Daarej Rasasi: A spectacular fragrance from the very first moment… An uncommon combination that makes a difference in every facet; the opening is enchanting and the evolution improves even more… without forgetting that its projection was generous. It reminds me of Valentino, though many relate it to certain similarities, I perfectly sense the cardamomo, which constantly plays with a delicate but prominent pale rose, mixing with a delicious vanilla, while the sandalwood gives it the perfect masculine touch and the musk adds cleanliness, purifying the aroma. The result is beautiful. It’s one of those fragrances you don’t get tired of, the ones you keep seeking, the ones you beg not to be discontinued. An enchanting, magnetic, and sexy aroma. One of the ones that arrived to take a spot on my list of great favorites. Very versatile, for day, afternoon, night, cold, or heat, it’s always a pleasure. Scent: 10. Projection: good (3 hours). Longevity: 8 hours. Recommended.
I had this years ago and have to admit I liked it a bit… a sweet smell, like candies and caramels, mixed with woods, and honestly, it wasn’t bad!… good longevity… I see it for very young people…
Very nice scent, smoky and sweet, but it doesn’t last for me at all; it projects strongly but after 3 hours, I can barely detect it on my skin.
The worst of all my fragrances. I bought it blind and the scent feels familiar, it’s very strong, gives me nausea, and makes me want to wash my arm; it’s not normal. I’ve tried it several times but can’t do it. You might like it, but I recommend smelling it first if you can.
Horrible! I bought it blind and it smells like floor cleaner.
Perfumes are very subjective; some might not like it, but in my opinion, it’s very good for the price you pay. For me, it comes off as masculine. Good fragrance for what it costs.
I’d been looking for this fragrance for a while, wanted to try it because Rasasi is highly praised, and after hitting it right with Shuhrah, I had to have it. I saw an irresistible deal on Notino at a ridiculous price that’s cheap on its own, so I bought it blind without a second thought. It arrived today and I sprayed it three hours ago; I’m absolutely delighted, it’s very masculine and elegant. I don’t know the longevity yet, but it looks promising. It reminds me slightly of Quasar by Jesús Del Pozo. The design is simple but pretty, just like Shuhrah; the liquid is nice too. It’s in the blue line, like Bleu or Invictus, maybe a tiny bit like Versace Eros. Another blind buy success, very happy.
Perfect for winter night dates. Warm, cozy, and very masculine; one of my favorites. I grabbed it on sale for 9 euros for 100ml, so I got 7. Cheers.
I expected more intensity and longevity based on what I read. Maybe it’s my skin, but the performance is fair, leaning towards average. The fragrance is pleasant, nothing groundbreaking, but pleasant. I think it’s better suited for cold weather. If you buy it blind, you won’t be disappointed because it smells good, but from my perspective, it offers nothing special.
Soft and unisex, but that tonka bean, vanilla, and cardamomo combo is so trendy it takes away from its ‘must-have’ status. The base features sandalwood and a touch of patchouli that sweeten it further. Honestly, expectations weren’t met; it’s good, harmless, great for daily wear or intimate moments, but nothing that screams for attention. It would suit girls well; on their skin, it would definitely shine brighter. Zero Arab vibe, all Western. The house disappoints me on performance and projection, just like with Sotoor Waaw and this Daarej. Curious that Yuqawan, Tobacco Blaze, and Shuhrah last so much longer. Agree with the previous reviewer: don’t buy blind, though at the ridiculous price, it’s a good purchase. Cheers.
It’s a rich fragrance that surprised me and got me compliments on the skin. It lasts 9 hours on clothes until you wash them. I wear it at night, or during the day with a light spray for winter, fall, and spring. Not for summer.
I bought it a few days ago knowing it’s for winter, but I couldn’t resist wearing it in August, and I still got more compliments than with several summer perfumes. The price is a steal for such a specimen.
For the price, around 17 euros for 100ml, this is a marvel in every aspect.
Does anyone else smell like little plastic bouncing balls?
For the occasional reader, this is just my experience. Imagine a tiring Friday, you’re at the hairdresser looking for a change. The stylist gives you a modern, bold cut. You grab the perfume your brother gifted you and walk out with an old-school opening. By night, amidst laughter, you feel refreshed and satisfied. A friend approaches and says, ‘You smell great.’ You tell them it’s a characterful, spicy, warm perfume that lifts you up. They nod and say you should wear it more. The perfume did its magic: a spicy opening, a sweet heart that draws compliments, and a renewed energy. Good luck, gentlemen!
I’m new to this perfume thing. For the $18 I paid, it’s very good. It lasts about six hours on the skin and projects for the first two. The synthetic smell is only for the first second; after that, it’s a really good scent that gets compliments. The only downside is that in hot weather, it gets a bit suffocating.
Amazing perfume, incredible how good it smells.
The opening smells like pure alcohol, nothing else. After two hours, it barely smells like vanilla and projects nothing; it smells like hand sanitizer. Horrible perfume, I don’t recommend it. If you want to smell like vanilla at night, buy Afan 9PM; that one is actually good.
“Pectacular”. Before, I only bought Rasasi Fattan and couldn’t stand anything else Arabic, but I decided to give Daarej a chance because it smells like Valentino—my dad used to wear it when I was little—plus the good reviews. I hit the jackpot: it smells round and it’s cheap. It opens spicy, fresh, and strong, like Gucci Guilty EDT. At first, it smells like cardamom and cumin, then a delicate rose with vanilla appears, nothing loud. The spices aren’t warm; they’re sparkly and fresh. The dry down is sweet, floral, and masculine with a spicy touch. Perfect for the gym, the bar, or going out, and also for work or dinner with a partner. You can wear it all year round; no need to overthink it. Put it on whenever you want. I regret it a bit because I already have similar perfumes, so if you’re in my boat, maybe skip it—it doesn’t add anything new. In short, great scent and great price.
I’ve been searching among Arabic options for years, and this one always caught my eye because of the name, the brand, and that gorgeous color. It took me three years to try it, and wow, it really hooked me. It’s super versatile, worth the price, easy to find, and original. I love the opening and the heart notes, though the dry down sounds like a mix of pepper and musk. I’d wish the top notes lasted longer and had a bit more punch, but it’s a great option. It reminds me of Kenzo EDP but lighter and cleaner, with less incense and fig. For the price, you can’t go wrong trying it.
I won’t say what it smells like or what it’s for, but it’s an almost perfect dupe, 99.9%, of the discontinued V by Valentino. So if you liked the Valentino one and don’t want to pay a fortune for an old, secondhand bottle, this is your perfume. My best discovery.
Not much experience, but here’s my take: the opening feels a bit sharp, but the atomizer is 10/10. Once it dries down, you get the vanilla and that musky base that adds sweetness, but always with those florals that give it a clean touch. Seems like a day-to-day fragrance, a signature scent without being too age-specific. What catches my attention is that the liquid in my bottle is sort of gray; I don’t know if they reformulated it, as there’s not much info online about it.
It has a pleasant floral detergent scent. I like the aroma, but I’m not really using it as a perfume. It’s soapy, floral, and synthetically clean. It smells good, but it just doesn’t quite work for me. It would make a great room freshener.
I loved it.
I bought a used bottle because I couldn’t find it and the price was too good to pass up, and Rasasi didn’t disappoint; honestly, it’s an excellent perfume. Rich spicy opening, then musky and sweet with vanilla, lots of musk. Great for work or a date, it’s not overpowering, doesn’t bother anyone, smells amazing, and lasts a long time. My only critique is the lack of evolution, as it seems to smell the same throughout.
It’s good, but the opening gives me a bit of a conflict because it smells too much like cumin. Once it dries, it changes completely. I’d say smell it before buying blind, because the opening doesn’t appeal to everyone.
I don’t collect perfumes; I collect scents, and I have to say this is undoubtedly one of the best I’ve ever smelled. Once it dries on the skin, it stops sounding synthetic and wraps you in a floral bubble. I’ve received countless compliments, so it’s in my top 5 scents (I own 21 perfumes). For the price, it’s a top-tier scent, different from the others. It fascinates me, and keep in mind I’m usually into sweet fragrances, but this one captivated me.
I tested it at 9 AM with a vaseline base and couldn’t detect anything. By 11 AM, I had to reapply because I couldn’t even smell it on my skin. It lasted between one and two hours; I asked everyone in the office, and by noon, there was no scent left. Not worth spending the money on.
A real steal from the Arabic perfumeries, considering the price and composition. It’s very functional for daily wear. The scent is quite unique, featuring cumin and vanilla, but it doesn’t smell like dessert or food.
It’s different and spectacular for the price. It smells like anise, like that lilac candy we used to eat as kids. It seems like dulce de leche but aromatic, with a fresh touch. I recommend it for the price, though it’s not for everyone because it’s not citrusy or super sweet. It doesn’t smell like alcohol if you let it mature for a month; fresh out of the bottle, it’s strong. 8/10.
What really stands out to me is the rose and vanilla with a touch of sweet habanuba. The sandalwood and musk become more noticeable as time passes. It lasts a long time, so you don’t need to apply many drops, though I wouldn’t wear it during the heat of summer.
Amazing fragrance, the quality-to-price ratio is incredible. Can it seem synthetic? Maybe, but nobody is going to judge you for that. The longevity is beastly and the projection is excellent.
Smells like camel, I don’t detect any vanilla or sweetness.
It’s spicy and sweet, with cumin and cardamom making it warm and different. Then comes a floral heart with rose and lily, elegant, and finishes with vanilla, tonka, and amber. It’s intense and long-lasting. I wear it on cool nights because it adds warmth; in the heat, it’s too much, so I save it for special occasions. Not versatile, but when it works, it’s perfect.
I own many perfumes and this is my first signature. It smells sweet and unique. It’s flat, yes, but it’s so charming that I don’t mind. Lasts a ton: 2 hours projecting and 9 on the skin. A beast of a fragrance.
It’s a fantastic daily, already my signature. At first, it’s sharp, but quickly turns floral and warm. It’s rare: sweet yet clean, though a bit intense. Lasts a long time and projects well. I bought it blind and was surprised. If you want something unpredictable, try it.
It’s a gem for me. It costs $16 and smells like anise with a mineral touch, not so much vanilla as they say. It’s pleasant for mild or cold days, but I wouldn’t wear it in the heat. Lasts 4 hours on skin and days on clothes. Great for going out or work, but not for showering. Totally recommended.
Bought it because it promised a dulce de leche scent, but it’s a lie. At first, it smells like anise and fresh cumin, but then it fades and smells like Axe mixed with sweat. I regret the purchase.
I hated it and wouldn’t recommend buying it blind. I get why others like it, but to me, it feels very masculine and typical of Arabic perfumes. It smells a lot like Joop! Homme, but I prefer the original because it evolves better. It’s for mature people, not anyone under 32.
Bought it blind based on social media and absolutely loved it. It hits 100% of my expectations because it smells unique and uncommon. It’s addictive, perfect for all seasons, and the price is a steal.
