Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2002, it was created by perfumer Jacques Polge. The top notes unfold with orange, bergamot, and grapefruit; the heart reveals rose, lychee, and Italian jasmine; while the base notes land with patchouli, Tahitian vetiver, bourbon vanilla, and white musk.

  • My favorite for spring and summer afternoons, and maybe some nights. I love it because it’s long-lasting; even though it’s an EDT, it lasts a long time on my skin. I find its notes pleasant; it’s sophisticated, refined, distinguished, and elegant like Miss Dior. The patchouli, orange, and roses stand out, then I perceive vetiver and vanilla. Ideal for romantic outings in spring or outdoor summer nights.

  • The EDT and EDP are similar, but I find the EDT fresher and more citrusy. It’s softer and more delicate, ideal if the EDP feels heavy or overwhelming to a second-nose wearer. If you like citrus and freshness without being ‘common,’ it’s a great option. I just applied the last bit of a decant, and it smells delicious. Despite everything, I stick with the EDP, but I don’t rule out buying the EDT for its versatility. I recommend it for spring and evenings. It suits any age. A very good fragrance, I love it, I can’t stop sniffing the bottle. Feminine, a little sweet… it’s charming. 8.5/10.

For some reason, smelling it made me think of a cute, coquettish girl, like Penny from The Big Bang Theory. It has that undeniable Chanel touch: elegance and sensuality in equal measure. Interesting fruity treatment. Mixed with a woman’s natural scent, the result can be sincerely bewitching.

  • I owned the EDP and adored it, but I struggle to wear it; on my skin, it projects too much. Yesterday I tried this version, and while they are similar at first, this one becomes more subtle later; the citrus notes stand out more, and the vetiver is less prominent; it feels warmer, and the longevity is very good. It’s on my ‘want to buy’ list.

  • This is a great version of Chanel. Exquisite, fresh, slightly spicy, cheerful, luminous, attractive, and sexy. Patchouli, citrus, and flowers. I love it; it’s totally original. Nothing like No. 5 or similar scents for women from the past. Coco Mademoiselle is for TODAY.

  • Delicious and feminine, it’s addictive (unfortunately, since it’s not cheap). When I wear it, it envelops me in joy. The citrus notes give energy, then it settles into a sweet, floral, and musky tone, so sensual. For everyday wear, the office, or going out with friends in the sun, it makes me feel comfortable, relaxed, and sexy, like wearing a perfect simple dress. A salesperson recommended it when I asked for something fresh and different. It will accompany me for a long time.

  • Mmm… what memories it brings back. How to explain it: rich, exquisite, sexy, fruity. I adore it, maybe I’ll buy it again. Very long-lasting with great projection.

  • Camila Canela

The scent is pleasant, but the longevity is non-existent on my skin. I have to carry it in my bag and reapply at least four times. It doesn’t offer good projection for the price. Since I prefer Modadicta, I should have opted for the EDP; this EDT evaporates quickly, it’s softer, and you enjoy it less. I’ll wait until it runs out to buy the EDP, which will last longer and won’t finish so fast.

  • It’s a vanity jewel. I love how it evolves on the skin. I prefer its opening and dry-down notes; the heart doesn’t overwhelm me. It’s elegant without being heavy. As soon as I spray it, I hear ‘From Me to You’ by the Beatles. Highly recommended for feminine women with character.

  • Exclusively for citrus lovers, as these are the predominant notes that dominate the entire perfume. In my opinion, this dominance makes it feel hard, not delicate, or feminine. It’s not my style because I usually don’t like strong citrus scents. It reminds me of the legendary Ô by Lancôme or Eau de Rochas; apparently, they share several notes. The sillage and longevity are moderate, but that’s normal for this type of perfume. It’s not overpowering or tiring; a good summer option for citrus lovers.

  • María Esther

It’s a pleasant scent, but it doesn’t last on my skin, unlike the perfume. Overall, it’s soft, not very citrusy but fresh, ideal for everyday wear, though it doesn’t fascinate me.

  • Odette Ar.

It’s not an excessively pleasant fragrance, but it is very elegant. It smells like a refined lady who doesn’t seek to please but to dominate. The dominant notes are rose, citrus, and patchouli. It has good projection and longevity, and it lasts days on clothes. I think it’s ageless; both my mom (60) and I (20) wear it.

  • MaitenaMaitena

I consider it very similar to the EDP. It’s a super feminine, urban, and modern scent. It works well for all seasons; I love that slightly earthy patchouli note. Good longevity and sillage; it’s one of my favorites.

  • Yadorán d'Vinea

The Eau de Toilette of this Chanel classic has earned its reputation. It’s a luminous, cheerful, and radiant essence that reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy, but with the difference that Coco is more centered and composed. Since most people have tried Coco Mademoiselle, it’s easier to compare it to the EDP. First, it accentuates a citrus burst in the opening—a tyranny of orange that settles quickly to reveal a delicate floral heart. The difference lies in the base: the vetiver is minimal, and lacking opoponax, it doesn’t have as much character as the EDP. The base reveals it’s a product by Lagerfeld rather than strictly by Coco, as it’s drowned in vanilla to fill gaps. What would Coco have done? Taken risks. Tragically, in my opinion, it’s not the scent of a woman, but rather an expensive and elegant infusion of orange and vanilla. It’s not bad, but it’s not what I expected from Chanel, especially me, who isn’t afraid to say she loves classics that seem obsolete. If it wasn’t there yesterday, it won’t be today or tomorrow.

  • Fernanda2620

I’ve already owned this perfume three times: it’s rich, elegant, and woody, perfect for special occasions. What more can I say? Everyone knows it already. If it’s not in your collection, you’re missing out.

  • Very pleasant, but unfortunately, it doesn’t last on my skin at all and leaves no sillage. A pity given the price.

  • In my opinion, it smells very much like Miss Dior Eau de Toilette, although Miss Dior has better longevity and sillage.

  • Interesting and elegant; I could even wear it if I wanted to. It’s a heavy fragrance with a lot of presence, a bit bold. Not something I’d use every day.

  • :O! I don’t understand why I always lean towards oriental scents, but this Coco Mademoiselle Toilette is my top pick among my favorites. It defines me, flatters me, and makes me feel comfortable in my own skin. It’s elegance and subtlety in a single bottle—minimalist and chic. Although I was hoping for the EDP, I feel so at ease with this one. Sure, it might seem outdated to many, but for me, it’s just me: elegant, romantic, melancholic, poetic, strong, and tender. 10/10, the longevity is incredible.

  • Geno Guerrero

The most sublime version of my beloved Coco Mademoiselle EDP; this is for those who love CM EDP but can’t tolerate it. It’s citrusy, ideal for work meetings where you need to show personality without overwhelming others. Elegant and even can be unisex. I love it.

  • I prefer Coco Mademoiselle EDT because, although it’s similar to the EDP, it’s lighter; the citrus notes give it a fresh dry-down, you can use it perfectly daily, and it doesn’t get boring; it’s not as formal as its sibling. The only thing I don’t like is its price 😐

  • flopy_2709

I owned the CM EDP and couldn’t handle it; I love it, but since it’s intense, it’s invasive and gives me headaches. I decided to try this: it’s a very similar scent but with more pronounced and fresh citrus notes, less intense patchouli, not so ‘earthy,’ the rose is noticeable but more delicate… in short, it smells like the EDP version but is more subtle, fresh, casual, and delicate. It has less character and is a bit less elegant. For an EDT, it has good longevity—at least on me, about 6-7 hours—and its trail is moderate. It’s very versatile and can be worn almost all year round, though I wouldn’t wear it on hot days.

  • Étoile Blanche

As I mentioned in my Coco Mademoiselle EDP review, this patchouli note kills me; I just can’t handle it. Since it’s an EDT, I tolerated it much better than the EDP, but in the end, it stayed there, persistent and overwhelming. The pH of each skin and how it affects every note is an alchemy and a mystery. Still, and despite my great regret, I’ve had to accept that Coco Mademoiselle and I won’t be friends; it’s a fragrance I like on others, and when I smell it in the bottle or on a blotting paper. What a pity. Longevity and sillage are optimal, and the ingredients are of high quality.

  • Paris in a bottle: it has no rival. It’s rich, unique, elegant, and refined. I recommend it to women over 25. Works well day or night, in spring or winter, for the office or a dinner, whatever it may be.

  • A delicious fragrance. At first, I thought it was a bit unisex, but over time on the skin, it becomes incredible. It came out a bit powdery on me, but it smells incredible. I can’t quite explain it, but it’s very good. Perfect for daytime or the office.

  • Vale Lollipop

Does anyone know if it smells like the Daisy? I’m looking for something similar but with better longevity and more sillage. Thanks!

  • I gifted it to my wife, and both of us loved it. It smells amazing and has great projection. We haven’t tried the EDP with such good reviews, so I can’t compare it yet.

Coco Mademoiselle is one of my all-time favorites. Imitated a thousand times, but unmatched. That blend of citrus, floral, and sweetness evolves over time, with a brightness that reminds me of sparkling champagne on a Parisian terrace with the Eiffel Tower in the background—a chic, charming woman. Everything fits perfectly; nothing is harsh, everything harmonizes. It’s super versatile, perfect for day or night, and looks great anywhere, making any outfit shine, whether sporty, chic, casual, or elegant. From the market to boutiques, from the boulevards to cafés, from morning to night, from work to uni, Coco Mademoiselle always adds just the right touch to turn the mundane into something special. It’s delicious, irresistible, and addictive. A well-rounded composition, a masterpiece by Jacques Polge and worthy of Chanel. And here’s a bonus: even the Eau de Toilette lasts forever and projects without being intrusive. Coco Chanel is natural elegance bottled as perfume, something anyone with good taste adores. Au revoir! Edit: I sprayed it on a paper 5 days ago, a little got on my shirt sleeve, and it still smells like Coco Mademoiselle.

  • Candycandy40

Feels like pure Chanel: luxury and character in a bottle. It’s delicate and feminine without being overpowering, yet it has presence and class. Works great all year round and is perfect for formal events.

  • The first time I smelled it, I liked it a lot. It seemed refined, sophisticated, and very feminine. I like the citrus opening and how quickly the flowers appear. And that’s the problem: on my skin, it disappears very fast. I’ll try the EDP later. I don’t feel it’s similar to Daisy; Daisy seems fresher and brighter to me, while this Coco feels more muted, perhaps due to the roses.

  • karugervazoni

I’ve always been prejudiced against Chanel; I’d tried few fragrances (including the EDP) and they seemed like older lady scents. But this perfume surprised me—it’s very lovely. At first, I find it a bit strong, but it softens afterward. It’s a citrus and floral aroma, yet also slightly powdery. I see it as versatile. The best part is that it has an air of my beloved Miss Dior EDP (2012). The only criticism is that I don’t feel good sillage; I’d have to spray it several times to improve performance. If you like citrus, floral, soft perfumes, or the Miss Dior EDP (2012), I mega-recommend it for blind buys. It’s a pleasant scent, ATP. Edit: I sprayed it 6 times and it lasted all day. I love it.

  • Floral woody elegance with an aura that evokes fine tea salons like Angelina in Paris. It’s a polysemy on the skin where the best part is the contrast between the floral (very feminine) and the wood (sober and contained), creating a constant and interesting dialogue. The entire formula features the rose and patchouli duo prominently. A very Chanel perfume; just as Coca-Cola has its seal, these perfumes have a fixed, recognizable identity. Personally, I prefer this Eau de Toilette over the perfume because of its fluctuation and journey; I perceive its layers as more veiled, less sweet, and drier. A 10 and bravo.

  • Gemasevilla

I’ve used both. On my skin, the EDT is fruitier as it dries and keeps that ‘effervescent’ opening touch until the very end. The EDP dries out more woody, and the patchouli is more noticeable. I still prefer the EDP because it has more body, consistency, a better dry-down, and lasts longer with less application.

  • How hard is it to review such a well-known fragrance? I admit I wanted the EDP for the coveted bottles, but it’s not for me. On the other hand, the EDT… magic! Love at first sniff. That blend of orange and patchouli has me spellbound. A slight soapy touch and very Chanel-like that I adore. This and Chance are my favorites from the house. I wear it in autumn, but today it’s hot (summer) and it pleasantly surprised me. A beauty, a classic. Very Chanel.

  • Kimmbaekkie

My husband gifted me this EDT. Honestly, I’m indifferent: it doesn’t bother me, but I don’t love it either. It’s moderately fresh and you can feel the elegance of Chanel. I wear it when I’m unsure what else to put on because I know it’s universally likable; even though it’s not my favorite, I’ve received compliments. Medium-to-high longevity, about 6 to 8 hours on me.

  • locadelosperfumes

I like it, though it doesn’t blow me away. I wanted a Chanel and bought this. It has too much patchouli for my taste, so I apply a tiny bit. On my skin, it opens with a note of orange and then turns sweet. Hoping I’ll like it more with time. I’ll wear it this spring; I’m in the Southern Hemisphere.

  • It has muuuuuuch better longevity for an Eau de Toilette, and while it’s not exactly the same as the perfume, it’s incredibly close—about 95%.

  • Buy blind! Roses with just the right amount of patchouli. Reminds me of Miss Dior but more formal. I see it as perfume you wear to dress up—an extra accessory that’s a must when you’re looking polished.

  • Got this as a gift and almost never wear it. Every time I test it, I wipe my hand because the patchouli is so sharp and I don’t smell anything else; once it dries, it smells like very boring rose. It has great longevity and sillage, but it’s just not for me.
