Desperte by Natura is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2014, the nose behind this composition is Verônica Kato. The top notes are nutmeg and bergamot; the heart notes are lavender, violet leaves, hyssop, and geranium; and the base notes are vetiver, cedar, and sandalwood.

I absolutely love this perfume; it’s nothing like the original Biografia. This and Desperté are very youthful, but this one has a slightly childish vibe, similar to Natura’s Urbano Recrea. It’s super youthful—even a 12-year-old could wear it. Very fresh, with a barely noticeable light woody note and citrus, leaning more towards herbal. I can’t really distinguish the notes well; it’s versatile for all seasons and perfect for daytime. The slight sweetness reminds me of Zara’s Raw Vetiver—they’re similar in that aspect but totally different otherwise. It lasts a long time, over 7 hours on skin and even longer on clothes. At first, it’s extremely soft, but after two or three hours, it really comes out. This is definitely one I’ll get the most use out of because I genuinely like it.
Smells like D&G Pour Homme: fresh, talcum-powdered, and not heavy at all. It also reminds me of Tous Intense (that D&G clone), but I prefer this because it doesn’t get cloying on my skin. It’s more for daily wear or the office compared to Tous, which I think is better suited for night due to its sweetness. For now, it feels a bit shy, staying close to the skin. A great alternative to D&G, which is way more expensive here in Peru.
