  A modern, masculine scent with a very clear aquatic touch blending pepper, wood, and iris. The incense becomes noticeable over time. To me, Citizen X smells like strong anarchy and freshness, like a classic cologne. The iris note feels very masculine, though I prefer it in other fragrances. The longevity is decent, but the intensity is low for the price—typical of brands that just popped up. I wonder if the niche world is truly the best, or if we’re just being sold quality for the sake of price and exclusivity. It didn’t impress me, though it has a certain elegance; if you’re dressing up for the night, there are better and cheaper options out there. Courtesy of Rafasant.

  What a letdown. It smells like one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. I picked it up in a brand sample pack and it’s a total disaster; even without checking the notes, it’s obvious something’s off. White pepper and resins at the start?? I don’t see anything elegant about this. Not recommended at all. One of the worst on the market. I’d give it a 2/10.
