This isn’t really a review, but if anyone reads this, could you comment on how Desir de Rochas smells and if you’d recommend it for fall and winter? Thanks so much.
Hi Jesús Ramón, my brother gifted this to me and it smells good. It’s a fresh EDT for everyday wear, though nothing extraordinary. At 27 euros, I wouldn’t buy it myself, but everyone smells things differently and the trail varies. For me, the opening is sweet but not overpowering; after 30 minutes, the cocoa and cardamomo kick in without losing the grapefruit, making it more serious later. The cocoa is almost imperceptible; people say they smell it, but I don’t. Then the cocoa fades and the vanilla takes over until the end. Should I recommend it? It depends on what you’re looking for. I wouldn’t pay that for it; I prefer my Jil Sander, which smells like a mixed pepper note—spicy but subtle. It’s not for fall or winter, but rather for spring and summer. It has good skin longevity, though I don’t know how long the trail lasts since I’ve only tested it at home.
Hello, honestly, it didn’t convince me at all. I was looking for that hint of cocoa and vanilla promised in the description, but all I smell is 100% citrus. Also, I’d dare say it smells way too much like Watt Blue. Have a great day, and I hope you guys do like it.
