It’s a super feminine perfume, though I usually don’t assign gender to fragrances… but this one is hard for me to imagine on a man. Maybe it’s because of what it evokes: about twenty years ago, when I’d hit pubs and clubs with that cigarette smoke in the air, I was a frenetic twenty-something who loved long nights out. Every day I’d smell girls wearing powerful, flashy perfumes like Cacharel’s ‘Amour Amour’—very night-out and clubby, with a certain rose scent mixed with smoke and a party woman’s sweat, something animalic and musky that was irresistible to me… I can’t describe it well, but if I smell this on a woman late at night, it really turns me on 😁
