  At first, it’s a mix of pineapple and lavender, with the pineapple feeling a bit synthetic. Then in the dry down, the iris really stands out—lots of iris, but different from Dior Homme; maybe less sweet because here the iris is accompanied by other flowers. After four hours, that iris and lavender impression fades, giving way to musk, amber, a touch of vetiver, and moss, leading to a drier finish. The sillage is moderate to heavy if overapplied and lasts over 12 hours, closing right on the skin. It’s a youthful and distinct fragrance. If you don’t like pineapple or iris, it’s not for you. While it shares similarities with the DH, the latter is more elegant; this one is more informal. I see it as ideal for winter or cold nights to take advantage of its standout notes. It’s discontinued in some places, but I found it for $55 for 100ml, an economical option compared to the DH, though in my opinion, not better.

  Totally agree, it’s a really interesting fragrance. I compared it to three beasts: Dior Intense, Jacomo for Men, and Declaration by Cartier. It smells like them but is much more wearable; it doesn’t emphasize the iris florals as much and captures that Cartier and Jacomo essence. The best part is how it evolves over time, so I bought it blind. I grabbed it in Chile on recommendation (contact in the profile) at a great price: $53, about 40k pesos. Between paying $126 for the DH Intense, no need to even think about it.
