.

I agree it’s very pleasant and fresh. The downside is that it has poor longevity for me; I have to apply several sprays to make it last longer. Still, I like it and use it at night too, as it seems relaxing to me.
By the way, there’s an error on Fragrantica. On the DKNY Women Energizing page, there’s a photo of the DKNY Alto, and on the DKNY Woman page, there’s the Woman Energizing; the images are swapped. My perfume has an obvious tomato note; I’ve also seen reviews, but they’re for the Tower (the Alto). Search for the review by Ángeles Parfum on Top Perfumes Frescos, that will clarify things, but I’ll tell you, the notes are listed on the Women Energizing page, even though they belong to the one in the photo called just Woman, which contains the tomato leaf note.
There’s a mistake in this review! The bottle on this sample is fuchsia and doesn’t match the published characteristics. Please fix this because the scents are totally different. The Energizing is sweet, floral, and quite spicy; I bought it on promotion and it wasn’t what I was looking for.
I saw good reviews and went to buy it, but I made a mistake and grabbed the Limited Edition in the pink box—the only Energizing they had. Nothing like what I was looking for, which is the one in the silver box. They say they’re going to discontinue it to reformulate and remove that impressive strength and spark. Maybe that’s why it’s so hard to find. In the end, I got it online and… wow, what a marvel! It won me over on the first spray. I love citrus, especially for summer, and I usually have trouble with anything lasting more than 15 or 20 minutes, even with expensive brands like Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue, Loewe Agua de Mar de Coral, or Dior’s Portofino. For years I used Eau de Rochas, a true gem, until they reformulated it and took away its soul and longevity. I think I’ve finally found an original, modern citrus with great longevity—about 4 hours on my skin, a miracle! At first, it’s impactful, an explosion of icy vodka and lemon that leaves you speechless. Once it dries down, you get the tomato leaf, then faintly the flowers, especially the orchid, as if floating above that super refreshing vodka and lemon cocktail that stays consistent. It seems super original and energizing for summer. For anyone who loves citrus and refreshing scents with body and personality, I heartily recommend the DKNY Women Energizing in the silver box before they discontinue it without mercy. I’m going to buy a refill just in case. It’s a true delight.
I read great reviews and went to a perfumery to buy it, but I made a mistake and grabbed the pink box limited edition, the only Energizing one they had. Nothing like what I was looking for; the one with the silver box is different. Online, people say they’re discontinuing it, maybe to reformulate and reduce that impressive strength and spark. That might be why it was so hard to find. In the end, I bought it online and… wow, what a marvel! It conquered me at the first spray. I love citrus, especially for summer, and I can’t get any of them to last on my skin beyond 15 or 20 minutes, even good brands and expensive ones like Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue, Loewe’s Agua de Mar, or Dior’s Portofino. For years, I used Eau de Rochas, a true marvel, until they reformulated it and took away its soul, that spark and great longevity. I think with this one, I’ve finally found a very original, modern citrus with great staying power; on my skin, it lasts about 4 hours, a miracle! At first, it’s a bit impactful, with an explosive opening of frozen vodka and lemon that leaves you speechless. As it dries down, you notice tomato leaves, then faintly flowers, especially orchid, as if floating over a refreshing vodka-lemon cocktail that stays constant. It seems like a super original and energizing perfume for summer. For anyone who loves citrus and refreshing scents with body and personality, I wholeheartedly recommend DKNY Women Energizing, the silver box version, before they discontinue it or reformulate it without mercy. I’m going to buy a refill just in case. It’s a true treat.
In Chile, they reformulated it. It no longer has the same punch or longevity as a few years ago… what a shame, it was spectacular for my masculine taste.
I don’t recognize it, but I was tempted to buy it. Is it true they reformulated it like my compatriot says? I’m from Chile, and I’m scared because fakes are everywhere here, even in big stores. I don’t know what to believe.
I don’t know this fragrance, but I was eager to get it. Is it true as my compatriot below says they reformulated it? I’m from Chile… the doubt strikes me because I know they reformulate fragrances every so often, when perfumes on the shelves start to fade away. I should clarify that in Chile, counterfeiting is rampant, even in large department stores, they’ve found fakes… I don’t know what to believe.
I can spot it in a crowd, but that citrus-vodka blend just isn’t for me; honestly, I can’t stand it.
People shouldn’t be surprised that getting confused with the damn matte white DKNY towers is a mess. So many flankers for the classic DKNY Women, so many seasonal summer or autumn versions, man/women with minimal differences, now EDT, now EDP, now EDC, it’s made more than one person make a mistake without realizing it, and if you haven’t tested it well in a perfumery and confirmed the bottle, you might end up buying the wrong tower. Who’s to blame? Logically, the company itself for annoying us so much and confusing us. This DKNY Women Energizing is citrusy and summery, like the other dozens of towers from the house. I see it as totally unisex. Really, this very feminine citrus isn’t it. Extreme freshness, with strength and longevity, things that separate it from the classic colonials based on lemon. The vodka and birch notes make it unique and distinctive. Good, especially for summer.

What a mess with DKNY Women. No one can figure it out. I think they discontinued the classic EDT and EDP, and now those fragrances are called ‘Energizing,’ but they have nothing to do with the fuchsia Energizing they released before. I’m about to try this EDT to see if it’s the citrus unisex everyone always talks about, because the EDP is floral and very feminine.
At first, there’s a very pleasant and real citrus aroma, like a bowl full of lemon, lime, bergamot, and grapefruit slices. As it dries down, a greenery of freshly cut leaves appears with a hint of distant nectar, as if it had honey, but very subtle; I think those are the violet leaves. They remind me of tender freshly cut flowers. Everything is mixed with a particular alcohol smell that reminds me a lot of Mrs. Taylor’s Sparkling White Diamonds. It’s an alcohol mixed with flowers and a woody base that gives a clean scent, and yes, it evokes that fragrance. That said, I prefer Mrs. Taylor’s; it’s more feminine and the scent profile is better. DKNY Energizing claims to have florals, but I don’t sense them; they fade with the vodka note, which is what I perceive most and a bit overwhelming. Also, it seems very masculine. I’ll see how it evolves in full summer with 104-degree heat. So far, it’s a definite no and a waste of money.
Refreshing and well-citrusy; I really smell the tangerine, very juicy. There’s a green note I can’t quite identify, but it’s very nice. It lasts 5 to 6 hours on my skin.
It’s a clean, very masculine unisex citrus, despite being marketed as feminine. I don’t sense the florals in the composition. It’s not a sweet lemon like Light Blue or Funny by Moschino; the path is very refreshing but distinct from what I usually wear. I recommend testing it before buying.
Super fresh; the citrus notes and floral ones like violets complement each other to give a super energetic and summery aroma. The longevity is short. Ideal for daily use.
It was my favorite perfume. It lasted many hours, that delicious citrus scent gave me energy and elegance. Plus, I loved the transparent tower bottle. It was hard for me to find a citrus that didn’t suffocate and didn’t have wood or floral notes (I hate those). They told me they were going to discontinue it, but I could always get it. This year, 2025, I went to a Paris store in Santiago, Chile, and to my surprise they changed the bottle: it’s still a tower but more transparent, and the perfume doesn’t last at all; it seems diluted or like a knockoff. I paid about $62. I won’t buy it again. I just hope to find another one as good as the previous one.
This used to be my favorite perfume; it lasted hours, and that citrus note gave me energy and elegance. Plus, I loved the clear tower bottle. It was so hard to find a citrus scent that didn’t suffocate or have wood or floral notes (I hate those). Years ago, they told me it was being discontinued, but I could always find it. This year, in 2025, I went to a Paris store in Santiago, and to my surprise, the packaging changed: the bottle is still a tower but more transparent, and the perfume doesn’t last at all—it seems diluted or like a copy. I paid around $62 and don’t think I’ll buy it again. I just hope I can find another one as good as the original.
If you’re looking for something fresh, interesting, and memorable for everyday wear, this DKNY is a great option. It smells incredible and lasts longer than expected for a citrus and herbal perfume. The scent is green with a special touch of tomato. It’s totally unisex and works for any occasion, though it shines in spring and summer. I wear it all year round. It’s perfect for work, college, or to feel sporty at the gym. It’s what Maison Margiela From the Garden wants to be: lasts twice as long, smells better, and is cheaper.
I never tried the 1999 version, maybe that’s why, since DKNY isn’t my favorite brand except for Fresh Blossom. Good thing I didn’t, because I heard that one was better and I would have been disappointed. This version is super refreshing, citrusy, and green all at once. It’s autumn and in my city it’s still 90 degrees Fahrenheit, so I can wear it. I think it’s unisex, though I see it as more feminine. I picked it up for 765 Mexican pesos, about $41.50. A good buy if you want to step away from common citrus scents.
I used it quite a bit, but now when I smell it, I rush to get out because it makes me nauseous. It feels a bit sweet mixed with citrus, and it just doesn’t work for me.
I used to wear it a lot, but now I smell it and it makes me gag; I run away immediately. It smells like sweet mixed with citrus and just doesn’t work for me.
